Part XIII
Do the Right thing.

"No enemy bomber can reach the Ruhr, if one reaches the Ruhr, my name is not Goering. You may call me Meyer . " - Hermann Meyer

The cycle dynastic cycle continues. The RWDT has grown over the years as new figures come and old figures leave, guaranteeing that nothing really advances at great speed which is just the way we like it here. The thread features a colorful cast of people of different opinions. As we celebrate this most momentous occasion of continuing one of the most beloved pages on NS, we take a pause to reflect on just the high tier discourse we are bound to find. RWDT, where we tell others to go to hell in such a way they ask for directions. RWDT, a great melting pot of ideas, insight and occasional sanity. RWDT, where the east and the west unites in similar opinion. They want the resources and so does the other. Long live the RWDT, and as always, peace and weapon exports shall secure the world.

Welcome all to the Right-Wing Discussion Thread (RWDT), a place where we discuss all matters appertaining to the right wing-spirit. This is the eleventh instalment of the thread making it NS's most beloved and controversial spots to engage in deep discussions that will no doubt bring fourth the fruits of wisdom and change your life. We ask the users to go by a dual-principle of being lenient towards the topic, but also understanding if things really get too off-topic and if necessary correct themselves. In particular, be cautious not to have too extended theological debates if it has little to do with the sphere of right wing policies in general. We thank you for your understanding.

Suggestions for improvements, changes, or additions is as always welcome.

Relevant subjects for discussion include:

  • The politics, philosophies, and ideologies of the right.
  • Right-wing perspectives on economics and political economy.
  • News and history relevant to the political Right.
  • Right-wing responses to current events.
  • Right-wing perspectives on social and economic problems.
  • Political, social, cultural, and economic problems and their solutions according to the political Right.
  • The problems facing particular Right-wing movements or the political right in general, and how to resolve them.

I dunno if Locke could be considered right wing any more than Thomas Jefferson. Right-wing free-marketers tend to be quite a bit to the right of Locke, whether or not they know it (for example, they often reject social contract theory and his labor theory of ownership, and would probably be disgusted if they read his thoughts on marriage and divorce).

It’s everyone’s favorite Jewish agrarian and srat partisan of classy parties here, and I’m presently contemplating Martin Buber as a Jewish traditionalist.
I'm the crazy, gun-toting, conservative, nationalistic, sorority-affiliated, Jewish Southern belle that your momma warned you about.

Depends on what you consider centrist to be, 300 years ago all the Founding Fathers were radical kooks.

That's really not true. Paine and Jefferson were (and still are). Many were not, though.

Reflection of materialist values. Nominalism is opposed to quality, only fungible quantitative distinction (right down to people) is permissible. Such a mindset produces architecture that only emphasizes bigliness and hardness. Grandeur and grace are qualities, floors and utility are quantifiable.
