Greater Arms of the Kingdom of Mcnernia
OFFCIAL COMMUNIQUE OF THE KINGDOM OF MCNERNIA
OFFICE OF HM EMILION THE FOURTH

From:HM Emilion IV
To:H.E Shogun Maki Kojiro
Cc:
Sec:Standard Personal Seal-MOST SECRET-Standard Personal Seal
Sub: Improvement of Relations

Greetings,
Concerning the LGBT issue, we may differ radically, then again there is a common theme. We have to fight the Communists and those others. With the recent possible merger of Redshields work into Asignia the threat that is posed is a dangerous one. We as a Santiago Nation are committed to standing up to rouge nations that would violate the rules of the world. And we will stand with you if you will stand with us.
And the secret encryption is to ensure that no one else will look at the message beyond you and those you chose to share it with. Rest well assured that my security establishment will take care of those who might threaten your person.
The summit will take place at the Royal Resort of Boythorp House. And I hope by God that it shall be a productive one that will yield stronger ties between our nations.

Signed
-Emilion IV Rex

Griffindon, Mcnernia
Palace of Roseham

HM Emilion IV

He looked in the mirror, the communique had been dispatched and he looked at the face in the mirror. It had been a long time, since he had stared the man in the face. That man who had maligned his sister and was popular with women or something. So the King had ordered him out, not demanded his resignation but he had arranged things to ruin the man politically. Of course there had been the issue of Barbra Malloy. He had received the woman in his private rooms. He had attended the funeral of the woman.

She was a firebrand and the fact was that she had been prone to the odd outburst, the King had come to the funeral with the best of intentions and he looked at the coffin and at the family. She had done well for herself. He pitied her somewhat.
There had been a lot of prime Ministers after that, he looked at his suit. He would take a walk in the garden and then he would get to work. He had been trained to be an administrator of a whole lot of territory. Never did he think that he would be the one who was in charge of the Kingdom and the Empire. And so he walked out the door. The court was not in session today but there was work as there always was.
“Sire.” Said an aide looking at the King as he walked down the hall looking at the King. He smiled. “Yes?”

“Its Alistair Redsheild, hes holed up in his safe house. At Highland with his family. The director says that he has not done anything, he had money yes but the Mulgorans ever since they allied with Malloy a while ago are on the out and out. And the Redshields were never that much involved with the affairs of the state.
Everything depended in a way on Maki Kojiro, to understand what they were talking about. How to get rid of Alistair Redshield, the man had been a threat to the nation perhaps as much as his brother before he had threatened SACTO.

Rural Mcnernia
On a Backroad

SACTO/Mcnernia Loyal SIS Operatives

The car sped through the countryside, the operatives that were in it were all highly trained. Unit 13 had changed since the 1960s. When threats were dealt with in a way that was barbaric but they were for country. Now the man in the lead of this SIS specialist team was heading to where there was a possible Anarchist encampment and possibly a retreat for agents who were more aligned with the interests of Alistair Redshield and the ill-repute Mulgorans. Who though ethically questionable in the defense of the empire from dangerous threats were needed. But now it was time to move b eyond that into a golden age of sorts.
“Alright, we may have MRC backup on the way, that is a big if, so we have to be careful. And we have to deal with the threat posed by the people we would call brothers and sisters, who pledged to an outside force that may deal with our nation badly, and were appointed during Malloys time or joined….during that time.”

The driver was experienced and he had been in combat. Having lost an eye at the hands of Communists when a infiltration into Communist held Wenchuan had gone horribly wrong in the 80s. And he had a truth to him, knowing things that were perhaps not to be known. He was a seasoned agent from that older era. The era when the Labor Party was not full of people like in Norvenia as much as it was full of people that were like the Norvenians. And he had done well. Now he prepared for combat one more time.
This part of the country was like so many others with the small villages that were full of good people. They’d stopped at some of them on the journey from Cardinth. The people spoke sing song words and they were kind. And yet they did not know of things beyond the village. Approaching the compound, a resort that was frequented by the military and intelligence elite that favored Redshield rather than the nation. Evidently things were going down and perhaps there was something to be said for the summoning of Hutani black operations to the nation.
“Boss, look!” A trail of smoke filled the sky, an explosion roared towards them.

In the sky a machine turned for its home base and in a control room a man smiled. “Confirm from ground team, assault unit in route is no longer needed, we have eliminated Redshields network. Offer them an orgy and they take it.”

