Of Ships and Kanmusu: A Kancolle RP (Rebooted) OOC

Postby Higher Japan » Tue Jul 17, 2018 3:33 am

Hast thou not gone against sincerity?
Hast thou not felt ashamed of thy words and deeds?
Hast thou not lacked vigor?
Hast thou exerted all possible efforts?
Hast thou not become slothful?

Everyone knew the story, what had happened. For centuries and millenniums mankind ruled the waves, never asking what truly laid within the depths of the ocean, content with simply proving maritime supremacy over anything that set sail into the open sea. However, man had a fear of the depths, fear of what it hid. And of course, they came. A decade ago, the first abyssals rose from the depths. Every nation's navy, big or small was tested. None survived the battles. Harbors were all laid siege upon, now nothing but rubble as humanity clings onto it's last hope: The Kanmusu

Humans, infused with the power and spirit of ships long gone, now stand as the last hope for humanity. Fighting not for pride, nor for fame, but for the fate of humanity.

Operational briefing: Operational Sector Ark Circle - North
Your story will begin on a small base in an area of the world known as the Ark Circle, said island being home to nearly all northern operations of the kanmusu, operating in the OSAC-N for short. The sector may well be one of humanity's most well equipped bases, holding out as the sole bulwark against the northern abyssal installations and forces. So far, the base has been engaged in bloody skirmishes and battles with the abyssals, resulting in certain losses. However, with the winter letting up and high command's new vigor with faith in the weather, operations have begun to pick up, and soon it may decide the fate of humanity. Welcome to The operational sector Ark Circle North, the coldest assignment you'll ever have.

Taken from the previous RP's OP:
"Hello and welcome a rather special, if I may say so myself, Kantai Collection Roleplay here on NS!
Now, what is Kantai Collection, or KanColle for short? A japanese browser game developed by Kadokawa Games and online since 2013. Centered around the building of squadrons of naval vessels of the WW2-timeframe and sending them onto missions against the aforementioned Abyssals, it is the Admiral's/Player's job to organize and lead this fleet - of moe anthropomorphisms of World War II naval warships. The game features, in usual Japanese fashion, first and foremost the vessels of the IJN, although, as of late, other vessels of the time were added, including a very few allied vessels."

For more details I'd recommend looking at the Wikia

Now of course like the last RP for people that have been in there, you will not be playing as any pre-established ships. Instead, you'll make your own ships in the application and play anthropomorphisms of them, based off your own nation or, for the first time, other nations that may exist within your world.

IC: Up and running here~

Discord: We'll see if it gets enough traction, I'll put up a poll for it
(The Gosei at the top is by Vice Admiral Hajime Matsushita, Chief of the IJN Academy. It is the first few words said in the anime and on occasion quoted.)

Unlike comfier deployments such as the OSWS-SW bases in tropical paradises, this is a hard place to live. The base runs under a Kanmusu, perhaps the only sector to run in this fashion. This is the only base where ships can deploy within the Ark Circle, built to dislodge the Abyssal influence in the area and clear the northern flank that leads them to humanity.

Climate wise the base is the complete opposite of southern deployments. For starters, although the sun is out the weather is always freezing and has caused ice sheets to form on the surface of the water. At night it gets worse with a chance of snowstorms and morning fog the next day blocking night operations. However, if you're lucky the northern lights will light it up enough to allow for operations.

However, despite how cold and hellish it may seem this is one of the most well equipped bases to exist under humanity's control. The inside of buildings are insulated and heated, the repair baths have been pushed inland to prevent contact with the freezing waters, and it is equipped with it's own docks and supply bunkers. With a string of installations and 2 airfields systematically patrolling the coast when permitted, the base has pushed back any attempts to dislodge it. The base also has several dorm buildings, administrative headquarters and a mess hall. The base is stocked with everything from medicine for illnesses caused by low temperatures to paint for winter camouflage and winter foods.

Your mission here will be to secure the sector and eliminate all abyssal presence

General Rules:
    1. As a general rule of thumb that most RPs follow, god modding and meta gaming of any sorts will not be tolerated. No, you cannot torp an installation down to 0 health and no your ship cannot survive a full barrage form an enemy fleet if you're out on solo expedition. However, for the second example if you can explain why and me and Selkie if they want to be op or co-op will most likely let it fly depending.

    2. Don't be a douchebag OOC. We've had this problem before concerning ships, speed and time frame in which they were built. If you have a problem with someone's ship or wish to clarify on their design please TG them or DM them on the discord instead of taking it out on the OOC. I'll be taking this very seriously because of the last incident but friendly debate will be allowed OOC.

    3. Of course inevitably, you sink a shipgirl you sink it forever. Sorry but in the interest of balance and in order to prevent people from doing dumb shit there will be nothing that can bring your ship back. OOC wise it'll be struck as sunk. However, since in game it is possible to rebuild ships this may be overruled with a new condition.

Character and RP rules:
    1. Like the last one, we'll have a maximum of 6 characters. If you wish to take all 6 you must have at least 1 support vessel among them.
However do note that in the interest of balance and in order to prevent an easy victory battleships and carriers are limited to 6 only and after the number has been reached they'll be off limits. Light carriers and heavy cruisers however are allowed but to be warned that this is due to the ice sheets on the surface. There'll be a limit on light carriers and heavy cruisers if needed as well, players are recommended to use lighter ships for this RP. Those taking heavier ships must note that maneuvering will be difficult
Amendment made:The capital ships limit and ban has been removed, however this will be reinforced whenever I see fit. Refer to this post for more details

      2. We'll be allowing ships built only during 1900-1950, of all sizes up to the previously stated limitations.
However, concerning what is allowed and what isn't generally nothing nuclear, magic based or beyond the time period. If your world already has nuclear ships by then they're sadly not allowed in the RP for balance

      3. All characters will be living in the dormitories, no exceptions unless appealed with valid reason. 2 capitals per room, 4 Cruisers per room light and heavy and 6 destroyers per room will be the system used. The exception is that boys and girls remain separate, regardless of relation to each other. (We'll deal with ship marriage when it comes obviously)

      4. While you're having fun thinking of technical descriptions for your ships and what they can or cannot do please do note that:
-They cannot have anything within modern standards, missiles, VLS and railguns etc.
-A technical description of the vessel and it's history should be included, even a few sentences will suffice.
-Please try to make it reasonable. A 20,000 ton destroyer just doesn't make any sense even if you make it high or wide. This'll be important because of the ban.
-Try to include details of any add ons such as aircraft if they're original and if you're a landing ship try to add sentences on their ground crew.

