[Taiouan]

Sanfeng. Taiouan has launched its first amphibious assault ship. On September 14, Taiouan officials launched the first Shuilian-class helicopter carrier. The ceremony took place in the navy port of Sanfeng. Among those in attendance were Chancellor Xi Gong, Defense Minister Han Bang and Empress Cixi.

Construction of the Shuilian-class amphibious assault ship, named Shuilian, began in 2016. The ship will be the largest ship in the Imperial Republic's Navy. Displacing 14,500 tons, the ship has a width of thirty-one meters and a length of 199 meters. The Shuilian can also sail at speeds approaching forty-one kilometers per hour.

Representatives of various Russian military units take part in a spectacular Victory Day parade in Red Square, Andros. The New Russian Federation celebrates the 1991 victory of the Russian Civil War on every 22nd of September, honoring those who fought and died in the Civil War. This year new fighter jets, tanks, and missiles were a display of military might and national unity to the international spectators.

"Thankyou, Rebbeca. In a press conference this morning the CEO of TAI announced that they had been given clearence to open a factory in Willonia. TAI, one of the largest Automobile manufacturers in the world, have said their reason for this is to expand to the Willionian and Wartopan market. Not only this, but it will create thousands of jobs in whichever area the factory site is selected. TAI and the Central Ministry of Industry, Business and Employment are working closely together to find a perfect site for both the company and the local community. Most likely, a MIBE spokesperson stated, the factory will be located in the City and State of Abcount, Willonia's second largest city, due to the rising unemployment rate in some of the communities there. Otherwise, it could be in one of the Nortuern cities, Hull or Norden, or even in the Capital, Williut. Once a location is announced, Willonia Today will let you know. TAI opens first offshore production sites

Sanfeng. Taiouan Automotive Industries (TAI), headquartered in Donggang is opening its first two offshore production sites in New Russiya and Willonia. While the factory in Yuri, New Russiya is dedicated to serve the growing acerian market, the new factory in Willonias city of Abcount will be the next step in conquering the waropean market, the CEO of TAI stated in a press conference today. The CEO also confirmed, that there are talks with the government of Transrockiana to open a factory in North Auroria, after similar talks with Couvertia failed before. It was also confirmed, that it is planned to open a factory in Tezcala, but these talks are in an early stage yet.

Taiouan Airlines expands service

Sanfeng. Taiouan Airlines is expanding its service to new focus cities all around Small Globe. The new destinations, especially for business flyers are Ville d'Emeraude in Couvertia, Andros and Yuri in New Russiya, Wiliut in Willonia, Quetzanuatla in Tezcala and New San Francisco in Transrockiana. The last two mentioned are also major tourist destinations.

The LBC (Basketball League of Couvertia) is preparing for their season to start next month, and has launched a new initiative as part of the Basketball Without Borders program. 6 teams will travel to 3 different countries for a week, and will begin the trip helping out the local communities of the chosen cities doing charity work, and interacting with the local populace, they will then visit some historic sites of the chosen cities, and at the end of their stay, each of the teams will play against a local team, and then against another team from Couvertia serving as an international showcase of the LBC, and as the beginning of the preseason. The 3 cities that will host the teams have yet to be announced.

To further Couvertia's international reach, the teams will also each be accompanied by a musical act from Couvertia. The trip is aimed at building cultural ties with other nations. The teams and musical acts are as follows:

Politics
The CAE has arranged a meeting between the leaders of various Communist and Socialist parties and organizations throughout the world. The meeting will be hosted by Premier Michel Rainville himself, as Chairman Pierre Couillard is currently out of the country. The meeting is aimed at international solidarity and for Couvertia to aid the worker's movements in other nations. The CAE is also setting up a tour of the country for foreign journalists.

Economy
The CPE (Committee for Economic Planning) has begun preparation for the fourth 4-year plan, with a focus on development on urban agriculture, increased regional specialization, increasing energy and transportation efficiency and research into 3D printing technology. The BPE Chairwoman, Évelyne Lemieux, has also announced a new emphasis on trade, and on furthering economic interaction with other nations.

Entertainment
Visionary director René Montcalm has announced his next film's title, "Dilemme du Hérisson", about a group of college students, during their senior year. The script is finished, and the shooting is to begin in October. The #1 film in theaters at the moment remains, for the third week in a row, "Albatros" by director Sacha Olivier. The band Les Muets released their 4th album, "Mauvais Voyage", to much critical acclaim, and currently hold the #1 album. On a more somber note, singer Anita Valois has passed away after a decade long battle with cancer at the age of 78. She will be remembered for her commitment to helping people, and for her hit songs, "Caméléon" and "À Quoi Bon?" and her 1968 concept album "Une Rose en Hiver".

SUCCESSFUL THERMAL NUCLEAR TESTING HELLBRIUS OCTOBER 8TH, 2018

At 14:09 Andros Time, the New Russian Federation had conducted it's first successful thermal nuclear detonation test. The warhead was named Hellbrius. Hellbrius's yield was 15 megatons of TNT, 2.5 times the predicted 6.0 megatons, radioactive contamination of areas is expected to be contained at the southern Elbrus Mountains. A dome that will enclose ground zero is expected to be constructed to help decrease radioactive contamination. The Kremlin has stated that "it is important for our nation to have in possession of such weapon during these unpredictable times. Having these WMDs promote deterrence from any foreign entity that seeks to destroy of our way of life." Quote President Vladimir Andros Hoang.

(PPA) Neuberlitz. A historic day for the Democratic Republic of Pruszia! In an open election at the People's Chamber this Wednesday, 34 year old Communist Party's Magda Koschinsky was elected Chairwoman of the State Council. Koschinsky is the first woman to be elected as Head of Government. After being appointed as Chairwoman of the Communist Party by the Party's Executive Committee last week, this is the second big triumph of the popular politician.

In her Opening speech, Koschinsky announced further reforms of the political and electoral system and a stricter interpretation of worker's rights. Koschinsky, herself married to a woman, aims to further improve the civil rights situation especially for homosexuals but also for immigrants. Her foreign policy program includes an increase of foreign aid and trade facilitations with neighboring nations.
