The support company began firing their mortars into the Ywrbeauon lines while the 36th Cavalry Division and the 139th Rifle Division would attempt a counter attack to breakout of the pocket. The Cavalry would charge at Ywrbeauon tanks and infantry, while the 139th Rifle Division charged along with them but from behind. The mortar shells were still firing by the time this happened.