      5. Concerning upgrades and Kai Ni, we will allow them once the app for it has been approved.

      6. We will not have any official ship vs ship fight between the kanmusu. However if you wish to do it please do consult the other side first.

      7. When the real thing starts and combat begins, do note that combat will not follow the standard style of the game. Instead, you'll be allowed to act independently but be warned that doing so irrationally might be catastrophic, even resulting in sinking if it goes too far. As such teamwork and communication will be important in securing victory. Technical descriptions won't really play much of a role and abyssal v kanmusu combat will occur mainly in events and patrols if done.

      8. You will not be allowed to have your ships contact their nation of origin

      9. If you've read all the rules please put 'Anker Auf!' in the 'Have you read and understand the rules section'. Do not hesitate to ask me anything on the rules.

Important note: Abyssal ships will become available at a later date.

So far no map has been established by high command/I've been having some difficulty getting one or making one.

The general idea is that the base will be on a square based map, base being at the lower left corner with a small section of ocean spreading out from it before ice sheets cover majority of the area with some breaks allowing smaller ships to move in. However there are larger breaks allowing for heavier ships to move in. The enemy base is located deep within the ice. Your objective will be to destroy the slightly North-Eastern abyssal stronghold

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: Higashikawa
Type: Command vessel/light cruiser
Class: Higashikawa class command vessels
Role: Commander of fleet operations, currently admiral of the northern base
Nation of origin: Originally a ship of the Royal Federation and Imperial Navy, later transferred over to the Imperial Higher Japanese Navy
Year commissioned: 1940
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Here, although he does have a headband similar to the ones used by the Yamatos and is usually seen in a military uniform of an admiral in a darker green army color scheme.
Gender: Male
Character: Strict and adherent to nearly every rule within the admiralty's rule book, Higashikawa originally embodied perfect ideals of the navy, strict and obedient with no question. However, after his rise to the rank of admiral of the northern command base he doesn't enforce many of the strict rules enforced and has taken a rather progressive stance over the traditional stance held by the navy. However in combat he does still uphold the high standard of Imperial command, and his command staff is a testament to his focus on training and strict discipline during battle.
Special abilities:
With his career being primarily located at the rear lines, he is capable of managing nearly 3 fleets at the same time with his staff and equipment
Technical Description of the vessel:
A ship originally built under the alliance between Higher Japan and the Royal Federation, Higashikawa is the embodiment of cooperative work between the federation and empire during peace time. Built with it's hull based off of the previous Kokai class heavy cruisers, the ship was designed to be able to accommodate a full fleet command staff and all the radio equipment needed for messages to smoothly flow between 3 fleets, and Higashikawa was the product of this need. Of course, this had come at a heavy cost of him being only armed with anti-air weapons.

When war broke out against the Federation, Higashikawa then had been under Higher Japanese ownership and was used to intercept federation messages with her hybrid mix of federation and imperial radio systems. This had helped the navy in ensuring multiple victories, eventually forcing the federation to sue for peace. During his service he also saw action against the outclassed and outdated western kingdom as a command vessel for ground forces. Today, Higashikawa stands as one of the survivors of the war into modern day, and was where the Midway Peace treaty had been signed between the two nations following reconciliation and a change from a traditional military government to a civilian democracy. He now lives on as a museum ship.
Technical Data
Displacement: 8,500 tons
Length (overall): 200 meters
Width: 17 meters
Draught: 6 meters
Propulsion: 4 shaft, 130,000 SHP max
Speed: 35 knots max
Complement: 850 officers and sailors
Armament:
30 x 25 mm triple barreled anti-air machine guns
10 x 25 mm single barreled anti air machine guns
4 x 100 mm double barreled anti air cannons
Armour:
Belt: 60 mm
Deck: 30 mm
Notes: This is the second ship to be called Higashikawa, the first being an anti-air cruiser. However both do share many similar design aspects. His bridge also covers most of his mid ship section, extending out into a command room for fleet staffs to use

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: UCN Amaryyi
Type: Super-heavy battleship
Class: Iperikas-class super-heavy battleship
Role: Flagship, heavy battleship support
Nation of origin: Sleetavia
Year commissioned: 1943
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: This, minus the rifle
Image

Gender: Female
Character: Generally easygoing and friendly to those who would be friendly back. She is sociable and gets on well with most people. However, in battle her demeanor turns to that of an eager warrior who takes great joy in ripping the enemies of Sleetavia to pieces, whether that be with long range artillery fire or with her bare hands. In some situations, she can even lose control of herself when in the middle of a battle, especially when surrounded on all sides by enemies. Out of battle she shows none of this bloodlust, and is (usually) very easy to approach and get to know. But there is always that underlying lust for the fires of conflict in her heart
Special abilities: Due to once having been in the middle of a major battle against the Japanese in WWII, in moments of extreme duress Amaryyi is able to somewhat dull the pain of being hit out, allowing her to fight on with injuries that would leave other battleships unable to continue.
Technical Description of the vessel: Amaryyi and her sisters were built as a response to rumors of the construction of Japanese super-battleships with guns exceeding 18 inches. The Iperikas-class, first and foremost, were built with massive fleet actions in mind, and their armor was designed to withstand even their own guns. They were also crammed with as many anti-air and secondary guns as possible, due to several designers foreseeing the aircraft carrier taking the role of the battleship. However, this did not stop the Iperikas battleships being in several major battles when war broke out with the Japanese in 1940, and in those battles their designs were proven fruitful.

After the war, all four battleships continued to serve Sleetavia in further conflicts such as the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf wars. Today, they are even modernized and overhauled with newer weaponry, and although they may be museums, all four battleships continue to stand ready to once more take the fight to the enemies of Sleetavia.
Technical Data

Notes: The last ship in the Iperikas family of super-battleships, designed to take on the Japanese Yamato-class. Named after a province in Sleetavia, as are all Sleetavian battleships. Somewhat similar in appearances to said Yamato-class battleships, but lacks the bow curve of their Japanese counterparts.

