8/10 Sardinians don't know who owns which part of Africa

Cagliari, Sardinia-Corsica
A survey was conducted to test Sardinians on their knowledge of African politics. It has resulted in 8/10 not knowing who owns which part Africa. In response to this, the Dogs authorized a commission to make a political map for Africa.
An alt-historical nation loosely based on the Philippines and represents my views except for a few misclicks

Nikolai Tesla and Thomas Edison were among two of the engineers the the Rockefeller Corporation imported. Together, with Daimler and Benz from Germany, their portable kerosene electric generator was totally perfected by having an enclosed fuel tank which eliminated the dangers of fire and explosion. Old John D. ordered immediately it into mass production. When the price of it fell from $150.00 to forty five dollars, Electricity soon became the became major source of lighting and power.

To the president of the Boer Republic:

We are offering 5500 of our new electric generators free to you to power hospitals, animal clinics, schools, and fire stations, too. However, we need your help with a matter. Could you please introduce us to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. Our goal is to both convince him we are no threat to his nation and to open trade with his nation, too.
