It's 2030, NATO has collapsed, The PRC has Collapsed, and the World is now seeing that the middle east's oil supply isn't infinite, As Saudi Arabia collapses due to it's one major industry starting to run thin, the major superpowers of the world rush to seize what little oil they can, trying to reserve the oil in their territory as much as they can.

History
At the beginning of the Decade, it was becoming clear that Earth's nations couldn't rely on Oil anymore, major innovators of the early 21st Century attempted to replace Oil-powered vehicles with Electric vehicles, though with major companies selling them for such a high price, most of the public couldn't afford them, so they quickly died down. It then came as a major headline, that the United States has run out of Oil within it's borders, then it started a domino effect, then it was Saudi Arabia, then it Was Canada, and then Greenland, and finally when it hit the PRC, it was the hardest blow to the Chinese economy. Around March, the PRC fell, leaving a gargantuan hole in the World Economy, to attempt to secure a major Economic Zone in China, Russia occupied Northeastern Manchuria, Mongolia taking the Rest of Manchuria, Ughyurstan gaining independence, and Tibet gaining independence. In Europe, the Berlin Convention was taking place between Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg, Germany, and Switzerland. The Subject of this convention was to form a unified Germanic nation, this Convention would go successfully, with the Countries unifying, to form the Germanic Federal Republic, this Federal Republic would become one of the Richest nations in the world, and this country would start to fill the Economic Hole. The Oil Crisis was edging forward, the UK was starting to crumble, but on March 19, 2030, Scotland left the United Kingdom, and Northern Ireland joined Ireland, leaving England Alone, though this wouldn't affect the Economy, this would affect the world politically, with England losing political power in the UN. March 21, 2030, Quebec Secedes from Canada, taking Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. It is now March 25, the war with ISIS is finally coming to a close, but it seems that tensions between the Middle Eastern Coalition (Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, and Iraq) and the Atlantic-Pacific Pact (US, Canada, Russia, and Republic of China) could disrupt the peace in the Middle East, and could start a third global-scale war.

Yulia Tymoshenko invited the leaders of Azerbaijan, Turkestan, and Kazakhstan to the city of Tver', to start a Conference about the recently discussed union between those nations, Called the "Union of Sovereign States". "Greetings Gentlemen, We are here to discuss the possible formation of a greater union between our nations." Tymoshenko would begin. "Yes, we are all aware that if this conference goes as planned, there will be unification." the President of Kazakhstan would reply. "Yes, that's why if we do, this would be better for all of us, if we unify, this would build up our economy and possibly settle all of these revolts in Turkestan." Tymoshenko would continue. "That would be even better for my citizens, I'm completely on board with this, I approve the Unification." The President of Turkestan would conclude. "I'm onboard with this aswell, I approve the Unification." The President of Kazakhstan would conclude. "I guess I have no other option. I approve the Unification" the President of Azerbaijan would conclude. "I guess it's settled, the Union of Sovereign States shall be formed, with autonomous ruling in each of the states." Tymoshenko would conclude.

In Moscow, it would be signed that the Union of Sovereign States would be made into an official nation.

The Atlantic-Pacific Pact had nation like the US and Russia now the Union of Sovereign States nations that were superpowers. The President watched as his Chief of the Defence Staff gestured at the map on the wall of the command centre. Located underneath the basement of the Parliament Buildings, a briefing had been called to discuss the state of the Firestone Wind Farm, a state-of-the-art energy megaproject off the coast of New Zealand. Although these matters would normally fall under the purview of the Ministry of the Interior, there was one important aspect that made it a military matter: the wind farm was not, technically speaking, inside New Zealand's marine boundaries. Located north of Kermadec Island, researchers had indicated that the site was ideal for a wind farm; the President had then directed the Minister of the Interior to ignore international protests and begin construction. So far, there had not been a great deal of outrage from other nations, and the President was confident that they were too wrapped up in attempting to secure oil to pay attention to the tiny nation's growing electrical prestige.

Overall, things were going pretty well for the citizens of New Zealand. Under the direction of the President and the United Nation Party, New Zealand had set off on a path to reliance on wind and tidal power, and was now a world leader in renewable-energy technology and deployment. Loyal Party members also had access to cheap, accessible public transit and secure, well-paid jobs manufacturing turbine blades or developing more efficient gearboxes. However, the trade-off for this newfound prosperity and independence was the disappearance of political freedoms. New Zealand's police forces had been granted wide-ranging powers of surveillance and warrant-less arrest, while the Party Security Bureau (PSB) had a reputation for arrests in the dead of night. Political opponents of the government often found themselves social pariahs or, worse, disappeared, often to be found by a foreign fishing trawler washed up on some other coastline.