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: FNS Glorious

Type: Battlecruiser

Class: Expedition Class Large Cruiser

Role: Bombardment/Cruiser hunter/Fast carrier escort

Nation of origin: Federal Union of Fantrum

Year commissioned: 1945

Image or description of the ship girl/boy:
Image

Her rig is painted in the navy Measure 16

Gender: Female

Character: Preferring to go by Glory instead of her full name, she is gracious and views girls of lesser tonnage as her little sisters and wishes to protect them, though she treats battleships with barely concealed distrust as a result of her wartime experience. She has a strong relationship with her sisters Expedition and Honorable, having served with the former and fought a last stand with the latter. She also has a special bond with FNS Nightingale, a carrier she fought to protect from her commissioning to her last moments. During combat she tends to be selfless with regard to her own well being while on occasion being overbearing about her fellow Kanmusu. Her favorite food is hotdogs, and she loves baseball.
Special abilities: To the last Shell! As she takes damage, her weapon reload times decrease. This is in reference to the ferocious last stand she fought side by side with Honorable against a much stronger enemy fleet

Technical Description of the vessel: Technically a Large Cruiser, Glorious was constructed to fill a niche in a time of desperation. Having neither the time nor the materials readily available for the construction of a full battleship, the navy opted for a smaller ship protected from the fire of 10 in shells while sporting 12 in guns herself. In effect, they produced a cruiser killer that couldnt stand against larger battleships. As their enemy employed battleship's sparingly and cruisers much more, this was thought to be a reasonable compromise. However, by the time she entered service, the dire need for ships of her type had passed and several battleships were nearing completion, causing the cancellation of the fifth ship in her class. While she lacks extensive underwater protection against torpedoes and rounds falling short of the actual ship, she is nearly impervious to all cruiser caliber weaponry, and her main battery is capable of punishing any ship her size and under, though she struggles with larger targets. Her anti air suite is also very effective, combining radar guided 5 inch shells with sheets of forty millimeter flak to become a deadly fleet escort. Of the four completed ships, two were lost in battle, Honorable and Glorious, two would later serve in other wars and undergo extensive refits into missile cruisers before eventually being struck from the naval registry. One example, FNS Exploration, is still in service with a foreign navy, while FNS Expedition is on display as a museum ship in Brookstone. Together the Expedition sisters accounted for 35 battle stars and numerous ships sunk

Technical Data
Displacement: 34,253 long tons Fully loaded
Length (overall): 808 ft 6 in
Width: 91 ft 9 in
Draught: 27 ft 1 in
Propulsion: 4-shaft General Electric steam turbines, double-reduction gearing, 8 Babcock & Wilcox boilers
Speed: 33 knots
Complement: 1,799
Armament: 9 × 12-inch (305 mm)/50 caliber Mark 8 guns (3 × 3)
12 × 5-inch (127 mm)/38 caliber dual-purpose guns (6 × 2)
56 × 40 mm (1.57 in) Bofors (14 × 4)
34 × 20mm Oerlikon (34 × 1)
Armour: Main side belt: 9 in (230 mm) gradually thinning to 5 in (130 mm)
Armor deck: 3.8–4 in (97–102 mm)
Weather (main) deck: 1.4 in (36 mm)
Splinter (third) deck: 0.625 in (15.9 mm)
Barbettes: 11–13 in (280–330 mm)
Turrets: 12.8 in (330 mm) face, 5 in (130 mm) roof, 5.25–6 in (133–152 mm) side and 5.25 in (133 mm) rear.
Conning tower: 10.6 in (270 mm) with 5 in (130 mm) roof
Notes: The Expedition class of large cruisers were ordered in 1940, following a perceived need counter new and better cruisers being produced by the Velstadoain navy. At the time of their ordering, the war of Aggression had been raging for two years already, having been started with the Velstado declaration of War, and the Fantrum Navy was feeling a desperate need for ships. To facilitate this, as well as to meet new threats, the Dynamic Navy Act was passed. The aim of the act was to construct smaller ships, which could be built faster, to fill certain roles. It was deemed that a full sized battleship was not needed to escort carrier groups or to kill enemy cruisers, thus, the Expedition class was born. Glorious was the third ship in a class of five and she was built using lessons learned from her predecessors including the use of a fire computer and radar. By the time of her completion, the Fantrum navy had advanced across much of the Southern Ocean and was poised to begin decisive naval operations against the Velstado homeland. Glorious fought in several battles with her sister Expedition as part of Task Force 33, which included the carrier FNS Nightingale. Glorious was lost with 659 of her crew on August 9th 1947 during the battle of Hope's Bay. During this battle Glorious was credited for sinking three heavy cruisers, a destroyer, downing several aircraft, and crippling a Velstado Battleship in a duel. She met her end while escorting FNS Nightingale and several other wounded ships out of the combat area, where she acted as rearguard with her sister Honorable to rout a much stronger enemy force. The two ships succeeded in deterring the enemy, however, Glorious was a smoking ruin and Honorable's pumps couldnt stay ahead of her flooding. Survivors were picked up by picket destroyers before Glorious's hulk was scuttled with Torpedoes. Glorious' career ended with 11 battle stars, the most of her sisters.

Normally I'd give the benefit of doubt since I know you from the last one but based on the specifications.. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to say no because of the excessive tonnage and the fact that it's slightly too OP. Of course if you'd like to appeal please TG me.

Good evening,
Alright... this is going to be fun! I'm gonna start out with three lassies, leaving three slots for later additions. Sending a cruiser up north is (currently) not planned. ; )