Conspiracy Ep 1

Postby McNernia » Thu Jun 28, 2018 5:35 pm

OOC: This is a storyline from the previous thread. Im looking to wrap things up and move time along
Griffindon Suburbs
House of a Pro-SACTO Businessman

Hutani Black Ops Unit

The Hutani Black Operations community was close knit and overseas operations in the “Mother Country” of the Empire were handed to the best of the best. Like ones that assembled soberly around the table. To prepare and to think.

MBC proclaimed the news loudly in big letters. “MRC investating explosion at Cardinth Area resort.” The Hotel Ravenwood had been an ideal communist target with its catering to Mcnernias wealthy globe trotting captialists and the international elite. And now it had been booked and then bombed. Explosion had torn down the main building in a ball of fire. Killing the several hundred guest and totaling a modern and comfortable place.

“We know who the heck went in, according to our Mcnernian Comrades in this struggle we have a lot to clean up. Mostly it will involve the fact of filling the posts with loyal people.” The senior agent of Hutan in the country rarely attended such meetings.

“How did they do it, was it a bomb?” Asked the head of the Republican Guard Unit looking at the Resident as he was called. “I don’t know who the heck did it and by God we shall have to find out. I suggest we all lay low for a while. Work informants and be careful because the Redshields, who knows what they will do. The idea of them killing all of their own network did not strike the Hutani as something that was in the Redshield scope of things. Odds are Redshield if he was loyal to the Russel network would kill himself but Dates abandoning his post with the Army. Maybe that had convinced him to abandon the conspiracy.

The Hutani meeting broke up worried that there was something new in the game that was causing problems, the conspiracy was to be kept away from Mcnernia and the colonies. So the fact was that Redshield perhaps had to die and so the decision was made. They would watch and wait to see if the situation would resolve itself.

Once the meeting broke up and the agents left over the next few hours with the intention of finding out what was going on. This was a deep op. Perhaps the homeland would never know if they succeeded in defending Mcnernia an ally from the fighters of the serpent. Getting close to Alistair Redshields family would be the key to finding out what was going on.

A Hutani informant would say in a café. He would be haunted by what he had found.

“There are all kinds of Fraternities and the Church has had some things involved with that. Groups within the military who oppose such things as the Redshields, they’ll meet in odd places, hiding in cliché perhaps you might say.” He would provide some data, symbology on some odd killings in the past of leftists.

Unknown Location
Secret Meeting Chapel
A Ruin

The sea beat a mellow tune at the ruined castle, but it had been rebuilt somewhat with the local community all devout Christians. The Monastery had been fortified in ancient days with the knights that had sworn to the King, not to the local Lord. Orders of Knights, the ones who swore to serve the people at the command of God.

It was dark with the moon showing as the procession of robed figures moved towards the chapel for the meeting. They were some prominent members of noble families, public faces of the nation and the conservative movement. Now hooded they would also wear masks. No one must truly know the identity of the others to keep the Order intact, they were a secret society that worked to eliminate the ones that were contrary to Mcnernian and Christian interests.

“We have much to discuss brothers.” Said the leader as the doors were closed and the meeting came to order at this beautiful place that was hidden from the world. A few dozen of Mcnernias most powerful people gathered here. Powerful warlords that had met together and plotted to overthrow the Republican minded prime Minister who had insulted the queen and then collaborated with the Cuscatlani in a bid to take power for Field Marshal Price who while not at this meeting was quite well regarded by the order. And so they talked of bringing the senior leadership into the fold. They had patronized those men who led the Mcnernian security Forces that were some of the best in the world.

They discussed what could be done and they in their arrogance thinking that people would not notice where they were. Would let themselves be found.

The Hutani Republican Guard had traveled a long distance to this place. The thing was that following military officers meant that things would be dangerous. Who knew what was going on at a place like this. A seat of Knights during the time when knights were needed to deal the deathblow to bandits on this end of the continent. Now it was the knights that were fighting the threats that were posed by usury.

The troopers of the Republican Guard had trained to eliminate dissidents and this group was a threat to the Redshields. Perhaps the Redshield had already known of such societies as these.

The people were in camps, military officers moved around at leisure and the Mcnernian Armed Forces had a lot of respect going on for them. Getting close to this encampment. Officers wearing cloaks. Presented an opportunity for the Hutani to infiltrate perhaps. The Monastery had tents erected on the grounds. And so, the people would go in and out of the meeting hall.

Watching from the perimeter the Hutani took notes. “Unknown who is here, Field Marshal Price is in the capitol, as is the others of the General Staff, unknow if there are nobles.

