Description of Faction Strength Level: Murder Incorporated draws its strength from team fights and small scale operations involving its team, which right now, is its only team. It's one of the smallest "factions", but their skill at anti metahuman warfare and fighting as a small unit makes them worth paying attention to. They aren't exactly the types that you want to have on your back, if you've pissed them off.

Background: Murder Incorporated was founded by the members of the Marsden family that left to gain their own power and glory, behind leader Minerva Marsden. Formerly handled by the mysterious but powerful figure known as Padre, the biological father of the original members, the Marsdens would begin with the advantage of special forces level training and skill at fighting metahumans. After breaking away from Padre while on a mission in Mexico, they would cut to the north in Oklahoma and steal members from the impoverished Syndicate team before going on the run... Pursued by a third party that remains in the shadows, a complete stranger to them.

Primary Ability:
Jennifer's bones could withstand under immense stress and physical force. It would take heavier weaponry to cause cracks open her bones.
Other Abilities:
Diamond Skin: Like her bones, Jenny has unusually resilient skin that is impervious to any physical harm or damage. Bullets, blades, and explosives just seem to bounce off of her as if they were made of Styrofoam.
Power Drawbacks:
- Just because her bones are near-indestructable doesn't mean she is invulnerable. A well-place strike with a small enough weapon between the ribs can still damage her internal organs.
- Other than the fact that blunt weapons would have little effect on her, poison is still viable as a method to dispose her.
- Acid can do damage to her skin though it depends how concentrated the formula is.
- Apply enough blunt force and her internals organs can risk rupture while her skin and skeleton remain unscathed.

Biggest Flaw: Her fanatical love and watchful worry for her family, especially her twin sister Jenny, makes Jennifer easily distrustful of people, even if they are already friends of Jenny
Main Skills:
- a skilled marksman with her M14
- is decent operating other sniper rifles
- diagnosed with the rare disease of Congenital Analgesia (unable to feel pain)
- very agile with her rocket jumps
Personality:
Since Jenny is the guard dog, that makes Jennifer the sentry cat. Quiet, thoughtful, and always listening, she keeps a watchful eye on her surroundings to prevent being ambushed. Of course, Jennifer's stone face and cold red eyes hide her true emotions of her protective love over her siblings and parents.
Biography: There's a reason why Jenny didn't tell her teammates that she has a twin sister; mainly because that Brooding Jenny didn't want to make herself known to strangers. Jennifer was born at the same time as Jenny, live in the same house under the Soldier, and trained under the same methods. They even share the same names because Soldier wasn't even able to distinguish between the two. "Jennifer do this; other Jennifer do that; who's the real Jennifer? etc" But wherever Jenny went, Jennifer followed.

Jennifer realized she has power of being near immune to damage when she accidentally slip on a log and gave it a nasty cut on its side while her skin barely had a mark. It was a coincidence that Jenny got her powers too on the same day.

That is until Jenny left for the Syndicate but Jennifer couldn't because someone has to take care of Soldier. It was nearly a year of furiously making sure that her grandfather and mentor doesn't kill himself in one shenanigan or another. Everything, she has to do for him: from cooking to cleaning to even helping him go to the bathroom.

What prevented Jennifer from ditching her grandfather completely was that whenever chores are finished, Soldier would take her outside for training. Jennifer enjoys taking out her frustration and insecurities on trees, wildlife, and training dummies.

When the nukes fell and France and half a dozen more countries, Jennifer and her grandfather worked tireless to convert their home into a makeshift nuclear bunker filled with food, water, and electric generators. To her surprise, Soldier blessed Jennifer's rocket launcher and M14 and told her to go to France to "save America's great ally" and to "make sure your sister comes home a hero and not in a casket".

Hey guys. Sorry if this is sudden, but I've been struggling to keep up with the RP with new stuff going on, and I feel like it's best if I drop it now before I begin to become dead weight on the roster. I had a good time, and I have no OOC conflicts or issues with any other players, but it's just due to declining interest and posting ability.

I must regretfully announce that this RP has taken its last breaths. For the record for anyone looking back on this, there’s been a lot of talk lately about how this should be run, whether it’s active enough to run, the difficulty of the RP, etc. Truth be told, I lost a lot of interest after the second wave of dropouts and continued because of my characters. Now, after more frustration, we’ve all decided to end it here at three months. It was a success, at least, lasting longer than any recent thread of mine. But it’s coming to an end here.

I will have something else in the future. Maybe even with a similar premise. But the mechanics will be very different. The difficulty problem will be solved. Somehow. Things will be required to make more sense with character creation. There won’t be any characters that clash with the game world. A tone will be enforced more solidly. Either things will lean completely towards movie style or completely towards being grounded, not a combination of both that brings neither style to life. I’ll learn from my mistakes.

And mark my words, we’ll last longer than three months next time. It’s already my belief that we’ve had the best hero RPs on NS at times. We just have to capitalize on our potential better going forward.
