If Mr. "Present but not involved" continues to rule the party of the numerically illiterate and the racists against whites and Jews I think they could promise privatisation of the NHS and still win at this point.

"Alternative Facts" was a direct quote from Conway, while "present but not involved" was not, Corbyn's statement was widely paraphrased by the media. I'd therefore argue that this does not fall under that precedent.

That's not quite where the line is.

Firstname "That thing I said" Surname is borderline, but probably fine.

Mr. That-thing-I-said falls on the 'things we'd rather not encourage' side of the line. Mr. Paraphrased-thing-I-said is also bad.