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: SDFAS Imeall.
Type: Destroyer Tender.
Class: Leaba-class.
Role:
Provide maintenance, supplies and support to a flotilla of destroyers or other small warships (with emphasis on the smaller warships, see below).
Nation of origin: The Free Lands of the Selkie.
Year commissioned: 1921.
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: A stark contrast to her sister, that's for sure.
Gender: Female.
Character:
Icy cold, rarely smiling, never satisfied, an Ice Queen by the definition of the term. Many had tried to defrost her, but she never budged. But after a few glasses of whiskey, she is a singer with a voice clear as glass.
Special abilities:
The Ice Queen's Aria: Imeall can use her voice for echolocation, not beneath the waves as an active sonar, but above it, kind of like a bat. That way, she can detect obstacles, enemies and sometimes even raise the morale of the own forces - for the disadvantage for being locateable by everyone with two working ears.
Technical Description of the vessel:
Technical Data
Displacement: 13,000 tons full load
Length (overall): 148 m
Width: 19.2 m
Draught: 7.4 m
Propulsion: Geared Turbines
Speed: 15 knots max
Complement: 750 sailors and officers
Armament: 6x 20mm AA guns, 1x 76mm gun
Armour: None.
Notes: Support ship, specialized in small watercraft
The Leaba-class of Destroyer Tenders was one of the most underestimated ships in the history of the SDF-Navy, mainly because it didn't feature, what people usually associate with mighty warships. She neither had big guns, nor aircraft, not massive arrays of torpedo tubes... what she had were the workshops and facilities to support, supply and maintain a small division of torpedo boats or a flotilla of destroyers, including more tasking repair jobs.
In their time, the SDF-Navy built three of these vessels, Leaba, Ámóg, the legendary Mommy Amy, and Imeall, the Queen of the Northern Islands.
From the start of her career in 1921, she was used in the Northern Island Area, with her homeport being Rua, the northernmost post of any SDF-Navy Vessel (and today homeport of the Northern Island Constabulary). She was the Naval Base there until there was a real one built in 1933-1936, securing these waters with the help of three torpedo boats from any danger. From the get-go, she was adapted to the climate, with her doors being small air-locks, heaters and other amenities, which other ships didn't receive. She was used in many cases to help ships in emergency situations and to supply communities, which no other ship would dare to set sail for.
In 1936, for the Opening of the Rua Port (to which a small Naval Base was attached almost as an afterthought), she participated in a Rally between vessels of the SDF-Navy and Freighters planned to reach that port, from Silverport to Rua over Conall Curach. While in second place, the leading vessel (a freighter named Mudskipper broke down. Imeall, and her crew, could easily have won the race, but instead decided to stop and aid the vessel, taking her under tow and finishing second to last. This earned her the title of the Queen of the Northern Islands (and Mudskipper a longer stay in the shipyard).
In 1940, she was refitted, but unlike her sisters, there was not a single AA-gun more, instead she lose her entire complement of six 20mm machine cannons for four 40mm AA-guns, loosing none of her capabilities.
Until her planned retirement in 1990, she participated in a number of operations, including the cover-operation for Operation Summer Sun during the Second Vellenge War in 1983.
When she on her last cruise, under tow, the Queen of the Northern Islands tore free of her ropes just north of the Arctic Circle in a storm, lost ever since. From time to time, sailors in the area report seeing her, cruising along the less-travelled routes for any vessel in emergency. Others say, that she is sunk by now.
Whichever is true, SDFAS Imeall has a reputation as large as her sisters'.

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: SDFS Sionnach Oighir, close friends being allowed to call her Foxy.
Type: Oceangoing Torpedo Boat.
Class: Grey Wolf class.
Role:
To ruin people's days with torpedoes and mines.
Nation of origin: The Free Lands of the Selkie.
Year commissioned: 1927.
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Including dress, ears and plushie (although that will stay safe during operations).
Gender: Female.
Character:
Shy and elusive, this oceangoing torpedo boat is a person rarely seen on base without her plushie, Clúmhach, and in battle, one will have trouble spotting her as well - mostly because she's in the process of dropping a load of mines along the enemy's retreating routes or torpedoes into their rear. She is studious, loves to read, but not exactly an Einstein. Ironically enough, she is close friends with Tine.
Special abilities:
I mine you!:[/u] Foxy's Mines are many, numerous and even more. And they make boom. And boom makes hurt. Don't try to pass along a route Foxy has taken without her.
Technical Description of the vessel:
Technical Data
Displacement: 1,100 tons full load
Length (overall): 89 m
Width: 8.2 m
Draught: 2.8 m
Propulsion: 2 water tube boilers, 2 turbines, 2 shafts
Speed: 29.5 knots, 14 knots cruise
Complement: 115 sailors
Armament:
    2x 135mm guns, Gabha G-91 Mark II
    3x 40mm AA-guns,
    8x 533mm torpedo tubes (4x2),
    50 naval mines
Armour: None
Notes:
In the first concepts of a naval defense of the Free Lands, the SDF-Navy would lure the enemy close to shore and sink them with torpedoes, mines and by ramming, if necessary. With old police boats as the SDF-Navy's first equipment, that was not too surprising, but the SDF-Navy suspected, they would go down with their flags flying high.
In 1922, with the Naval Armament Programme, the situation changed dramatically, the first weapon becoming torpedoes and new ships being planned and laid down - one of the first ones, which were laid down, were the twelve Oceangoing Torpedo Boats of the Grey Wolf class, the first being launched in 1925.
In 1927, [i]SDFS Sionnach Oighir, named after an elusive cousin of the Curly Mountain Fox endemic to the Northern Islands, was launched. She operated together with Imeall for most of her career (until the White Vixen, as she was called, was decomissioned in 1958), patrolling the waters of the Northern Islands for ships in need of assistance, pirate vessels and, on several occassions, as a vessel for scientific research.
Equipped for the Cold North much like it's Queen, SDFS Sionnach Oighir did her assigned tasks with success, even sinking two enemy vessels (not necessarily warships, as they were more armed boarding steamers) during the Carraig Incident.

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: SDFS Tine.
Type: Oceangoing Torpedo Boat.
Class: Grey Wolf class.
Role:
To ruin people's days with torpedoes and mines.
Nation of origin: The Free Lands of the Selkie.
Year commissioned: 1927.
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: Here.
Gender: Female.
Character:
A girl of fire and temperament, Tine is mostly the exact opposite of Foxy, outgoing and sometimes brash in getting to know her peers and vessels definately a few times above her tonnage. She is also aggressive in battle... often dragging Foxy along with her plans, much to the latter's dismay. But, as easily as you can become Tine's friend, you can become her enemy, especially by making Foxy cry... and woe be you, if that happens.
Special abilities:
Surprise Torpedo Sternhurt!: Tine has the rather interesting method of deploying her torpedoes for maximum efficiency by blowing off the sterns of the targeted vessels, which leaves them sitting dead in the water... and as ideal targets.
Technical Description of the vessel:
Technical Data
Displacement: 1,100 tons full load
Length (overall): 89 m
Width: 8.2 m
Draught: 2.8 m
Propulsion: 2 water tube boilers, 2 turbines, 2 shafts
Speed: 29.5 knots, 14 knots cruise
Complement: 115 sailors
Armament:
    2x 135mm guns, Gabha G-91 Mark II
    5x 40mm AA-guns,
    8x 533mm torpedo tubes (4x2)
Armour: None
Notes:

In 1927, SDFS Tine, named after a specific type of badger on the Mainland, was launched. She was, from the get-go, planned not for a specific region to operate in, but as type-vessel of the Tine-Type, a group of four vessels equipped to operate anywhere in the Free Lands' Territorial Waters. That included cold-proofing, that included ventilation for tropical regions, that included a long and hard training period. Another one of the modifications included more AA-guns, in return a deviation from the mine warfare doctrine of the SDF-Navy ("Every vessel floating carries mines.").
Still, SDFS Tine saw the Archipelago rarely during her career, being mostly deployed from the Mainland to patrol the sea borders with Lutetii. There, she stopped vessels for inspections and made quite a few good catches, but nothing too large.
She was involved in the Carraig Incident with SDFS Sionnach Oighir, managing to sink one ship and to take out a few coastal artillery positions, in return for several hits.
SDFS Tine was decomissioned in 1955.

