Dear Minister,

Thank you for your letter of 27 April 2018 and decision regarding the listing of your government trade programme, “America and Europe free trade treaty”, on the Global Economics and Trade index. The response to your programme on the equal trade and commerce between peaceful nation states falls within my delegated responsibility as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of Embassy and Consulate Programme.

The Thirty-sixth Christian Democratic Executive Council (out of character information: the current Yohannesian government), takes the issues associated with foreign trade very seriously and will therefore make clear its intention to join the American and Europe Free Trade Treaty as kick-started by your government.

Inter-nation state trade of goods included under the category (i) financial products (civilian), (ii) chemical products and material engineering sub components (military), and (iii) Precious metal (civilian and military) in accordance with the Lack of Domestic Supply Amendment Act 2015 are our top priority at present. As an island nation with 379 million population and limited resources, Yohannes cannot afford to manufacture nor can it claim that it has the industrial capacity to make all the sub components and things required to build the finished goods it has exported to other nations for years. The solution to that problem is obvious: it outsource its industrial capacity and resources abroad, whilst at the same time importing many complementary finished and industrial goods and raw materials from outside nations.

Alleswerken AG is the nation state owned enterprise responsible to deal with the above issues (i.e. import coordination). At its heart, Alleswerken is a general trading entity and is the institutional face of the nineteen countries’ (out of character information: my nation) general trade philosophy of business. General trade means the dealing of general commerce — on one end, it supplies large volumes of raw materials imported from foreign manufacturers or producers overseas for companies, distributors, and retailers in Yohannes. For instance, if a business — company or any other institution — from your nation is well known for its exported products, Alleswerken will gladly buy those products from these companies to import them to Yohannes.

However, I understand that it is likely that the composition of trade between Yohannes and other members of the America and Europe Free Trade Treaty will be driven by supply and demand for complementary products which best represent the relationship, or difference, between the economy of the nineteen countries and other members of the America and Europe Free Trade Treaty.