MON OF MAKI KOJIRO, SHOGUN OF THE EMPIRE OF GREATER NIFON

Honorable Emillion - heika;,

I, Maki Kojiro, Shogun of the Empire of Greater Nifon, am addressing this letter to the office of honorable Emillion IV of McNernia: I accept your offer for a diplomatic meeting. However, due to the recent crisis in Bangka I am forced to deal with, I will not be able to attend it personally. Thus, my External Affairs Minister, Tokugawa Asuka, will represent the Empire of Greater Nifon in my stead. She will be provided with every letter of authentication required to conduct the talks.

Honor guide you,

- マキ小次郎

For majority of the world, Greater Nifon was a land shrouded in mystery, legends and half-truths, with all of it's inhabitants being warlike samurai ready to hire themselves under a contract for whatever right wing power demanded their help. Nothing could be further from truth, albeit no one in Nifon would deny the legacy of over 800 years of permanent civil war, beginning with the famous struggle between Kira and Akamatsu clans, ending only in mid XIX century. The fault has been partially on the sons of Admiral Yi themselves; there was not another nation in whole Greater Furukuran Sea that was as xenophobic as the Nifonese were, and while their society possessed ability to assimilate "gaijin", it always done so without loosing their national identity. Many of the Kojiro's subjects prided themselves on being most remote area in their region, one of exceptional cultural and ethnic homogeneity, with very few minorities being present.

Even since 1860s when Emperor Genji took power, leaving this world in early 1920s, Nifon undertook several waves of modernization, each time assimilating rather than attempting to copy foreign models. Under Shogun Kojiro's rule, another revolution - the information one - took place, with the industry gradually being replaced with services, driven by exceptional work culture developed by conjunction of protestant and ruistconcepts, ever driving the Nifonese population further and further. A new form of government, one that made the liberals across the world shudder in fear begun to develop, fueled by the very information technology that previously thought would open Nifon to cosmopolitan influence first time in history. But Shogun Kojiro, instead of attempting to halt globalization, used a method common among the Nifonese martial arts - "Do not stop the river, for you will be crushed. Manipulate the current instead". And as the famous masters of Seireiken use the opponent's energy against itself, Kojiro used the very technology that brought globalization against liberalism. And thus constant bombardment of manga and anime made under guidance of Gunpeitai, filled with carefully selected themes, but always having something in common with bushido, samurai and "Nifonese values" filled the markets of foreign countries, while the "popnationalism" bombarded the market at home. Hybrid society that never had Enlightenment nor embraced it's values was on course to create new, technocratic middle ages through a hybrid state where institutions melted under weight of Kojiro's vassals.

Nifon however made as well enormous inroads into foreign markets - especially due to enormous high-tech sector and growing services market. The government currently observed process of transition from export-led economy into one more driven through domestic spending. At the same time, despite it's rapid economic growth and hurricane like entry into political scene, Nifon has not yet confronted any major power outside New Hayesalia; but chances for escalation diminished following capture of several Hayesalian navy vessels, a meeting was organized between Asuka Tokugawa and newly re-elected Daniel Hayes. Still, one could not deny that Kojiro had grand ambitions, and only time was going to show how were they going to be realized....

McNernia was a nation Empire of Greater Nifon had been eyeing on for quite a while. While Kojiro had his differences with Emillion IV and at times viewed the monarch as incompetent, he nevertheless considered relations with McNernia to be of uttermost importance. While McNernia was a Western colonial power - something that the Nifonese did not see positively - the threat of communism and general benevolence Emillion IV so far expressed made Kojiro conclude that a policy of cooperation rather than confrontation was going to pay greater in the long run. As much as he would like to see McNernia's Asian colonies independent - as a lot of new markets for the Nifonese goods would have opened then - independence now would have equaled to massive political void that every communist entity could have entered in, and weakening of another major anticommunist power. Thus, the Shogun set it as his next goal to broaden the ties with McNernia.

To accomplish that goal, Kojiro sent no one else than his "left hand". The "left hand" was famed minister of external affairs, Tokugawa Asuka, a lady in her 40s, recently widowed after her husband suffered an unfortunate car accident. Since that time she has been playing the role of "neater face of the bakufu", and wherever the situation required sending the Nifon's most talented diplomat, Kojiro sent her. When one looked at Tokugawa, they seen a figure of a woman that could have easily been a top model - her look did not portray her age at slightest. Raven dark, wavy hair decorated the top of her head, with beautiful, oval face hidden beneath. A pair of mesmerizing green eyes constantly searched the area around them. But behind them hid a cunningness that could have belonged to a kitsune of Nifonese legends - being top reason why this woman had been sent to accomplish that task.