Oh boy am I glad to see something like this rebooted.
Let me guess, are y'all gonna hate me if I revive the leviathan of Catherine?
I've got a few battleships up my sleeve that are more... shall we say, practical?

Name: UCN Amaryyi
Type: Super-heavy battleship
Class: Iperikas-class super-heavy battleship
Role: Flagship, heavy battleship support
Nation of origin: Sleetavia
Year commissioned: 1943
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: This, minus the rifle (Image)

Displacement: 83,000 tons fully loaded
Length (overall): 844 ft (257 m)
Width: 108.5 ft (33 m)
Draught: 35 ft (10 m)
Propulsion: x4 screws, 210,000 SHP
Speed: 30 knots maximum, 32 knots with light load
Complement: ~2,900 officers and men
Armament:
x9 18-inch/56 .cal Mk. XIII guns
x8 6-inch/40 .cal Mk. XIX guns
x16 5-inch/38 .cal Mk. XV guns (Dual-purpose)
x75 40mm triple barrel AA guns
x30 20mm single barrel AA guns
x10 80mm double barrel flak cannons
Armour:
Bulkheads: 15 inches
Barbettes:
Front: 12 inches
Sides: 16 inches
Turrets:
Front: 18 inches
Sides: 10 inches
Rear: 14 inches
Roof: 8.5 inches
Conning Tower: 18.4 inches
Decks:
Main: 1.8 inches
Second: 8 inches
Splinter: 0.8 inches
2 inches over magazines
Notes: The last ship in the Iperikas family of super-battleships, designed to take on the Japanese Yamato-class. Named after a province in Sleetavia, as are all Sleetavian battleships. Somewhat similar in appearances to said Yamato-class battleships, but lacks the bow curve of their Japanese counterparts.

Normally I'd give the benefit of doubt since I know you from the last one but based on the specifications.. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to say no because of the excessive tonnage and the fact that it's slightly too OP. Of course if you'd like to appeal please TG me.

I updated it, mostly a repeat of what I put in the notes, but if you need something else changed just let me know.

Also, I figured, which is why I opted for a CB instead, a little bit more maneuverable than a battleship with big guns. Hopefully will come in handy in the frozen north.

Personell file - Operational Sector Wide Sea - South West

(Name): HLFFS Blákksdorff (Holtland Folkscripen Fleetscip - Blákksdorff; "Black Village"; Nicknamed, "Blake")
(Type): Light Cruiser (Nichtpansaðubrig; lit. "Unarmored Brigantine")
(Class): Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruiser (Second in his Class)
(Role): Minesweeper, Submarine Hunter, Convoy Duty, Coastal Patrol, Nighttime Patrol, Moderate AA Defense, and Destroyer Flotilla Leader
(Nation of Origin): Kraicia (Holtland)
(Year Commissioned): March 1944
(Image or description of the ship girl/boy):
Image

(Gender): Male
(Character): At a height of 183cm (6ft) and retaining slightly pale complexion, short blonde hair, and blue eyes, Blake can be easily mistaken for a stereotypical German 'Aryan' boy; however, his English facial features otherwise differentiate him from the usual German shipboy/shipgirl. Unlike his fellow Kraician cruiser shipboys/shipgirls, Blake is a quiet and cold yet respectable and sympathetic individual - a stark contrast to his predecessors whom were often talkative/charismatic and/or rude. Blake is someone who doesn't speak that many words, even to the point of making newcomers think that he's a mute; however, whenever he does speak, Blake is poetic or direct - his speech is either cleverly cryptic or simple.
(Special abilities): Blákksdorff is an advanced light cruiser of his type that wields extraordinary radar-guidance system and analogue computers to assist in precision/accurate salvos. Subsequently, Blákksdorff and his brothers are infamous for their pinpoint accuracy. What the Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruiser lacks in punch, they make up for amazing accuracy and target acquisition.
(Technical Description of the vessel):
Image
Designed and built as a new kind of cruiser for the Kraician Navy, Blákksdorff was introduced into the Kraician Navy along with his fellow brothers as the most technologically advanced cruisers ever built at the time. Instead of wielding bigger guns, Blake and his brothers were instead built with accuracy and fire rate in mind - specifically taking a lesson from US-designed ships. Equipped with radar-guided guns and a pair of analogue computer-assisted rangefinders and directors, Blákksdorff and his brothers essentially became the 'sharpshooters' of the naval world at the time; however, following the introduction of digital computers in the late 20th century, the technological marvels wielded by Blákksdorff and the other Brodengrafschaft-Class cruisers were rendered obsolete. Fortunately, following the advent of the Korean War, Blákksdorff and Brodengrafschaft saw action in coastal bombardments and anti-submarine duties, which made the Kraician Navy reconsider the Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruiser's decommissioning date (originally 1952 to 1954 for all Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruisers). Subsequently, the Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruisers stuck around in the Kraician Navy until they were all sold for scrap in the mid-1990s (all Brodengrafschaft-Class Cruisers at the time had became missile cruisers).

Technical Data
Displacement: 11,792 tons
Length (overall): 200m (656.168ft)
Width: 20m (65.6ft)
Draught: 7.9m (25.91ft)
Propulsion:
- 4 x diesel engines
- 4 x Propellers
Speed: 30 Knots
Complement: 859 Enlisted and 49 Officers
Armament:
- 3 x Quadruple-Barrelled 6.1in Gun Turrets (Main Guns)
- 18 x Twin-Barreled 30mm Automatic Cannon Turrets (Secondary Armament)
- 2 x Triple-Barrled 533mm Torpedoes (Midsection)
Armour: N/A
Notes: In correlation with Blákksdorff's special ability, he wields a sniper rifle not just for a taste of antiquity, but as a practical tool of marksmanship. This rifle only appears when he uses his special ability. Otherwise, Blákksdorff is stuck with his rigging when he is in combat.