The real test of the Party's strength, however, would arrive in May 2030. The President had announced a program of autarky in preparation for a global economic downturn as oil supplies began to dry up, and although this had had little visible effects on the citizenry, the government was already feeling the effects. The annual budget had been massively expanded with purchasing of manufacturing equipment, but it was primarily for production of important goods. Meanwhile, offices and departments were forced to make do with what few supplies they had stockpiled. Consumer luxuries, such as chocolate, would be gone soon once the wide-sweeping import bans came into effect on May 1st.

For now, though, the people of New Zealand were happy, and that meant domestic stability. Now, international affairs was what concerned the President, mostly the Firestone Wind Farm. The defence staff had decided on deploying Navy ships to patrol the area and monitor the situation, and now the Chief of the Defence Staff was briefing the President on these updates.

"...and so, I believe that it would be beneficial to reassign NZS Pelican to the southern exercises, while redeploying its air detachment to the construction rig," the general finished.

"Has there been any foreign chatter about the project?" the President asked after a moment.

"So far, it appears to be restricted to reports for updating schedules and shipping maps, sir. We are continuing to monitor for any foreign interest."

"Alright. Thank you, general." The President stood while the general and his aides snapped to attention and saluted. He returned the salute, then left for his office. He had several telegrams to fire off, and time was ticking on this project. The project leader had stated that the first turbine should be ready to go online on April 28th, and the General Staff and the ministers considered that date to be the stamp on their coup de grace.

Angela Merkel paces around her office, thinking of how to spread Volkswagen Electric cars. the CEO of Volkswagen steps in. "Guten Abend, Frau Chancellor, I have more willing companies to adopt electric vehicles." The CEO would say "Excellent, Which ones?" Angela Merkel would reply. "I have Lada, from the USS, Ford, Chevrolet, and and Audi." The CEO would respond. "Sehr gut. Europe shall have adopted Electric Cars by next year." Angela would retort.

Port of Antwerp, Germania, April 11th, 2030

A caravan of Large Shipping crates would arrive at the port. "Get the lifts! get them onto the ship!" one of the workmen would order. A few lifts would appear out of the central vehicle building. The lifts would get into position, and would then pick up the crates,they would slowly move towards to the shipping vessel. The crates would continue to be placed on the shipping vessel, these vessels is going to be sent to Russia, America, Britain, and Quebec.

The five British army AgustaWestland AW159 Wildcats flew high above the choppy waters of the North sea, they'd departed from the HMS Albion a mere fifteen minutes earlier. The Albion along with two type 45 destroyers were sitting further out to sea. The helicopters began breaking off as several large oil rigs began coming into view, the large monolithic structures rising out of the foamy sea. Most of the oil rigs in sight were not much more than rusting hulks now having been abandoned since the oil crash. A handful, however, were still occupied operated by the Scottish Republic that however was about to change. The Helicopters began banking off one by one, each Wildcat heading towards a single oil rig. The lead helicopter landed on a particularly large oil, it's working walking towards the landing pad looking quite dumbfounded until they saw the Union flag oon the side of the helicopter and began fleeing into the oil rig as British troops spread out from the landing. This scene was being repeated on the other four oil rigs as British troops seized the rig and detained the workers. A gunshot rang out as a Soldier came out of the oil rig, the trooper was dressed in old British army uniform but wore a prominent large St Andrews cross armband, a small firefight erupted with a single British soldier being hit before the Scottish soldier was mown down. Once it was apparent that there were no anti-ship weapons deployed on the rigs HMS Albion and the two Type 45 destroyers came closer into the rigs.

While on the phone with the USS, a knock on her door caused her to look up.

"Yes?" Pres. Richardson said

" Mrs. President, an emergency warning came in from our men on the Scottish oil rigs. The British have stormed and taken them. They ask that we respond ASAP." Said General Smith

" Goddammit. Alright, mobilize the U.S.S Gerald R. Ford's carrier group, and any attack subs in the area."

"Yes Ma'am."

Matilda returned to her phone conversation.

"Sorry, can I talk to the President please?"

Meanwhile,

A message comes in to the carrier group Gerald R. Ford.

"Alert the rest of the group to the course change. Get 1st and 2nd F/A-18 squadrons ready for combat sortie." Captain Cummings says

"Aye aye cap'n!" His first mate runs down to ships intercom

"F/A 18 1st and 2nd, make ready for combat sortie, make ready for combat sortie. Cap'n, should the crew get to Battle stations?"

"Yes."

"All crews, Battle-stations, battle-stations. I repeat, all crews, get to for battle-stations!" The siren starts ringing as the sound of feet pounding down the hallways starts. From the superstructure, the captain sees deck crew readying launch areas for the F-18's.