Tokugawa was now sitting in her Ki-56 flying to Mcnernia with a letter of authentication authorizing her to play a role of a special envoy to the government of this Celtic nation, thinking about her subsequent plans. As the plane landed, the diplomat familiarized herself with all the intelligence provided by Nifonese foreign services. Shortly after her CPP team finished sweeping the area and moved her into the motorcade, she was driven into place of the meeting. Upon entering, she merely sat on her place, waiting for the host to approach. After all, Nifonese culture had very strict standards of behaviour, and breaking them could have easily caused a major offense...

Conspiracy Ep 2

Postby McNernia » Sun Jul 08, 2018 2:40 pm

Idiria-Wenchuan Border
Winter 1982

The team had taken fire from the forts up here, at several thousand feet high. In these mountains things tended to go from bad to worse in a heart beat. And the commandos that were advancing up the pass had fought with the Wenchuani Communists. Intelligence had pointed to a team of anti-Government dissidents living in a southern border town and as such the decision had been made to send in a team.

Said team had tried to reach the target, by some means the Wenchuani Communists had been ready for them and now they were on the run.
“Any word from HQ?” Here in the mountains it was quiet, peaceful, the sun was setting over the camp. In the centuries of conflict and human settlement small cities tended to spring up and be abandoned, whole states without the outside world knowing of them. The commandos had taken shelter in this place. But soon they were to find out something, but not yet.
“Nothing, we have no communications, probably a lot of monsoons fucking with communications to base.”

The Mcnernians were elite commandos that were tasked with the elimination of dissidents. Colonial policy was not a bad one at this point, but the things had been worse for the people that lived in Afrolia and this part of the world.

“Damn.” The team leader said, they had taken shelter in this valley, at the altitude they were at respirators were needed, like the filters on airplanes they allowed the troopers to breath. Not that they were needed. Unit 13 which was a elite unit had soldiers that had things done to them. Now it was sitting and waiting, they’d run like dogs to find this place.
What a place it was, a beautiful valley, like Shangri-La. The team leader looked at the map.
“We will be over the border soon, might be best to see whats going on down the valley.” It extended all around, the ruins of a monestary or something were present. Some of them had been converted by the Imperial Border Force or Service, whoever it was that ran the chain of posts watching the Wenchuani. They were far from the homeland.
“When do we move sir?”

“Im not…” From the ridge they could see the whole of the valley, it was not sheltered entirely, the cold was there but the wind was gone. Snow filled the upper parts of the peaks. Ruins, further down the valley. “Certain…”

The team leader led the way towards the ruins further down the valley. Him and the comms specialist.
“Boss, we had best be careful, odds are, mines in the area.” Came over the radio, the Wenchuani Communists had been known to sneak over the border and detonate avalanches. But theyd been left behind, since being forced to exfiltrate out of Wenchuan. Now they moved into a monestary that had been abandoned for a long time, only to find something they had not expected that they would find.

Imperial Border Corps
N.Western Frontier Command HQ
January 1962

The palatial building was looming over one of the holy cities that the natives worshipped in, the white, Mcnernian officer looked up from the truck as he arrived. Military Intelligence was proclaimed on his insignia and the desire was that this be settled. The border problem was kept hush-hush. No one needed to know that there was something going on in the mountains. The guard, an Idrian asked for his id and it was presented.
Colonel Aemon Mulgoran-Carroway. A man who was of noble stock and knew it. But he had a soft spot for the people that were trying to make it in the Empire. He had studied the native ways and he spoke fluent Hindi. The language that had emerged among all the states and such that had been unified into the Empire. He was lead inside to where the front desk receptionist a woman nodded. ”Welcome Colonel the commander has been expecting you.”

“Thank you.”

He was quick to settle himself into the chair and look around as he waited on his escort. Idrian North Western art, traditional things hung on the walls. It was a bureaucratic place that was dedicated to the vast frontier of Northwestern Idria. It was highly secured and the Colonel as a high ranking officer was expected. By the commandant of the district himself. The Idrian general looked him over. “Colonel Calloway? Your hyphenated names are something that I am unfamiliar with.”

“Calloway will do fine…I am here on a mission regarding the whole thing about the activity in the mountains.”

“Well if youll come with me Colonel I will explain the situation.” General Hamid Singh was a muslim and it mattered not, sectarianism in the Forces was something deemed anathema to the ideals of the Empire. It had been about oppression but stirrings from Griffindon had changed things. Idria was a test bed for it and that made the communists all the more desperate to destabilize the nation before the truth leaked out that the powers in the West Bloc as nations such as Mcnernia were known as did not want to kill all people that were a part of the East.
The Mcnernian was lead to the commandants office, the door was closed. The colonel sensed that the general was going to tell him something that would change a lot of things. Such as how he looked at the world.
“What I am about to tell you is that, we have been establishing an operations group within the Border Corps to handle covert missions, we are going toe to toe with the Wenchuani Peoples Archelogical Institue.”

