Now, my friends, if you insist that being gay is wrong, that is okay and your opinion. That does not mean that you are allowed to use your opinion to ruin people's lives. You can't say that LGBTQ+ people don't deserve medical treatment, a good education, a home, or even a hecking wedding cake and then try to enforce your opinion. Your opinion is just that - an opinion. As soon as your opinion causes another human being unnecessary pain or suffering, you no longer should have a right to have this opinion. It is cruel, dehumanizing, and simply wrong. Your God never went around making people's lives so difficult, did he? He went and ate dinner with people instead of refusing to give them a cake. He forgave them instead of letting them sit in a tree forever. Follow your religion or don't, but don't hurt other people.

Thing is, Christianity is a quite blatantly homophobic religion, just as it's blatantly sexist. Gay Christians (the non-self-hating kind, anyway) are like the archetypal woman who turns up to work every day with a fresh black eye but insists that she's just clumsy and her marriage is a very happy one. No, really.

I'm with Audioslavia. It reads as opinion, not trolling. The only part that's even close is the parenthetical segment about gay Christians, and it's not close enough for a ruling.

Not that it matters much to me in the end since I'm a proud baby-eating athiest that refuses to share. But I did escape the Moron, I mean Mormon, church....er cult, so I do have religious experience.

I viewed the Mormon comment as an attack on the church, not on the individuals within it. The California comment I don't see as actionable.

Last I checked, the Mormon Church is an organization, not a person. It would be different if it was directed at Mormons, as in those who follow that faith, but it wasn't.
