weren't part of the original won't know
most of the references or that some of
the rules have been changed, but this

Additional Info:At the outbreak of World War II, Portugal was ruled by António de Oliveira Salazar, the man who in 1933 had founded the Estado Novo ("New State"), the corporatism authoritarian government that ruled Portugal until 1974. Salazar's dislike of the Nazi regime in Germany and its imperial ambitions was tempered only by his view of the German Reich as a bastion against the spread of communism. He had favored the Spanish nationalist cause, fearing a communist invasion of Portugal, yet he was uneasy at the prospect of a Spanish government bolstered by strong ties with the Axis. Salazar's policy of neutrality for Portugal in World War II thus included a strategic component. The country still held overseas territories that, because of their poor economic development, could not adequately defend themselves from military attack.

Additional Info: The British empire was one of the major figures in WWII, fighting for the bulk of the war and successfully beating back the Germans. Lesser known is the involvement of the Canadians, who while smaller in size, contributed nearly a million soldiers, and provided 20-40% of the mechanized forces for the allied of the war, outpacing the Japanese, Germans, and Italians in terms of total vehicle production. The Canadian forces fought on D-Day, and many other key battles, contributing heavily to the special forces and airborne units of many nations, due to the perceived expertise of the Canadian woodsman's capabilities, tolerance to the snow (of which Germany had many cold areas), and shortage of manpower for the rest of the allied forces. While not as large as many other nations, nearly 10% of their nation, or 1 million men contributed to the war effort, and the CMP truck, or Canadian military pattern truck, contributed heavily to the success of the British, serving as their primary transport vehicle. While a mere 8% of the german forces were mechanized, the majority of British forces were, giving them the ability to quickly outpace their enemies and deploy heavier weapons mounted on vehicles to attack their enemies. This was instrumental in their success, and while many of the vehicles were unarmored they outdid the largely horse and mule based transport of the germans.

The British were one of the finest and largest military's of the war, with many of the best trained men and equipment, achieving milestones such as a heavily mechanized military and one of the first computers to be fielded not only in military service, but the world. Small organizational and weapons changes are present in the units, representing a minor shift in tactics.

Additional Info: In 1919. Italy would sign a peace agreement with the newly established republic of Turkey, to not take part in any conflicts in the borders of Anatolia. The Italians would then begin to build ties to Mustafa Kemal, and by the end of the War even supplied Turkish Troops. This would begin to build sentiment against the Greeks. First their was the fact that the Greeks were Orthodox and not Catholic, but the Italians would place blame on Greece for not helping the allied powers in the first world war. A young politician by the name of Benito Mussolini would give talks in France and Britain that if the Greeks had helped in the First World War their would've been far fewer casualties in battles against the ottoman empire and Gallipoli would have been a military success. He also said if the Greeks had joined the war then Serbia wouldn't have fallen. Mussolini's attacks had a focus point on group of people, the King and leaders of Greece at the time. He said that Greece had been mislead by the King and their corrupt officials. This idea helped fuel the greek populace into several riots not only because of mussolini's statements but also because of the Greek Loss in the Turkish War of Independence. When Mussolini came to power in 1922 he would help elevate a puppet government into control of Greece this would slowly help Mussolini gain fuel in Greece and by 1928 Italy had signed a treaty with Greece to unite with the country. Following this Mussolini state that they were all part of a new prosperous Mediterranean state helping stabilize the country.
