A statement from the Honourable Saffron Naomi Howard AM, Mayor of the Self-Administrative City of Tinhampton:

It has come to my attention that, for little to no apparent reason, the major right-wing party in the Republic of La Boca has been banned from the elections that it had promised (successfully) to organise as the legitimate government of the Republic. Without their participation in the elections, and the subsequent Justicialist Party majority I have been made aware of, it is clear that this is a move that has been deliberately constructed to ensure a left-wing government in perpetuity. Evidently, if the new government had failed to replace the members of the Electoral Tribunal, then obviously they must have been made aware of that administration's failure to de-proscribe the ilk of the Atheist Association.

Therefore, Tinhampton no longer recognises the government of the Republic of La Boca. We hope you can understand, but if you can't, you're welcome to ban elections and foist Justicialism upon your entire populace.

Under the Government Act 1930, this is an official statement by the Hon. Saffron Howard AM, Mayor of Tinhampton. Attempted impersonation can result in up to a two-year prison sentence.

Authoritarian Democracy

The first results of the parliamentary and presidential elections are announced.
The Justicialist Party is winning the elections for Prime Minister.
The elections for president are won by the Communist Party.
The elections were carried out with normality throughout the country, except in the autonomous community of Colegiales, where an armed teenager shot a group of voters screaming "Long live Germán!" in reference to the center-right leader of the de facto government. The attack commented previously left 7 dead.

Republic of La Boca wrote:Dear Nations.

Through this epistle we want to make known to its citizens and politicians that democracy will soon return in our country.
To be precise, this Sunday, November 4, there will be open, simultaneous, equal, indirect elections to elect the new Prime Minister (and then the President). After the elections, the new Parliament will try to form a government and grant a motion of confidence to the new Prime Minister (or Prime Ministress). The new government will take office on November 18th.

We will be watching the elections. If any tampering at all, we have MIG-31 at standby to bomb your offices. Our satellites are still watching you.