“Are you fucking with me? General I fail to see how the Wenchuanis premier communist Colledge of Archeology constitutes a military threat.”

The General was sitting at his desk and reaching for a cigarette, he stopped himself looking at the brash Mcnernian who was sitting opposite him. “Sargent!” He barked in Hindi.
“Yes sir?” The man appeared in the doorway. “Get me the files on the incursions. Maybe this desk driver will be enlightened.”

The files, in English were provided to the Colonel. He was suitably impressed. A well organized group going after heavily armed smugglers who could only be the Army.

The Mcnernian policy was to plan for any eventuality and the policy towards the Nifonese had been on par with something for the Communists. Mcnernia planned for any sort of scenario and one of the exercises had been a request from an acting entity of Kojiro assuming the man was indisposed or out of action in a permanent scenario. Mcnernia was a colonial power aye but it was also something of a democracy. The main export of Mcnernia was guns, all sorts either it was cloning weapons or the formidable weapons that had been sold overseas to less than savory states and groups in the fight against Communism the Mcnernians sold guns. And other things such as discreet banking services, mercenaries that were very good at the deadly trade and other things.

Mcnernia was ancient, born of God to spread the Gospel or of the Gods as a land set apart and a people set apart. Pagan, Pre-Erinian texts, the founding era of the Kingdom that would go on to conquer the world said as much. The Mcnernians were homogenous and yet they were diverse perhaps the best word regarding what you would see on the streets of the capital was the Empire one could argue. As the center of a pseudo-Federal Monarchial system with vassals it had to show to the world the empire in microcosm. The Dominions and the colonies were the domains of the King and they were also containing legislatures. And these legislatures either a Bimerical dominion parliament or an Assembly held most of the power. And the party leader in a Prime Ministers job.

Mcnernians had spread out in a bid to leave their often cold and dark homeland. To look for fertile land or to get away from something. Cultural shifts since the 1960s in a bid to combat communism and the inevitable assimilation of the upper classes of native society would see order and satisfaction with the way things were. And being part of the Empire garunteed protection from the horrors that filled the world.

The King was young, younger than when his father had ascended to the throne. Much younger. And he was not the one in charge, Assemblies, Parliaments were the ones in charge. A King could in theory call for the dissolution of any government but the thing was. That could bring protests into the streets. So the King did not do that, he did influence Parliament. Talked regularly with the members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords and spoke about legislation. Mcnernian monarchs were expected to be somewhat enlightened. But the Church was also a prominent figure in Mcnernian society with a lot of land owned. Though in the 21st Century it was going more towards the charitable works. Not towards the enrichment of the societies of missionaries and monasteries. One could say the King with his marriage to the foreign woman who found the monks of Mcnernia, conservative and wary around Homosexuality worthy of patronage and visited monasteries often. Meant that the Mcnernian crown was in good hands.

Any inept action was the result of the government of the day and what they were doing. Not the King’s head. So that meant that Nifon would have to be a bit more careful.

Boythorp Area, McNernia
Meeting with Nihonese Emissary

The Nifonese envoy would be met in the air.
“Attention Nihonese Diplomatic Aircraft this is Southern ADC, have confirmation of your flightplan from Embassy and from the ATC Center at Griffindon, have you on Radar, welcome to Mcnernia…advise I have honor guard of four on the way from MRAF Boythrop they will be with you momentarily.”

An honor guard of four interceptors, the big twin engine birds would launch from the base at Boythorp. Roaring out at super cruise they were a show of force as much as they were a show that Mcnernia was well armed. Mcnernian technology was some of the best in the world and now Mcnernia made use of it to make the Empire a safe and beautiful place and the four air supremacy fighters were some of the best made. If they could not make it they would acquire such weapons as they could to fight. If they needed it And the four that were here were Lyran Shadowhawks. The worlds finest fighter plane though they were not exactly being produced anymore. So the Nihonese Foreign Minister would arrive in the company of four of Mcnernias finest pilots. One taking up off each wing and then another ahead and one behind.

They would pass over the city of Griffindon which on this clear day would be visible from 30,000 or feet, from cruising altitude. The Mcnernian escort leader spoke over the radio. “Down below youll see the city of Griffindon.” And it was lovely with the inner parts of the city full of parkland and the Palace. But the King was not residence there. Not in the heart of glass and steel that made up the sprawling city that was the heart of an Empire.