(Image)

Well...Catherine will be less than graceful crashing into ice sheets at every second and personally I wouldn't recommend it since the slots are limited and with the colder conditions smaller nimbler ships are preferred.

P.s sorry if my posts here seem too long, spoiler code has some issues i'm too lazy to resolve. I'll get the roster up some time soon hopefully.

All's fine with that- I have a battleship class named Moskovskaya which is much more reasonable than Catherine- however, it comes out of a similar naval doctrine, clocking in at around 92k tons- but as it uses a similar steel type to Catherine, if it used actual, regular steel, it would be closer to 110 or 120. Would that be okay with you?

Hmm it would be nice to have a token massive battleship but then again this is primarily centralised around smaller ships so we'll have to see abt that.

Sorry for the double post but just to clarify some matters:

Sure, I'll take a look at it, just send it here.

Also just to clarify since something: This isn't a combat driven RP. Never had been the main goal of the last one and never will be, instead this will be slice of life, living out life as kanmusu while combat will be a backseat topic. However, this RP will have sections of combat.

As for the IC, if it gets enough traction by Sunday I'll begin writing, otherwise i might leave it till next week if that's fine with y'all for now.

MAJOR UPDATE

After some considering and review, a new consensus has been reached. Capital ships will be allowed until I see that there is too much of them.

HOWEVER

There will be a counter measure for this. Let's say you have 3 capitals, the submarine presence will be moderate. The more battleships you have and the heavier there are, the more submarines will begin appearing and the stronger they will be until princesses, demons and princes start to come into the picture. This includes carrier as well so be careful in what you choose or you might doom the fleet~

Which means that Sleet, you're officially accepted~ Although this will heavily increase submarine presence so TG me if you wish to change this decision.

Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: RNV Moskovskaya
Type: Super Battleship
Class: Moskovskaya
Role: Flagship, long range artillery, Brawler, Fleet centerpiece.
Nation of origin: Rustyal
Year commissioned: 1944
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: https://i.imgur.com/9jMo4FG.png
Gender: Female
Character: Moskovskaya is what you get when you take the vodka from the vodka aunt and turn her hardcore communist. And at 6'7, that can be a bit intimidating. Due to many operations where she would often trek with little to no escort just to attract not as much attention, she's used to being secluded or alone, meaning she often won't be the one to start conversations. She'll be a bit coldhearted towards anyone that's a bit too excited in her eyes, sometimes being petty over it. Primarily, all of this is a result of her long service history- She's seen a lot. While she can eventually warm up to others beneath all the ice covering her, it may take a bit. May.

Special abilities: Using the best rangefinders in Rustyal, Moskovskaya can use every detection system she has against one target- allowing for an insanely accurate salvo for her caliber of weaponry. This often leads to either the destruction of the vessel or the crippling of it.

Technical Description of the vessel: In response to both the Oskanian [japanese] Yamato-equivalent battleships, and the Astingtonian [german] H-class battleships, the Rustyans knew they were outclassed- which was why, they decided to set every perimeter for naval gun combat, creating the Moskovskaya- a heavyweight battleship which served over many battles of basically WW2. The four Moskovskaya-class battleships were renowned among ally and enemy alike. These titans of war have sunk at least 400,000 tons of enemy steel, expending atleast over one thousand 21 inch rounds, leading them to be the most destructive ships fielded (before Catherine) in the Rustyan navy.

APPLICATIONS
Personnel file - Operational Sector Ark Circle - North

Name: IJN Erimo
Type: Monitor
Class: Erimo-class
Role: Shore bombardment/Naval Gunfire Support
Nation of origin: Japan
Year commissioned: 15 March 1945
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:
Image

Gender: Female
Character:
A quiet, slight girl with a peaceful - almost pacifistic - disposition, Erimo dislikes attention and very much prefers staying out of the limelight, thank you very much. Having never seen combat, and built as a nation's last-ditch attempt at winning a hopeless war, she is both unsure of her own abilities and has little desire to be in a position where she has to use it.

She has also, curiously, adopted Mutsu's rather... extreme, fear of fire and explosions. Probably due to the event that handed Erimo her guns.

Special abilities:

Technical Description of the vessel:
Image

Technical Data
Displacement: 7,500 long tons
Length (overall): 130m
Width: 31m
Draught: 5m
Propulsion: 2 x Kampon boilers, 2 turbines, 15,000 k
Speed: 13 kn
Complement: 250
Armament:
2 × 41 cm/45 3rd Year Type naval gun (1 x 2)
16 x 15 cm (15.2cm)/50 41st Year Type naval gun (16 x 1)
12 x 12.7 cm/40 Type 89 AA gun (6 x 2)
6 x Type 96 25 mm AA gun (2 x 3)
Armour:
Deck - 100-19 mm
Belt - 305–102 mm
Notes:
No combat experience.

Japan's one and only monitor warship, Erimo was ordered as part of an off-record naval expansion plan that is supposed to enhance the IJN's ability to provide naval gunfire support for coastal operations as well as (potentially) defence of the home islands against possible attack. She was also an attempt to utilise the turrets of the sunken Nagato-class battleship, IJN Mutsu, as a cost-cutting measure by a resource-poor Japan nearing the end of the war - Erimo being armed with the No. 1 turret, specifically. While initially taking design notes from the Royal Navy's Erebus-class monitors, more and more superstructure alterations were added during construction to result in a practically Fusou-style pagoda mast. The lack of carrier aircraft at the later stages of the war also meant that she was expected to carry her own spotting plane, giving her a rudimentary flight deck at the stern with room for one seaplane.

Two more of the Erimo-class would have been ordered had the war not ended soon after her commissioning, held in secret in a little-known naval arsenal in Karafuto (or, Sakhalin). Prior to the island falling to the USSR in August of the same year, she was towed into the Sea of Okhotsk and scuttled with all planning documents and schematics on board, and all the staff involved in this project sworn to secrecy.

Name: IJN Goryokaku
Type: Gunboat
Class: Hashidate-class (modified)
Role: Shore bombardment/Naval Gunfire Support
Nation of origin: Japan
Year commissioned: 30 June 1940
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:

Gender: Female
Character:
Goryokaku is a serious girl, one that strives to always act with purpose, though some say a bit too serious. She's also easily frustrated, though that usually doesn't show, due to decades of being the most undergunned member of her class - and it doesn't help that her own twin sister is the one with the largest guns amongst all the Hashidates. Still, she is dutiful and hard-working, though less uptight than a certain Asashio-class lead ship...

