Have you ever felt like the system of states provided in this universe, to a certain level, makes no sense? There are too many self-proclaimed nation states with sovereignty but with no real power. Instead of being a real system of states, it reminds us of the pre-Westphalian system, before the invention of nation state itself.
However, instead of whining and complaining to the Creator of this universe, Maxus Barrius-known in my religion as Leve, I, Ted Rijgomu shall propose a solution: to change our views and cooperate in making history. That is to say, to carry out a political experiment. Let me first explain you what I meant by the two proposals.
By changing our views, I meant to invite you to see differently what Maxus Barrius defined as states and regions in the universal holy book-the Help. I, Ted Rijgomu from Chebruze, believe that it would be far more convenient to see "states" as lesser political units such as provinces, states (as in the United States), or even political parties. I believe that it would be more fitting to see "Regions" as the real nation states.
The first proposal therefore leads to the second-to join and contribute in building the new nation state that I established, the Nivertu Republic. I have scribbled out a few basic rules, but every member of the Republic would be able to recreate the rules through democratic means. These rules are more or less as follows:
1. To maintain a serious and harmonious statecraft, that is to say, to take the role play seriously
2. To ensure that their form of political unit is a COMMUNITY by changing it before or shortly after joining in
3. The Community is to be compared with the states in a federal state, which have rights and representation in the federal (a.k.a 'Region' in NationStates) government
4. To follow the uniform symbols of the Republic that shall be decided in an inclusive and democratic way
(single currency, single demonym, and attaching the national coat-of-arms on each Community's banner)
5. To not represent each Community not by its entirety, but using individual representatives (Member Communities must assign names of delegations for every discussion, e.g. Ugremi Yuly from Chebruze) for a realistic parliamentary roleplay
6. To ensure the establishment of a democratic system, which includes presidential elections (election of WA delegates) and discussions to resolve every matter
7. The president of the Republic is the political leader of the Community serving as WA delegate
8. To safeguard the security and sovereignty of the Republic from internal and external threats.
