Whoever can faithfully support the working class movement, regardless of sect and free of foreign meddling, in Lebanon.

So probably LCP or Sabaa depending on the specifics.

Not Hezbollah.

Honestly Lebanon will not be a stable country until they manage to move past the need for Confessionalism and muster enough faith in elections to trust that the process will result in a representative legislature. The taboo of taking a census to update the Taif Agreement (which was meant to be temporary) and update the 50-50 Split which was most certainly not accurate to the actual make up of the country unfortunately both highlights the failures of Confessionalism and the mistrust of the electoral system that ends up necessitating it. I am legitimately afraid they will have another Civil War in the nearish future.

Yet another example of how we Sunnis need to get good at politics. The Sunni party seem kinda meh, and Hezbollah are pretty funky. Not sure I support them, but left wing islamism is good. Pity they're shia...

Other than Hezbollah, the only explicitly Islamist party is the regional Muslim Brotherhood faction, which holds one seat.

Hezbollah did say it wasn't seeking a parliamentary majority these elections.
I dare you all to find a nation in which a party runs for election trying not to win.

Probably because they plan on renewed violence. People where actually flying Hezbollah flags recently - publicly - instead of the official Lebanese one, from what I've heard. Lebanon, unfortunately, is in a very unstable state :(

I saw that, but it was a bit confusing. No party stands a chance of winning a majority on it's own, so what's the significance?

Daesh is spectacularly unislamic, despite their very vocal claims.

Partitions have practically never worked out, especially not in the Middle East.
