The multiverse is a strange place. Infinite universes and the galaxies within lie in almost isolated compartments. Heroes and villains, buffoons and geniuses, demons and monsters, live and die each day without knowing each other. Sometimes, this is subject to change. It's not unknown for the matrix of the multiverse to shift into never seen dimensions, reach away in its most obscure meanders, and bring together the most different stories and the most unlikely protagonists.
The multiverse has many criteria. Sometimes it brings together great heroes of the sword and martial arts to battle villains in the name of friendship. Sometimes, it collects the kindest souls and frilly dressed princesses to preserve the power of love against encroaching darkness.
Much often, however, the multiverse feels the raw impetus of HOT BLOOD and brings forward metallic paladins from all its corners. Even the most unthinkable ones.
Their weapons are many, their will iron, coming from worlds devastated by alien invasions, interstellar wars and giant monster incursions. But the greatest thing keeping them together, is their shared destiny:
To be a pilot.
The Dimensional Quakes
Maybe you where defending White Base from an enemy incursion and found yourself fighting ships that were alien to the Federation databases, and the giants piloting them.
Maybe you had just launched from Nerv HQ, expecting a fearsome Angel to show up, only to be greeted by reptilian roar and a breath of pure atom.
Maybe your Valkyrie had just departed from the Super Dimension Fortress expecting to encounter Zentradi forces, only to be greeted by gas-masked robots.
Your diabolical nemesis, the world ending threats you faced? Coalized with villains and monsters you had never heard off, whose powers you cannot challenge alone.
And it's there that you realize, when the white-framed robot next to you deploys its laser sword, or when the weird machine to your side revs up its gigantic drill, that you just gained lifelong companions in this epic struggle.
The Super Robot Wars have begun.
Suggested Mecha Series
The robots of the multiverse are many, and varied. Some are called Super, due to their awesome abilities that defy the logic of some universes. Some are called Real, war machines proven in decades of battle. Some are not even humanoid automatas: starships soaring the voids of many a story.
The following series are SERIES THAT OP WOULD ENJOY TO SEE REPRESENTED IN THE ROLEPLAY. Feel free to propose and add your own franchise and characters with the specific app form.
Super Robot Rules
- As OP I reserve supreme authority over this RP.
- RP samples are required except from people whom I have invited via TG or Discord.
- Bad behavior in the OOC will be punished according to how bad the behavior was.
- Godmodding will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Godmodding is Treason, Treason is punishable by death.
- Try to stay active in the OOC as well as the IC, and TG me if you won't be able to post for a while.
- I expect everyone to make posts of decent quality. Try for longer posts, though for dialogue you can keep it short.
- Keep it PG-13, or else. Swearing is permissible, violence is permissible, but it has to stay PG-13.
- This RP operates on a three-strike system. Three strikes and you're out - something I don't want to have to do, really.
