The US sided with Saudi Arabia; but not because of oil, because it's a vital ally against Iraq and Iran. I personally side with Canada, as the Saudi government kinda denounced Canada while at the same time they were crucifying someone, so...

I don't think he's Saudi, but I think you'd be wrong to say that the Saudi government doesn't have the support of its population.

Yeah, because if they wouldn't support the government, the latter would blow their minds!
What if Democratic Russia and Syndicalist France, Britain and the US(CSA?) won the second world war AFTER Germany won the first?
Well, don't ask me, I'm trying to imagine how it would work out.
Russiyskaya Respublica is most def too long and too much of a mouthful, so, just call me Russia or Russian Republic, officially though it's "Russian Federal Republic".

Well, while SA is part of the UNHRC while having just crucified a man in Mecca, perhaps it's time for Trudeau to pull out another one of his diversity extraordinaire moves by appearing in a gender segregated mosque in a burka, and saying how Muhammad was the first feminist, and announce the Canadian Caliph.

Hopefully this will be what motivates the west to use whatever oil they still have to power the manufacturing of solar collectors, wind turbines, and hydroelectric dams.

If we did energy east instead, that'd do fuckall for us once the prairies run low enough on oil for prices to go up anyway. We need renewable energy ASAP.

How do we know this? Because the first step toward Communism is Socialism, and none of the aforementioned are even remotely Socialist in any way, shape, or form.

Eh, I doubt that this will motivate the West to do anything about using what oil we have to manufacture the things used for renewable energy.

If millions of pages won't convince them, I doubt that this squabble will, especially since the oil exporters can always increase their prices to benefit from this spat.

Emphasis mine. What are you referring to?

However now Opec has joined Saudi Arabia and they are going to end trade with anyone who trades with Canada.