Special abilities:

Technical Description of the vessel:

Technical Data
Displacement: 993 long tons
Length (overall): 78.5 m
Width: 9.7 m
Draught: 2.45 m
Propulsion: >4,600 hp (3,400 kW) geared turbine
Speed: 19.5 kn
Complement: 158
Armament:
4 x 8 cm/60 Type 98 naval gun (2 x 2)
4 x Type 96 25 mm AA gun (2 x 2)
Armour:
She's a gunboat. Surely you jest?
Notes:

Goryokaku was one of the two additional, off-the-books hulls of the Hashidate-class ordered to specifically by the fledging Karafuto Naval Arsenal for the evaluation of soon-to-be-adopted armaments. Goryokaku, in particular, was built to test the planned 8 cm dual-purpose gun slated for the Agano-class light cruisers and the incomplete light carrier Ibuki. The guns were kept after testing, and she was then deployed alongside her sister Matsumae to China to support IJA operations during the Second Sino-Japanese War, before both were reassigned to the task force for Operation AL - the invasion of the Aleutians Islands, spending the rest of the war in the surrounding waters. Goryokaku was torpedoed during Operation KE, the Japanese evacuation of Kiska Island.

Gender: Female
Character:
Matsumae is, to say the least, pretty much her sister Goryokaku's opposite. Laid-back, absentminded, and having a tendency to go off tangents, she's also extremely curious... and has a short attention span. But most notably, she really really like to take her own sweet time with things, practically living on her own pace. Still, if that's one thing that can hold her attention substantially, it would be explosions.

Oh, and fire. The more the better. Which was probably related to how she left formation during the Kiska evacuations to investigate an unexplained explosion, which later turned out to be a torpedo that struck shallow rocks. And ate another torpedo from the same spread for her troubles.

She's a gunboat. Surely you jest?
Notes:

The second of the Hashidate-class delivered to Karafuto Naval Arsenal as a gun-testing platform, Matsumae was fitted with a short version of the 15.5 cm gun that will go on to arm the Mogami-class cruisers (at least, for the duration in which Japan was bound by the London Naval Treaty), and later on, serve as the secondary battery of the Yamato-class superdreadnoughts. Her wartime service effectively mirrored her twin's, having initially served along the Chinese coast to support IJA operations before being transferred to the Aleutians, where she was sunk during the eventual evacuations.

Of note, the 15.5cm/35 naval gun was found to have... pretty atrocious accuracy, and is wholly incapable of hitting moving targets - essentially eliminating the one positive trait it had in naval combat. However, it did inherit a good extent of the full-length gun's range, and thus remains highly capable as a shore-bombardment artillery.

Name: MNC Locust
Type: Unknown
Class: Armored Submarine Carrier
Role: Anti-ASW/Submarine Fortress
Nation of origin: TCaDS
Year commissioned: 1950
Image or description of the ship girl/boy: https://i.pinimg.com/236x/d1/4b/c8/d14b ... k-girl.jpg
Gender: He's a robot, but prefers male pronouns.
Character: He is essentially emotionless, even during conversation, but is programmed to use varying personalities depending on how he's interacted with. He'll do as told, assuming its someone in higher authority. Due to his fear of submarines, Prophet doesn't like him too well.
Special abilities: Locust was originally a massive deep sea exploration submarine, and is suited well for the depth’s immense pressure. The extra room in Locust's body was filled mainly with oxygen tanks, giving him a seemingly indefinite submersion duration. Technically speaking, Locust can act as an icebreaker if required due to his thick armor.
Technical Description of the vessel: Most information about the Locust Project was kept top secret up until now. The Locust was originally a deep sea exploration submarine, but as the Theocracy came to war, it underwent militarization to become a fearsome ship, carrying with it a massive torpedo armament, as well as its trademark, the Parasite minisubs, designed to be silent killers in the water, both fast and near undetectable, and armed with 8 torpedoes of their own to assassinate anything but the most defended of targets. The best part about the Locust is its patience, as it can stay where most submarines cannot for a near indefinite duration, waiting for the perfect time to catch its prey. Unfortunately, it never saw much action, and immediately after the war, the Locust was demilitarized into a tourist attraction, as a museum of its history, but it can take people down to the depths where it once was in years past, still exploring what may lie in the blackened waters.

Personell file - Operational Sector Wide Sea - South West

(Name): HLFFS Gibson Grover
(Type): Early Helicopter Carrier / Dock Landing Ship
(Class): Harper-Class Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Ship
(Role): PT Boat Tender/Carrier or Landing Craft Carrier, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Mine-Sweeping, Reconnaissance, and Air-Sea Rescue Operations
(Nation of origin): Kraicia
(Year commissioned): April 1920 (As a Destroyer Tender); September 1937 (As an Amphibious Assault Ship); April 1943 (As an early Helicopter Carrier; though he would not receive helicopters until February 1945)
(Image or description of the ship girl/boy):
Image

(Gender): Male
(Character): At 172cm tall (5'8") and retaining the distinctive Kraician pale skin tone, Gibson Grover has been the bud of jokes by the Kraician heavy cruisers and larger allied carriers for his short stature and 'elf-like' appearance - something that would make other carriers similar to his size, like Ryuujou and Zuihou, giggle in the background. Fortunately, when not being jokingly patronized by the 'battleship' and 'carrier' shipboys, Gibson Grover appears to mask his otherwise highly resilient and tough-minded personality with a light-hearted surface persona. In a summarised form, Gibson Grover can be like the little brother of much larger 'carrier' shipboys and shipgirls - not to mention that he can also be the cousin to other Kraician 'carrier' shipboys. Although barely arriving in time for the allied amphibious landings of the Italian Campaign, Gibson Grover is a considerably liberal shipboy unlike his other Kraician comrades, due to the fact that he had taken part in helping US and British troops and tanks land on the beaches of Italy and Normandy. Subsequently, he has integrated a small amount of North American vocabulary into his Kraician English; often using words like 'man' instead of 'mate/lad', 'bullshit' (pronounced hilariously wrong as, "bow-schitt") instead of 'bullocks', and 'complete/total' instead of 'utter'.
(Special abilities): While technologically inferior compared to its allied counterparts and its other fellow Kraician ships, Gibson Grover's previous incarnations as a Destroyer Tender has gave him ability to change roles either as an amphibious assault ship, a Torpedo Boat Tender, or a Troop Transport
(Technical Description of the vessel):
Image