The place the King was in a city smaller by far than the sea of glass and steel that Griffindon was. The King was in Boythorp. Which was home to an Air Defense Command Air Base, MRAF Boythorp that covered the capital and the pilots that landed behind the VIP jet as it taxied off the runway were stationed there. It was not a small facility by any stretch of the word, it was quite large, large enough for several squadrons of interceptors and to house domestic aircraft seconded to the Royal Family. There would be a MRAF Honor Guard, the Ground Force, troops tasked with securing Airfields in distant lands would handle this with starched summer dress and AR9 rifles. Blue was the color here save on the red uniform of a waiting officer. A prince, His Royal Highness Prince Emett in the Red dress uniform of the Royal Tank Corps, that crack force that had won battles in distant lands against vast powers. He would smile and salute. “Welcome to Boythorp.” He would say. Leading the Minster to the waiting vehicles.

The Ministers detail would be supplemented on this one. Mcnernian Royal Air Force Police had locked the base down and close protection from the Mcnernian Royal Constabulary would help with the motorcade. Which along with the Nihonese would be formidable. Mcnernian Royal Constabulary was not alone when it came to secure the area. Local Police had traffic blocked off to ensure the safe passage. The town was not like much of the cities. Beyond the base where the families were used to such things as a security procedure, Boythorp was not entirely used to such things. It was a town of several thousand people and it was used to the Royal Family coming and going but on the drop of a hat the arrival of diplomats. People were somewhat grumbly. Emmett would answer questions as best he could.

Driving through the town you would see that it was beautiful, with rows of stores and houses, with well kept gardens. Many were built of stone that showed its age quite well with slate roofs. Old houses that had been renovated. Precious few buildings seemed to be modernized, some cities had them and Boythorp was for the most part a very traditional town. With a church and it was a lovely country church like so many, with a steeple and the high cross in the center of the village. Celtic designs of the past of the people were everywhere along with the pride in the Empire. Flags fluttered from windows and quite a few people were veterans of service. In past imperial wars. The Mcnernians valued their military tradition and so they would show it to others, and the faith of their ancestors, a faith in Christ that was great and strong.

The Motorcade would soon arrive at Boythorp house, the residence was set in the middle of lush parkland that allowed the King to walk about in privacy. It was open to the public sometimes. But now it was sealed off, armed guards patrolled the perimeter and the Ministers motorcade would see MRC APCs beyond the two that escorted her to the place, two counter attack teams. Taking no chances in the face of a possible assassination by the agents of those opposed to Nihon. The house itself was brick and grand, a mansion more than a palace, a place where the Royal Family could come to relax or in this case hold secretive summit. Emmett would take his leave here.

The Kings Chamberlain would escort the Minister through the halls to the lounge explaining to her the simple yet strict Royal protocol. Which demanded one should make the proper gestures of respect and speak only if spoken too. The King awaited in a well-appointed study sitting by windows that looked out over the gardens. He was not that young or had the stress of being a symbol aged him. He seemed about 30s, 40s, it was hard to tell. He would bid the Minister be seated and then when the doors were closed. “I do believe you wish to expand relations?”

Imperial Border Corps
N.Western Frontier Command HQ
Archives
January 1962

The Colonel looked at the reports. The border Corps answered to the Viceroy who was a Mcnernian as a part of the armed forces of the territory. They had formed a counter group to the Wenchuani Peoples Archelogical Institute. The special operations group was relatively small and it was a place where archeology mixed with spycraft, commando warfare and…

The Occult

The pre-Hindu artifacts that had been recovered from the mountains. Taken off of two Wenchuani teams that had been intercepted were all dedicated to a serpent of some kind. The Wenchuani folk religion of the dragons of Wenchauan were quite old like this. No one knew exactly how old.

The religion of the mountain tribes seemed to be the one that was dominated by serpents that combatted a sage deity that was like the Wenchuani Imperial Cult of heaven.
The tribes dwelled in high mountain in high mountain cities and with the chronic shift in the temperature. Avalanches had buried many and they had mingle with Hindu and Buddhist.
Minor sects had the inclusion of this ancient civilizations faith. And texts had been translated from the Hindi dialect into English.
The Problem was that a team was missing.

Sitting locked into the archive reading room with two guards outside the Colonel wrote down the key points for making a report to the command in Griffindon. Odds are some big guns would have to be brought in if the situation was this sort of thing bad. If teams of some of the best personell were being defeated potentially by the Wenchuani then who knew what was going here. He took some paper and made some notes. Holding a top secret clearance for the Military Intelligence Corps meant that hhe could do things like this. He worked hard gathering his data. He would need bullet proof paperwork about this.
An occult unit looking for the relics of the past. Kept from the public eye. Military Intelligence knew that the Communists dealing in occult artifacts for money was a possibility.

