How does YN treat refugees?

Very well, during WWII we helped Roma,,Libyan,Sinti,gay,black,jehovah witness,political dissident and Jewish refugees etc. by giving them asylum and equal opportunities.
We had a program specifically designed to help Jews, a program specifically designed to help Muslim Roma escape and a program to help Libyan Muslims escape. Then we helped the Palestinians.
We helped black refugees from the deep south in the 1960s and from them we got many post-colonial theorists, Christian and Muslim theologians, lawyers and jazz musicians.
Then later we helped Bosnians,Chechnyans and many black panthers. This lead to more in intelligent ideas and a sense of Islamic ideas but some people opposed it.

In the 200s we are helping many Syrian,Libyan, Haitian,transgender American and Black Lives Matter(as well as Antifa) refugees get to safety (OOC: I am talking about RL America)

Kyneland usually accepts refugees, but it hasn’t been a popular destination in the past millennium except for pagans or heathens escaping from Christian persecution.

As Kyneland became under Nazi rule in the ‘40s, it didn’t become a haven for Jews or any others. It did, however, allow Germans and others escaping from places they felt not right in after the war.

Nowadays, Kyneland actively seeks to rescue persecuted (atheistic, secular, gay, etc) persons living in theocracies and usually accepts refugees or applicants who seek refuge in the country. Illegal refugees are processed as usual, but are usually deported back to the mainland.

We get little to no refugees due to the fact we are so far up North. However, on the rare occasion we do have a refugee, the community showers them with food, money and clothes and allow them to become Llaltese citizens, getting the bonuses like free health care and education.
