Given the Philippinaean society's strong disapproval for LGBTQ+ people, the idea of them being in any government position is extremely abhorrent.

Neither of our leaders have been LGBTQ+ as both Qiu Yaoxiang and I are straight.

LGBT people are so normalized in our society that most people wouldn't think much of it. Gay and straight people are seen as the same, and it is straight up illegal to deny someone a job based off their sexuality alone. Any discrimination in the workforce that is done in a serious manner is punishable by being either removed from the job or in more extreme cases trial by animal. As for trans people, body modification is protected under freedom of expression, and they are also protected under the law. Gender dysphoria is more so seen as wanting different body parts and not as defying gender norms since in our culture gender norms aren't much of a seen, men and women are equal and each serve the same jobs, the only real cultural difference is the body parts.