Muslim Oligarchy

Postby McNernia » Tue Aug 28, 2018 2:14 pm

KhanTech Building
Griffindon, Mcnernia

The Mcnernian government was silent about the refugees that were coming into the country of Magyarija, the little state in the middle of Europe. That now troubled continent, what the racists did not know was that the issue was started in Israel. Jafar Khan, CEO of Khan Tech a company that was holding hundreds of Billions in contracts for the Mcnernian government and had contracts with various other governments that were also looking at this and were interested. In the 1990s there had been insurgency, mujihadeen in the Emirate of Al-Azkar and that had led to Mcnernian intervention, one of the biggest opponents of the Empire had been those who were of a Fundementalist Islamic variety. Not the Greek loving secular Islam that had produced mathematicians. The islam that was now threatened. Khan knew that such things were in mortal peril.
Now he looked at the news from England about the issue, Mcnernia had changed from a colonizer to a different sort of power that had done well enough for the peoples some called still enslaved. But in this world with beasts all around, economic and military unity would do well. Who knew what beasts awaited someone beyond the walls of the border. Now this plague called for Khans attention.
What by Allah must be done about this mob, they are unwashed and desperate, many of them are possibly not even Takfiri, if the Allaneans take them in…we cannot run a mop up if they are far away and behind the Allanean borders. Out of the reach of the servants of Allah. He turned off the news and looked at the books on his shelves. In his corporate study he kept articles of faith such as the quarans the Khan family had made as scribes for the various Idrian nomads. And the states that had dominated the north and West of Idria. The quaran provided guidance. He had finished prayers when he had gotten a message about this thing.
“We could send them…resources…” Sympathizers in the intelligence services no doubt would for the right price turn over data on ISIS in Syria and such. That would be good. Khan could pay them. But the question was. Would they. Would trained intelligence officers since a resort had taken out ones that had been recommended by Redshield and his allies. Redshield had gone dark as the security machine was moving against him even now. Old man Blakeford would eliminate the banking soldier. Then again Khan reflected…back to the business at hand.
He would pen a statement to the government of that little wretched state.
And then he would convene the brotherhood.

SUB:Aid to your Government
Greetings
We in Mcnernias Islamic community know of what you are facing and we know its capacity for violence. There are things that you may not know about the nature of the threat you are facing. Its sources of income and its supporters. We are Muslims who are disgusted with the deeds of ISIS and some of us are prepared to go to Syria and fight.
But that is not why I have contacted you. I represent a group of Muslim businessmen that are most inclined to give you aid so that you might defend yourseleves and the Syrian brothers and sisters who are suffering under the yoke of the Zionists.
We are willing to come to your country.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions.
Sincerely,
Jafar Khan CEO

Meeting of the Haidar Brotherhood
Somewhere near Cardinth

The arrival of businessmen at a resort was never a good sign, it was always a sign that things were going to change. And maybe not for the better. The Haidar brotherhood was many members strong. They rarely met, if you were rich in Mcnernia you could pay for things such as the ability to move about and the security services would not pay you any mind. Private planes landed at Cardinth and the private airstrips nearby that were called into service with the need arising. The arrival of so many private jets was concealed with plenty of money.
Jafar had flown direct from Griffindon, he’d received word that the brotherhood would conevene. He was not the president of the society nor was he the lowest ranking member. They were some of the most powerful muslim figures, sunni and shia named for a man who had stood up to the predecessor of the Takfiri that were now ravaging much of Islam.
The resort was a compound of villas, no mosque, used by all manner of the noble families and the neveau riche. Though more the latter with a lot of the nobility having their own estates that they would retreat to with the close of the Court and social season in the capital. Of course the social season was starting back up so that left room for the Haidar brotherhood to meet in the place.
It was dark when Jafar Khan entered the lounge, coffee was being served and it was a warm August night as it was so often.

“Take your seats brothers I have something that I would discuss urgently with you.” He looked at all of them, no one used real names here, no masks either. To hide ones face was for assassination missions and the female sex that was used by the Takfiri to reproduce. After this there would be a lot of dead takfiri. Jafar when the parliament of a sort had assembled would stand to speak, activating the screen.

He would speak Arabic, one of several languages he knew and a lingua franca for all of those present. The issue was simple, would they provide products or not to this government. The answer was a yes, they at Shah Armaments and Darzda Aviation group would provide as much as they could. A secret message was dispatched to the nation.
Not so long after a front firm was founded to facilitate the armament transfer.