The other ships in the fleet turn about and sail towards the oil rigs. Frigates Fox and Hawk hang back. the ballistics hatches opening. Naval variant Apache helicopters lift of the deck of the Cruisers and Destroyers. The first and second of 1st squadron zoom of the deck, circling, waiting for the rest of the squadron. 5 minutes later the F-18s are in the air and zooming towards their target. Once in range, the attack ships open fire on the enemy destroyers. Hits rock the enemy ships, while helicopter and fighters strafe the deck of the oil platforms. Sea Hawks land on the oil rigs to deploy the Marines aboard.

"Captain, missiles at the ready, waiting for your command!"

"Fire."

Missiles shoot out of the frigates, zooming towards their target."

The Sukoi Su-30 Flankers would buzz the oil rigs, with Mil MI-35 Hind personnel transport helicopters following behind. No more than 7 minutes later, the Hinds would land on the oil rigs, with Russian VDV flooding out, they are yelling at the Scots that they're there to support. As more Russian VDV clear one of the oil rigs, British Operatives open fire upon the VDV. Gunshots are whizzing by, a few VDV were wounded, but none have been KIA just yet, a British Grenade flies onto one of the nearby crates, which one of the Russians is hiding behind, as the grenade explodes, one of the VDV has died.

One of the Russian Senior Sergeants steps up. "I have Praporchik Squadron in there, We'll clear up the Southern Oil Rig." He'd say in broken english.

The British were in complete disarray as seemingly both the Americans and Russians had appeared from nowhere. Several oil rigs held by the British troops were under heavy attack, several wildcats had been lost and HMS Ducan was ablaze after a middle hit but both type 45s were still functioning. What the Americans and Russians seemed to have forgotten as their fighters flew over the North Sea is that the type 45s were some of the best anti air platforms in the world. Missiles streaked skywards from the type 45 downing several Sukhois and f-18s. The British troops retreated into the depths of the oil rig As they finally got their bearings and began fight back against the Russo-American forces.

Mark Carlton tempory military leader of the Rump UK had been stunned into silence as news of the unannounced attack on the British military. The nuclear submarines that were stationed on the Clyde left their moorings and dissapred into the briny depths of the Atlantic. Immeadite diplomatic feelers were sent to both the American and Russian embassy’s demanding to know the meaning of this attack as well as an immeadite cessation of attacks against British troops. A squadron of RAF F-35 Lightings from RAF Newcastle left their base and streamed north along with a squadron of anti ship Tornadoes.

North Sea
In response to the oil conflict near Scotland, the Nordic Sea Defence Force sends in a cruiser and two amphibious assault ships from a Norwegian military base to intervene in the conflict for the sake of ensuring no harm to the oil rigs. The commander of the NSDF begs all belligerents to be cautious about the oil rigs trapped in the conflict. The three ships haven't arrived to the Northern Isles yet, they had just left the Norwegian base.

Stockholm, Sweden, Nordic Confederacy
Ulf Kristersson sees as the oil conflict in the North Sea unfold. He fear that oil spilling might ensue if any oil rig is accidently damaged by either belligerent side. He and the Alliance Party are pushing for a peaceful solution to the conflict. Meanwhile, the Nordic Confederacy doesn't want the newly-formed "Union of Sovereign States" to expand it's imperialistic agenda across the world, just as the Nords has a globalist agenda of their own.

The British military is put on full alert and mobilisation. British army reservists are recalled, even rioting and protesting dies down as the nation is hooked to their television screens as the events in the North Sea unfold. A huge anti Russo-American rally takes place in London although this is later found to be instigated by MI5 however the rally still ends up attracting almost half a million people. The police relax curfew to allow this patriotic display.
The Scottish counties along the English border who had been dragged to independence unwillingly by the SNP petition for re entry into the United Kingdom. The British government appeals at the UN for help.

British army reservists are recalled, even rioting and protesting dies down as the nation is hooked to their television screens as the events in the North Sea unfold. A huge anti Russo-American rally takes place in London although this is later found to be instigated by MI5 however the rally still ends up attracting almost half a million people. The police relax curfew to allow this patriotic display.

April 14th, Madrid, Iberia
President Leonardo Andrade stepped up to the podium to give his address about the recent fighting between American and Russian forces vs British forces. He cleared his throat and spoke saying.

¨The British have recently attacked oil rigs off the Scottish coast an disgusting illegal action of war against the Scots. This action is illegal as there was no declaration of war and it was pointless for the British to do this. We condemn this fully and we applaud American and Russian forces who intervened against the British. And we have every intention of joining American and Russian forces. Yes you heard me correctly The Republic of Iberia hereby declares war upon he United Kingdom of Great Britain.¨ Leonardo stepped off the podium to thunderous applause.

Later that day the Iberian fleet began to sail out. The fleet consisted of one aircraft carrier which was carrying 25 Eurofighter Typhoons and 15 F-16Aś. Two destroyers, one frigate, one cruiser and accompanying the fleet was 3,000 Iberian marines.

