I have something much better in mind, actually.

Guess I should have tempered my own posts. No, I'd like to retract my statement of "censor the authoritarians." De-platforming them and getting people to de-associate with them and making it as unprofitable as possible for companies to be linked to them is acceptable, short of actually censoring and imprisoning them (which I don't actually advocate).

best I can describe my ideology is with a Kaiserreich reference. Totalism, which is basically just a more hardline and authoritarian bend on Syndicalism.

Isn't that the dude who made his dog do a Nazi salute? Yeah, no, fuck that guy. "Hahaha, I'm gonna make my dog do the salute of a regime that murdered millions of people and caused one of the deadliest wars in human history! What a silly joke, I'm so funny!"
Excuse me for not being a teenage edgelord, but I don't find the systematic murder of millions of people based on their "race" (as well as religious and political beliefs) to be particularly fucking funny.

oh so you're bedfellows with KRTL Moseley and Mussolini, and that one Georgian dude who was aligned with Stalin in OTL

Reminder, the literal goddamn Nazis didn't persecute someone for training his dog to do the Nazi salute on command. They considered it, but decided it wasn't necessary to press charges against Tor Borg and his dog Jackie.
It's obvious, from the example given by Borg, that Dankula was making fun of the German Reich and not congratulating it, which is corroborated by his statements saying (paraphrasing here) that "wouldn't it be funny to make a cute thing do the least cute thing imaginable?".Torrocca wrote:

That bike lock guy caused grievous harm to someone, tho, because it turns out that shit heavy and can fuck up a cranium

Besides that, censorship is a dangerous road to go down, and not worth the risk. Especially not for any type of "libertarian" where a nebulous entity having the ability to silence others is generally frowned upon.
I'm pretty certain that censoring Nazism is a thing most leftists can comfortably agree on.
Byzconia wrote:Given that plenty of Western democracies have implemented hate speech laws and have yet to descend into Stalinist repression, this borders on a slippery slope fallacy.
Byzconia wrote:"Everyone who disagrees with me just refuses to see the obvious objective reality!"
But I'll bite, what's the "evident difference."

On the other hand, as fucked up as walloping a person with a Bike-Lock of Mass Destruction is, that was one person over two years ago, whereas in that time frame we have multiple cases of far-right extremists going on mass-murder sprees.

Licana on the M-21A2 MBT: "Well, it is one of the most badass tanks on NS."
Vortiaganica: Lamoni I understand fully, of course. The two (Lamoni & Lyras) are more inseparable than the Clinton family and politics.
Triplebaconation: Lamoni commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Mandela of NS.
