It's just the start of 1939. Hitler has already gained power, Mussolini has taken Ethiopia, and Japan has seized control on the Chinese coast. The confidence in Josef Stalin throughout the mid-30's declined in the Soviet people due to Stalin's purges, so the Soviet People overthrew him and replaced him with his successor, Nikita Khrushchev. Hitler has planned to spread East into poland. Down in the Balkans, Yugoslavia had a turn for the worse when the Croats, Bosnians, and Slovenians were tired of pro-serbian rule and created their own pro-fascist Democratic State. Hitler has already completed anschluss and looks around at his neighbors. The Czechoslovakian government was filed for being corrupt and was ousted by a Socialist Government in February, 1939.
The Chinese Shanxi Clique justified war goals against multiple surrounding Cliques, such as the Anhui, Ma, Sichuan, and the Shandong. Their troops moved ferociously throughout the Cliques, quickly seizing control. Some Russian backed Forces in Manchuria engaged the Japanese in Northern Korea, most notably in Chosin, where the Japanese were successful in the first few days, although the Manchurian forces pushed through the Japanese defences and captured Chosin, which saw a turning point in the Japanese conquest in China.
Multiple discussions in South America involving Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia have been taking place, which succeeded in forming the Kingdom of La Plata, a large and powerful kingdom that could be compared to Brazil. The Kingdom, a pro-Axis state which has large ties with Germany, gained access to German weapons and gear to expand throughout South America and eliminate the United States if the time had come.
Revolutions throughout Alaska have been taking place throughout the Early to mid-1930s, asking America to give independence, although the Americans refused, the Alaskan Revolutionaries were Armed by unmarked Germans, trying to enforce a new Fascist Regime in the Americas. American Armies made their way through Canada, but both the Canadians and Americans thought that going through transit process with the Soldiers was making everything difficult, so the Canadians handed over British Columbia and the Yukon. The Troops rushed through into Alaska quickly, luckily, the Alaskans didn't have that much weaponry provided, most since a blockade surrounded Alaska, preventing the Germans from sending more weapons. the Revolutions were brought down and Alaska became a state once again. This conflict would be known as "The Alaska Crisis".