Tue Scotish parliament was in an emergency session, the SNP had had a majority at Holyrood during the oil crisis and during the paralysation of the British government had unilaterally declared independence. This had not gone over well with almost half the population who were unionist, and the SNP itself once it had secured its goal of independence had splintered into numerous parties so that now the Scottish government was in the exact same position as the pre-crisis Westminister government. The people were angry with the crash in oil continuing the Scotish economy had screamed to a halt and many, especially in the border regions of Scotland, were pushing for reunification. Of course now their council leaders had asked British troops to come in and take control, the SNP rump who was still the largest party had ordered Scotish troops on the border to fight the advancing British troops, but the majority had simply lain down their weapons, many not wanting to fire on soldiers who but a year or two ago had been their brothers in arms. A few die hard nationalist units of the Scottish republican army had made a stand-in Dumfries, but they simply lacked sufficient quantities of arms and ammunition to stand up to the more well supplied British forces.
The debate in Holyrood continued, with the Scottish nationalists split between those who fully supported finally fighting the English and those who viewed that the Russians and Americans were simply trying to secure Scotlands oil for themselves. The Nationalists were shouting down the unionist MSPs, it erupted into quick brawl before the offending MSP's were dragged out by Police. The Scot Nats shouted at the Unionists calling them traitors, while the Unionist shouted back calling the Scot Nats Yankee puppets.
The debate took a more significant turn when it was reported that not only were the Spanish sending a fleet North but that Aberdeen's city council as well as the surrounding counties which had voted Tory during the last general election, had refused to recognize any longer Holyrood. April 16th
The British missile strike had one lots of damaged yes but unfortunately it also caused civilian casualties which outraged Iberian all across the nation which made the British attempt to gain allies in Iberia fail miserably only gaining a handful of unorganized poorly armed poorly trained rebel cells.

Not only that but around 30'000 Iberian troops began to gather along with 8 Leopard 2E tanks and 5 M60 tanks and 9 M114 155 mm howitzers along with their transportation vehicles like the Portuguese Pandur got ready to assault Gibraltar. They were not ready to attack yet but soon they would be.


As for the British sorties again it was a move the seemed like a good idea but began to backfire. The Iberian navy AA guns opened fire as Iberian aircraft engaged British aircraft. While the British aircraft were better than Iberian the AA weapons on the Iberian naval vessels countered this advantage but British aircraft did manage to damage the frigate and one of the destroyers. 6 of the Eurofighter Typhoons and 7 of the F-16Aś were shot down but their well trained pilots along with the AA guns on the naval vessels inflicted decent losses upon the British.

The Iberians were not idiots and had no plan to go to the English channel instead sailed up to Scotland to try and meet up with Russian and American forces.

However, they were well equipped the troops were equipped with Virtus body armour, as well as heavy anti-tank weaponry and aa weapons. In addition, the ships in the port could provide fire support to the troops. Iberia would not take Gibralter without a fight as the British dug trenches and turned the rock into a fortress bristling with weapons ranging from Artillery to manpads to even Rapier missiles. Several Challenger 2 Black Knights had taken up positions within the town itself, while every building seemed to have been taken over by British troops.

In the Atlantic meanwhile the Royal Airforce with a squadron of five Tornado Jets launched another attack on the Spanish fleet this time however the two Astute class submarines that had been tracking the fleet as it passed Ireland made their move the subs were state of the art and their Spearfish torpedos headed straight for the Spanish aircraft carrier hoping to score a kill. The Iberians being attacked from the air and sea were in disarray. The Spanish fleet was also now within range of cruise missiles strikes from the British mainland and several were fired hoping to score a kill.

The Iberian fleet had managed to spot the submarines just before they fired and manged to evade one of the torpedo but the other one hit causing server damaged not sinking the ship but slowing it down and damaging it badly. Also the frigate was sunk and damaged the cruiser of the fleet slightly damaged wounding or killing 40 of the Marines on board. Also 7 of the Eurofighter Typhoons and 3 of F-16A's were destroyed but they fended off the British attack once again and manged to limp their way to the safety of Scotland. But now the badly damaged fleet was stuck there and with Britain offering to talk well Iberia decided it may be a good idea to talk.

Another 2,000 men were sent up to if needed assault and recon aircraft scouted it out but while the talks were going on they were ordered to hold position. The diplomat they sent up Oscar Batista had a few things the Iberian government wanted him to get. The things were:

Reparations for the war,
A confirmation that they would not attack the fleet as it returned to Iberia,
For Britain to hand over Gibraltar to Iberia,
And for Britain to back off from the oil rigs.
The last two ones were not all that important or vital and were not necessary for peace but Oscar had been given orders to try hard to get them. But the first two Oscar had been ordered that if Britain did not agree to that then war would continue between Iberia and Britain.
