It has created more recent terrorist groups like Antifa and Isis that encroach peoples rights through the globe.
Nothing is done but only arguing on whose wrong instead of doing something right
What do you think? Do you think radicalization is an issue or not.

And definitely true when seen on here

Sadly I’m in a position where I believe greater internal conflict is inevitable

Yeah I mean hell our politics are so partisan it’s barely possible to actually tell well people stand for anymore

I mean the 2000 election was Bush/Gore with all the hanging chads and stolen election claims.. and '04 was where, somehow, a war hero was portrayed as a coward and a person who dodged the entire draft was portrayed as a hero. This was all tied up with the Iraq invasion and the vitriol was, I think, far worse than now.
Now it's mostly just petty, back then it was far more emotional.

I don't know, I was too young to understand the politics but old enough to be aware of what was going on. I don't recall riots in the streets over how those elections went, people banging on doors, and people harassing each other in public spaces.

1500 people were arrested at the Republican convention in '04, and the whole 'not my president' thing started in 2000.. and there were huge demonstrations over the Iraq War, which was hugely divisive. I even remember being in Vietnam and a massive argument sprung up between a bunch of tourists..
..it might not have specifically been division over left and right exactly but it was as bad..

With that kind of unrest, it can apply to today's issues as well since political views on 20th to 21st century wars have been crazy, especially to the recent ones in Human history

All you have to say is "my side all good, your side all bad." If anything that goes back to what I said earlier about nonexistent common ground, because such a statement doesn't start discussion. It ends it.

When I say I was in Vietnam I mean I was there in '03, I wasn't in the Vietnam War.
Anyway, there were huge divisions in that time as well, and one could argue there were major divisions through the Obama presidency as well. I think the difference was that in both times the president wasn't so openly stoking these divisions.
