How does your nation treat the homeless?

Postby Vallermoore » Sat Apr 28, 2018 5:02 pm

Do they help them? Execute them? Something else? Here everyone who is not an illegal immigrant or a serious criminal has a right to housing.

We have high-rise no/low-rent apartments that are intended for use for anyone who would otherwise be homeless. That's how we deal with them, by giving them a place to live at little to no cost.

They're not the fanciest or highest quality apartments, mind, but they are a place for someone to sleep, cook, eat, and relax.

Just ignore them, step over them and clean up the bodies when they die. Occasionally tourists will give money to the homeless, but most Radiatians will ignore them.

We dont really have much homeless people, But, there are job fairs and other types of programs to help get them back on their feet, and donations aswell from several charities.
Axuva Today Network [ATN] Today we announce that the Axuvian Government now recognizes The Russian Language as an Official Language, Korean and English were spoken in the beginning, but there were Russians too, russians were forgotten and their language were not recognized due to the things they did in the past, but now their language is a official language of Axuva, and there will now be 3 official languages instead of two.

There are no homeless, the government will house you the second you are displaced, although their housing isn’t always the most serene and likeable, it is still fully functional.

We give them a place to sleep, food to eat, and medical treatment.
All they have to do is sign their life away to be used for scientific experimentation for military purposes. If it's successful, great! If not, the failures are tossed out into the wasteland or dumped into the ocean.

Suhurbia's treatment of the homeless differs in each division, due to different views and beliefs. In the North Division, East Division, and especially the Northeast Division, there are no homeless, as when a person becomes homeless, people often become concerned and help them in some way. In the East Division, the help comes in charity, in the North Division it comes in social welfare. The Northeast combines the relationship and cooperative natured Eastern culture and the empathetic, compassionate attitudes of Northern culture making for a very humanitarian culture.

On the other hand, in the South Division, West Division, and the Southwest Division, the homeless aren't so favored in their societies. So instead of getting support, what would most often happen is that the homeless gets stepped on. Unlike the other three, these divisions value independence and self sufficiency so highly dependent people may face a lot of challenges here.

The Northwest Division is more compassionate towards the homeless than their Western and especially Southwestern counterparts, due to their influence by the compassionate culture and ideology of the North Division. Though they are only helped to a degree, to "get back on their feet", as the Northwest still values self sufficiency. Though they aren't cold and apathetic unlike the Southwest, who strongly values strength and independence.

The Southeast Division, like the Northwest, is moderate with their attitudes towards the homeless, though in very different ways. Like the East Division, they are co operative, but they still value independence so there may be help seminars for the homeless.

They are used for human sacrifices in rituals, and human experiments in labs. So in other words, the homeless don’t matter in this society and are completely expendable.

The government is always trying to help people stay off the street. Homelessness is relatively rare as a result, but socially is seen as somewhat of a moral failing regardless of circumstances (seeing as how the government does so much for you and you still live under an overpass).

There are no homeless, except for those who continually reject any efforts to help them.

First off, the government provides services so few become homeless in the first place. If someone doesn't have a job, the Department of Labor will help them find a job that .arches their qualifications and interests. If someone cannot work due to injury, disability, illness, or age, they are given welfare (the amount is based on corcumstance, someone who chooses not to work will get minimal payment, but an elderly or disabled person will get enough to have a relatively-comfortable life, as long as they don't spend in excess). Things like healthcare, education, and basic job training are free.

If someone IS homeless, they receive the "King's Aid Package" (the same package refugees get). It includes meal and grocery vouchers, clothing vouchers, housing aid, petty cash (given per day or week, not all at once), and free sessions with a Department of Labor jobfinder OR, If unable to work, a Department of Welfare case worker to find a more sustainable form of welfare.

Your average resident will be greatly dismayed by a homeless outbreak, and will engage in esoteric signaling games to find a way to contain this visible display of poverty into something more inconspicuous. The authorities and service providers typically will oblige accordingly - the homeless are either granted option to evict themselves from the premise into somewhere else that will presumably accept them, or granted optimally-designed hexagonal prismatic residence in exchange of labor and surveillance.

The central authority, partly to facilitate mobility, also provides cheap housing vouchers, although on terms only marginally less strict than that of private enterprises.

Housing is guaranteed to all New Englanders by law, and theoretically there is enough housing for everyone. However, there are those who find themselves homeless. The majority of homeless people in New England are troubled youth, drug addicts, or mentally ill (or some combination thereof). The government maintains social service programs to help homeless people get off the streets.

Homelessness has been practically eradicated in the Empire, as all homeless people are required to come back to active duty in the military (all citizens are drafted into the military at 16, serve for ten years, and then are put into reserve. They exit reserve at age 65 and enter the Senior Citizens Militia, where they remain ready to protect the Fatherland from invasion) or, they must enter voluntary servitude for a period of two years, and after that time the government will pay them handsomely. If they become homeless for a second time, they executed by Main Battle Tank fire.
