A failed Ballistic missile test reveals that Thuzbekistan is attempting to build its own ballistic missiles. While nuclear capabilities are far outside their sights, Thuzbekistan has been making chemical weapons for decades now. The Thuzbek Government hopes that this will be enough to ward off attackers in the face of declining superiority at sea and of sanctions in the league. Gunay, the director of the program, simply hopes it will work.


In structure, this will be an espionage RP. Here, various nations will attempt to hinder the program by either direct targeting of the scientists or the program itself, the release of reports to sway popular opinion even in Thuzbekistan against the program, or simple old fashioned assassinations. I'm going to be adding more structure to this as I put out news posts. The RP will really begin once the IRA2018 is passed. The Conservative Party leader is a leaking kind of man. He's been working with the Osters for years now, but once he gets the information, the whole of the government will be PO'ed. While Ostehaar will definitely get priority, any other interested nations could get their hands on a load of classified information through him. But once the information is released, you will have to get to him before the National Police do.

Ostehaar, I think, would be the one to retrieve him before the National Police could catch up. Who he gives that info to will be his choice. However, the Islamic Socialist Party will be ready to leak it as well. He will just need the right convincing. Character Profiles will be up soon.

So basically this Rp is going to be a political thread for Thuzbekistan as its inner politicians dig through the steaming pile of BS the Cihangir administration has been pushing for. Emin Vedat is interested in the information about Orsandia while Arshlon has other intentions. The other party leaders are along for the ride at this point.

I have to go in a few minutes and then work until tomorrow evening, so I'll just give a short list of ideas, some of which would probably end up in a post in the newt few days:
- Introduction of my field agents in Thuzbekistan and their network of operations and intelligence
- Some high-level meeting (PM, ministers, security heads, etc.) about the missile program
- POV of my intelligence agencies as they work around the leak and its consequences

It's been months since I made this, but here we go: Ballistic Missile Program Revealed

My party heads, particularly conservative party head Arshlon Valmacid. He has been disgruntled with the Cinhangir and Vedat governments ever since his entrance into politics. He has also been the prime suspect of previous leaks. He will be being watched and trying to release information to bring down the system he is a part of.

The timeline of this RP will be roughly this:

1. The missiles get leaked
2. Knowing that these guys have more info, foreign agencies try to get a hold of it. Almost all go for Arshlon, but any party head is fine. However, Arshlon and other party heads are being closely watched and investigation. Trying to get any party head before they are caught is critical.
3. The leaked info gets back to whatever country secured some information. this has drastic affects back home and will make trying to get others to give info even harder.

I'd do that but I want to read a few more of your posts about it to get the hang of things. I'll concentrate on the Oster side for now.

Ok. Just to let you know, time has changed how I view this RP. We kinda skipped the whole "fighting for info" before I leaked on the news, so I'll post some more in the thread and in the news before I do anything else.

Once again, sorry for how slow this is, but I want to build up the environment and all.
