OEP's had enough running into me to know I definitely go by "she" nowadays. He's also been corrected on it at least once before, but I can't for the life of me find that post.

Definitely a deliberate case this time. They did this last night as well in this post, but I figured they might've had the benefit of the doubt then:Great Minarchistan wrote:it's his own version of our rock-bashing meme, but ours is funnier

You didn't even give me a preemptive warning (or a TG for that matter) asking me to edit the pronouns or talking about how you found it inconvenient that I called you a "he" rather than a "she/they" in both occasions. The fact that you instantly ran to moderation before even doing so shows that you either don't care about misgendering or that you're using your gender preferences so to condone mod action towards people you dislike.

I don't see how it's hard to have, y'know, missed the obvious text in my signature.

I hardly ever/never read sigs at this point, after being on this forum for more than a year and flipping through thousands of posts (especially when your gender preferences aren't even bolded in the sig so to confer a better noticeable tone). In either way, it's very telling that you didn't even TG me asking me to modify the statements (which would be the correct course of action) and instead just ran to the moderation to file a complaint, after a similar case [where you didn't talk to OEP before a report] which is exposed in this same thread.

Huh, really? I figured it was obvious.
In that case, it's my bad.Great Minarchistan wrote:I hardly ever/never read sigs at this point, after being on this forum for more than a year and flipping through thousands of posts (especially when your gender preferences aren't even bolded in the sig so to confer a better noticeable tone). Considering the reactions I've seen off-site, this seemed like a better course of action.
Regardless, as someone's stated, it might not be that obvious in which case this was my bad.

It might also be worth pointing out that you can turn off signatures entirely, I know some people who do that.

If he talked in general terms then the outcome is the same, as there are 20+ million businesses in the US of which each one is obligatorily headed by a ceo

Its hard to change the conceptualization of one's gender [that was built after more than a year of interaction with you] within literally less than a week, so it would be kind of you to give time to this sort of thing
p.s. will edit it for proper gendering

Can't say, all things considered, that I'm buying this. Especially considering, firstly, we had this big argument over this entire matter just literally yesterday.

Subconscious behavior such as referring to someone's pronouns is built structurally rather than dynamically

Licana on the M-21A2 MBT: "Well, it is one of the most badass tanks on NS."
Vortiaganica: Lamoni I understand fully, of course. The two (Lamoni & Lyras) are more inseparable than the Clinton family and politics.
Triplebaconation: Lamoni commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Mandela of NS.

Given the lack of mentions to misgendering in the OSRS and the thread title, you are accusing me of trolling and bad faith posting rather than misgendering per se. Given the content in my posts of where I was accused of misgendering (which demonstrate lack of trolling/taunting against you), my will to fix the situation through more peaceful ways and the fact that two mods have already ruled out the possibility of a punishment in two similar cases, you should just accept the fact that what OEP and I did isn't actionable.

It absolutely *is* actionable if we feel there's intent to annoy/troll another user by intentionally misgendering them. Yes, the pronoun thing is often unintuitive and difficult. When there are accusations of misgendering I like to give the benefit of the doubt to the 'offender'. You are skirting the line, however. I am advising you to think before pressing 'submit' next time you're using the third person to talk about someone who you very recently upset by using the wrong wording when you talked about them in the third person.
Torrocca, this unofficial warning to GM is your second opinion.
