How to cancel Devolution (only)?

Postby The Glorious Third Reign of Templedom » Wed Jun 20, 2018 2:20 am

According to NSindex, the Devolution policy is cancelled by issues #267 and #360, with sundry add-ons like Native Representation, Proportional Representation and Term Limits, etc.

I feel the irresistible urge to rule my nation by executive orders (to fight terrorists). My nation needs a strong, centralised, wholesome and democratic government. So currently is there a way to get rid of Devolution policy only?

Most issues that remove Devolution do so as a side effect of introducing Autocracy (or Sortition), which is why they also affect all those other policies you listed. Note that these don't really remove the Devolution policy, just hide it - if you later reintroduce democracy, you'll get Devolution back. There is discussion underway on making Devolution not be supressed by Autocracy at all.

The only issue which can currently remove Devolution without adding Autocracy is the one The Free Joy State mentioned (be sure to pick option 1).

Well thanks, as it took me half a year to clear 700+ issues (which included #345), I guess I should be able to get rid of Devolution by Christmas!
