This was my problem with the core conceit of this movie. In four attempts to interact with dinosaurs it has gone south every time. No interaction with humans and dinosaurs has worked out to not be a huge disaster resulting in the lose of human life. Jeff Goldblum's testimony should have been, "Seriously? When has this ever worked out? For anyone? Ever?" Not only was it a no-brainer to let that island wipe out the dinosaurs it was also a no-brainer to put serious restrictions on the type of genetic engineering that caused this disaster in the first place. As already pointed out, the process exists and the material does as well, if there could be a case made that honest cross my heart pinky swear this time it won't be a total fuckfest of textbook hubris, we could make another dino. In fact, the ability to genetically recreate extinct creatures brings the whole notion of endangered species to be newly reconsidered. Do we really have people protect the last white rhino or just whip up a whole batch of new white rhinos? It would seem more relevant to address animals already part of our ecosystem than to reintroduce creatures that require megafuana to survive and therefore have to create conditions in which there can be megafuana because we don't live in that climate anymore.

I got dragged along to that dumpster fire of a movie, was not impress at all, but then again, I have never been a fan of the movie series.

Disney would most likely assign the employees they were looking to fire to be in charge of the dino part of the park. It's a win-win, the dinos get fed and Disney saves a ton on unemployment benefits.

I'm sure the amount they'd lose in lawsuits for having an unsafe work environment would be much more than the money they save from dino food costs and unemployment benefits.
