President Nicolás Maduro and former Popular Governor of the State of Lara Henri Falcón.

On Sunday May 20 2018, the Democratic Bolivarian Revolutionary Chavista Republic of NS Venezuela, will hold a new Presidential election, the main candidates are President Nicolás Maduro of the United Socialist Movement Party PSUV and Henri Falcón of the Center Left Progressive Advancement Party APP, a former popular Governor of the State of Lara, and former disillusioned Chavista supporter.

The main opposition Democratic Unity Party Coalition MUD, has decided not to participate in the elections it calls unfair, and undemocratic, but has endorsed Henri Falcón just in case, the official results will be posted only after all the ballots are counted and a winner declared by the National Electoral Council CNE.

NS Venezuela has an inflation rate in the thousand and so Percent %, day before the presidential election at least 50 000 persons crossed the border bridge from Venezuela to NS Bogota Colombia, then back home again, to buy food and other products hard to find at home, and very expensive $ on the black market, while millions of Venezuelans are in exile in other nations including NS Bogota Colombia. The EU Council of Nations has denounced the Presidential election as a farce, and calls on the government to conduct fair and free democratic elections.

The Group of Lima nations, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Peru, Guyana and Saint Lucia calls on the governing National Constituent National Assembly of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro for the release of all political prisoners, fair and free democratic Presidential and Parliamentary elections, and offers economic, social and humanitarian aid.

The Group of Lima, and The USA of America will not recognize the expected Presidential election results, who do you support, who do you think will win and why, and will your nation recognize the presidential election results no matter who wins, do you expect the election results to be fair and democratic or a government farce with fraud election results? Vote and Post Pro and Con.

Our government recognizes the election results, but we are dissapointed that the APP has lost. The MUD's boycott of the election is responsible for Maduro's victory. We hope that the APP will defeat the PSUV and the MUD in the next election.
