The Mediterranean Sea, 200 miles off the coast of Cyprus
Aboard the KDS Litchfield
The General was fond of sea travel. He almost joined the navy, in fact. In the end, his parents wishes got the better of him, and he joined the army. Despite not originally liking it, he soon found the army to be his favorite place to work. Not just that, but he found he was good at it too. Now, he was happy. He was on the flagship of the Knessian 1st Fleet, the KDS Litchfield. Surrounding them was a massive amount of troop carriers, containing armies that would soon be let loose across the Holy Land. To keep them safe, they had a large escort of destroyers.
Now, it was time for the famed Major General H.P. Bevington to do his job. He was expecting to meet with the other crusaders on this very ship. He was excited, he had been a devout Christian his entire life, and he always wanted to see the Holy Land. Despite this, he was a gruff man. To his inferiors, he always came off as grumpy. In reality, he was joyous.
He had ordered that all leaders in this Crusade meet him here. It would be best if they coordinated. If they didn't, the whole Crusade could fail. He had some ideas, and he couldn't wait for the others to hear them.
He sat in one of the plush leather chairs in the officer's conference room. An honor guard of sailors stood on deck to pipe the visitors aboard. Aids scrambled about, taking care of the logistical behemoth that this whole event was. He ordered the following telegram sent to all ships that got near the convoy.
To: All ships in range
From: KDS Litchfield, Knessian Navy