SPEECH TRANSCRIPT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE KINGDOM OF MCNERNIA[/img]http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/8b989c951e929e79802075f454f3189261aac2f4/c=0-0-680-512&r=x404&c=534x401/local/-/media/USATODAY/test/2013/07/30/1375202642000-Sensenbrenner-Jim.JPG[/img]

Good Day to All Concerned Nations

HM Government will not take any action against the Gazdag of Magyarija concerning alledged nuclear weapons in the country. We are considering all options at this time and welcome any nations that wish to join with us in a multi-national effort to deal with the problem at hand.

Thank you and good night.

MRAF Glaston,
HQ MRAF Strategic Command
Officers Club

"A lovely speech if the PM wanted to invite those idiots to bomb our bases in Europe." The mid level officer looked at the news report on his tablet. He worked in intelligence, that meant if you were working at Strat Command you were working on nuclear deterrent, the powers in Moscow were a threat to Europe and with the EU degenerating into the blocs of right wing and left wing, that would lead to potentially Mcnernians being removed from Europe. People said that Mcnernia despite its SACTO relationships was not right wing enough."

"Mind your tounge about the PM. hes appointed by the King and you swore an oath to protect him."

"And Im critical about the PM and his handling of these bastards in Budapest because if we cant protect our interests in Europe with nuclear weapons from the Russians....we will have a contient involved in ethnic cleansing one of these days."

"I sincerely hope your wrong."

The two officers sat in the officers club at Glaston which was a very impressive establishment, whilst balls could be held here it was primarily a place where the officer corps, from the young to the old gathered. Men and more than a few women were here. Air Force blue and not much else. Some civilians.

"Do you think we will ever have to use our weapons?"

"Well just pray that it will never come to that."

Griffindon, McNernia
North Western Areas
Refugee Center

The compound of buildings was home to those who had applied for Asylum and gotten in, people showed up in boats all the time. But now it was a place where there was a need for the police.
“Metro Police, freeze.”

The car had been patrolling the area when it had been called by security. The contractor guard, an older gentleman had looked at the two young cops and said that they would be able to handle whatever had left the tag. It was in Arabic a language that neither of them spoke. A refugee living in the area a man who had come from Hutan in the face of the 1990s insurgency. The head Constable looked at the youth before him. Gun drawn he was looking at a youth in sweatshirt and jeans. Holding a spray can of paint.
“On the ground.” His partner knew some Arabic from his time in Al Azkar.
“On the ground.” He said in Arabic, a thick accent. The man complied, and he was searched and duly informed of his rights. He was young, and either Arabic or Idrian, in the light it was hard to tell.
“I speak English well enough you dimwitted grunt…its disgusting, my brother did not die in Al Azkar just so the fools in Parliament can import such heretics.” The cops moved him to the car, the one who had served in the Army not liking what the youngster had said. But with all the news they did have a point about some things perhaps. It was not his place. It was his job to arrest the boy who’d tagged a refugee center apartment block in Arabic. With something he did not care to know about at all.

Griffindon, S.Griffindon
Offices of Bal Rangi, MP

Bal Rangi was a Sikh and a popular politician. As far as politicians could be in a time when the damoclean sword of a military coup hung over the Mcnernian democracy. The man looked at the report.

“Refugee center in North side vandalized…..”

“Death to Jews sir. Death to Al Saud….”

“And with Angar making that stirring anti-Takfiri speech, I take it people are organizing.” His aide was Mcnernian, from a wealthy enough family. Wanting him to get into Politics and as such hiring out to a Conservative politician as a top ranked secretary was going to have to be good enough. Rangi knew that things were going to be moving in such a manner as to get the government to not take in refugees. It would be giving into the Zionists. Despite being a Sikh and a Conservative, getting involved in this ancient regional dispute would not be good now. So it was resolved, things would be watched and they would wait.
“Evidently intelligence might have something to do with these people, the more patriotic agents don’t like such people as the mujihadeen.”

“Thank you Patrick, you may go.” The man nodded and left, leaving Rangi with his paperwork.

The man looked at the city from the boat, it was impressive, this place that the rebels had built. Of course it was one of several petty states built on the ruins of some other nation. Failed states dotted the world and were presided over by warlords and governments backed in some cases by an indifferent World Assembly waiting to be swallowed up by the nearest empire that came knocking, in this world. One did not go to other planets it seemed, it seemed you merely found more land and quite often that had people on it.

The man was an agent of the Prince, a captian of one of the Hostillian Trading Companies nuclear powered freighters. The company was owned by the senior employees and the boss being a member of the Royal Family and in the line of sucession meant all kinds of good things. As of the now it was best to enjoy the sea air and look at his ship on the Horizon.