Originally conceived in early 1917 as an ordinary destroyer tender, Gibson Grover was supposed to be designed with the intention of supporting Kraicia's naval defenses in the First World War; however, Gibson Grover was unfortunately incomplete by the time the First World War came to an end. Throughout the inter-war period (1920s), Gibson Grover would eventually be completed in 1920 and pressed into peacetime naval service; however, following the Great Depression and Kraicia's rearmament in the 1930s, Gibson Grover was brought back to the drydocks and was remodeled into an amphibious assault ship - with Kraician diesel-powered torpedo boats as its primary armament against other ships and submarines. By the outbreak of the Second World War, Gibson Grover had been reborn and reclassified as an amphibious assault ship, having undergone a complicated redesign spanning from 1933 to 1937. Unwieldy and vulnerable at first, Gibson Grover was kept close to home with a constant escort of destroyers, since Gibson Grover was the only 'large' amphibious assault ship available at the time; however, following the early months of the North Africa Campaign, Gibson Grover was sent to provide limited amphibious landings for the allied forces. Unfortunately, Gibson Grover was called back to home once again in early 1942 for another remodel, this time Gibson Grover would receive an additional vehicle in its arsenal that would make increase its amphibious warfare capabilities.

Inspired by the successful testing and flights of Igor Sikorsky's first helicopter in 1939, as well as the later R-4 helicopter, the Kraician Naval Research Department were inspired to create their own helicopters; the result being the tandem rotor MB-52 Helicopter. To give HLFFS Gibson Grover greater versatility, the Kraician Navy decided to grant the Kraician Naval Research Department to test a new doctrine called, Dove Pen. Under this new doctrine, Gibson Grover undergone a third renovation that largely altered its appearance and giving it an armoured aircraft deck designed for helicopters; however, when Gibson Grover was commissioned back into service in April 1943, the MB-52 Helicopters in mind were still undergoing testing and trials by the time Gibson Grover was brought back to service. With its helicopters still unavailable at the time, Gibson Grover was deployed almost too late into the amphibious landings of the Italian Campaign landings, and was once again called to help land allied troops and tanks onto the front. For the time being, Gibson Grover's flight deck was repurposed to accommodate the British-made Fairey Swordfish biplanes; however, Gibson Grover would eventually receive its MB-52 helicopters in February 1945, and he would remain in trial and testing throughout the remainder of the war.

While a test bed for the new Kraician naval doctrine (Dove Pen), Gibson Grover would quickly be worthy of wielding helicopters and torpedo-boats (or landing craft) at the same time, and this with final testing and training concluding by January 1948. Unfortunately, Gibson Grover was largely outdated when compared to the other allied carriers, and he was deemed to be succeeded by more well-designed and successful Kraician carriers; however, Gibson Grover was once again called to arms when the Korean War erupted in 1950. As the only helicopter carrier available by the outbreak of the Korean War, Gibson Grover decisively fulfilled the role as a major amphibious assault ship among the UNC forces, and played a major role in the Battle of Pusan Perimeter and the Battle of Inchon. Remaining in service until the end of the Korean War, Gibson Grover would eventually be fully decommissioned in mid-1955, and was considered to be scrapped; however, by the request of its crews and the Kraician Admiralty, Gibson Grover was instead converted into a museum ship. While Gibson Grover only served in the Korean War as an early helicopter carrier, Gibson Grover became a groundbreaking influence to other major navies and conveying the importance of helicopter carriers in modern warfare...despite the technical setbacks that Gibson Grover had experienced throughout his lifetime in service...

Oh my, now that i'm back let's look at these apps.

Name: IJN Erimo
Type: Monitor
Class: Erimo-class
Role: Shore bombardment/Naval Gunfire Support
Nation of origin: Japan
Year commissioned: 15 March 1945
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:

Name: IJN Matsumae
Type: Gunboat
Class: Hashidate-class (modified)
Role: Shore bombardment/Naval Gunfire Support
Nation of origin: Japan
Year commissioned: 30 June 1940
Image or description of the ship girl/boy:

Gender: Female

Special abilities:

Technical Description of the vessel:

The second of the Hashidate-class delivered to Karafuto Naval Arsenal as a gun-testing platform, Matsumae was fitted with a short version of the 15.5 cm gun that will go on to arm the Mogami-class cruisers (at least, for the duration in which Japan was bound by the London Naval Treaty), and later on, serve as the secondary battery of the Yamato-class superdreadnoughts.

Technical Data
Displacement: 994 long tons
Length (overall): 78.5 m
Width: 9.7 m
Draught: 2.45 m
Propulsion: >4,600 hp (3,400 kW) geared turbine
Speed: 19.5 kn
Complement: 158
Armament:
2 x 15.5 cm/35 Experimental Short-barrel (2 x 1)
4 x Type 96 25 mm AA gun (2 x 2)
Armour:
She's a gunboat. Surely you jest?
Notes:
The 15.5cm/15 naval gun was found to have... pretty atrocious accuracy, and is wholly incapable of hitting moving targets - essentially eliminating the one positive trait it had in naval combat. However, it did inherit a good extent of the full-length gun's range, and thus remains highly capable as a shore-bombardment artillery.

(Name): HLFFS Gibson Grover
(Type): Early Helicopter Carrier / Dock Landing Ship
(Class): Harper-Class Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Ship
(Role): PT Boat Tender/Carrier or Landing Craft Carrier, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Mine-Sweeping, Reconnaissance, and Air-Sea Rescue Operations
(Nation of origin): Kraicia
(Year commissioned): April 1920 (As a Destroyer Tender); September 1937 (As an Amphibious Assault Ship); April 1943 (As an early Helicopter Carrier; though he would not receive helicopters until February 1945)
(Image or description of the ship girl/boy):

Accepted, welcome aboard once again, however do note that due to the status of the base helicopters will be only allowed to land safely on him or on the base albeit somewhat riskily.

If anyone has any issues with these rulings please TG me and i'll be more than happy to try and settle them.

With that however, do note that the abyssal surface and submarine forces have been buffed accordingly in terms of power and numbers, and will continue to be buffed if more capital ships are added so be warned about that.

Of course, if you carry onward down this path, a certain prince and princess and more will make their appearance soon...

I note, that we have a suspicious lack of ASW-vessels... and a lot of old, very familiar faces.
Not that I am complaining about the latter, but the former makes me thinking - to bring in a sister or two of merry, ol' Stilly or not? Anyway, good to see you all back!
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.
