How to join general assembly

Please help, I'm looking to join the general assembly I'm New to this simulation game

[Bears Armed]

1) In the main menu, click on the 'World Assembly' link: That takes you to the WA's main page.
2) On the WA's main page, click on the 'Apply to Join' button: That makes the game send you a message (by email, I think, but it might be a TG instead: It's been so long since i last changed my own WA membership that I've forgotten...) offering membership in the WA (which is both the GA and the SC).
3) Click on the link in that message to confirm your application & membership.

[The Rhenish League]

2) On the WA's main page, click on the 'Apply to Join' button: That makes the game send you a message (TG? email? It's been so long since i last changed my own WA membership that I've forgotten...) offering membership in the WA (which is both the GA and the SC).
3) Click on the link in that TG to confirm your application & membership.

Email, it is. Make sure you did enter a valid email address you can access in the according field in your settings.
