Apparently, the Zambians suddenly despise the Chinese over "corruption and opposition", according to the Economic Times. Zambian public debt is supposedly around $10.6 billion. The Zambian Prime Minister, Edgar Lungu, has hit right back out at critics over this.

"I implore you to ignore the misleading headlines that seek to malign our relationship with China by mischaracterising our economic cooperation to mean colonialism." Lungu recently told the world. The leader of this, James Lukaku, says this: "I want to bring the attention of the international community the Chinese influence and corruption in Zambia.

I'm curious to know, NS, what is your opinion on the situation?

Anyway, hey, many African countries decided that Chinese imperialism was a-ok because China=/=Europe, now that they have to pay their debts suddenly they don't like the Chinese anymore. Average human behaviour I guess.

The worst part is that nothing will probably be able to end it due to China's combined military and economic strength and the elites in all countries obsession with joining China's economy and are perfectly willing to screw over their own people to do so.
