Tehran, Parliament of Greater Persia
In an emergency session the MPs moved about, talking together in hushed tones. The clouds of war had gathered, the Ottomans had armed terrorists in Persia, had threatened Persia's neighbors and allies, and amassed an army of Islamists to destroy democracy in the Near East, it was the job of the Near East Accord to defend the region against Ottoman aggression. The crescent would not reimpose itself across all the Near East. The secured cables from foreign governments came in, NAF, NMF, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Zackaroth, HDUHA, all giving the NEA a blank cheque to end Ottoman imperialism for good, or pledging cooperation, or coordinating military strikes. The Speaker called the Assembly to order. Prime Minister Akbar entered the hall and took his seat, this was a parliamentary system and he was an MP. There was thunderous applause from both parties as he called for war. The vote was passed with an overwhelming majority. The New Democracy party were dovish, and opposed war, they promoted further negotiation, some UIC members opposed anything Akbar did and sympathized with the Turks, even if they were Sunni, they also voted no. But it passed. The Persian ambassador was already in his apartment in Tehran. The Persian Embassy in Ankara was abandoned and padlocked shut. All sensitive documents had been taken to Tehran, and all non essential documents were shredded or burned, or both. The diplomatic cable was sent to Ankara.
I regret to say that as of the time you receive this message, a state of war now exists between the Republic of Greater Persia and the Ottoman Empire.
The Prime Minister immediately went to his residence, he ordered civil alert sirens be activated, the Air Defense System be activated, all contingency plans, namely Orders 64, 65, 66, and 67 be executed, and then he proceeded to the underground train underneath his residence, which proceeded to the emergency government headquarters. PM Akbar from there delivered a message to all Persians.

Across the Frontier
Across the roughly 180 Mile Border Persia shared with the Ottoman Empire, the attack had begun. The V, VI, II, and IX Army Corp began their attack. MLRS systems across the frontier opened fire. Targeting Ottoman troop positions across the frontier. Artillery guns across the frontier opened fire, and self-propelled guns opened fire as well. And everyone changed position to confuse the enemy. Cruise Missiles were fired from within Persia at Ottoman positions across the border. The bombardment continued for a few hours. All new, state of the art Zulfiquar IV tanks rushed over the frontier, supported by infantry armored equipment, the rockets and shells continued to fire always just ahead of them. The Ottoman frontier positions and border posts must have been pulverized by this point, and now Persian mechanized forces shot forward. The Offensive had begun.
In Kurdistan the III and IV Army Corp began a similar attack, a lengthy and intense bombardment on Turkish border positions began. Followed by the rush of infantry and tanks across the border. Kurdish Peshmerga supported Persians at the frontier, Kurdish artillery supported the bombardment and Peshmerga manned posts across the frontier. The attack from Kurdistan would have equal intensity of a people ready to resist imperialism.
In Syria, Zackarothian and Persian forces had gathered to destroy Ottoman imperial control over Latakia. The X Army Corp and Persian troops already stationed in Aleppo and in Syria since the Second Syrian Civil War had gathered towards the city for some time now. A Persian fleet had gathered outside the fleet as well. The missile cruisers outside the city began a barrage of cruise missiles on Ottoman military installations, ships, and troop positions inside or in the outskirts of the city. 75 Cruise Missiles were fired, the aircraft carrier Mosaddegh launched attack Mirage planes. Each one quickly darting towards the city, delivering a payload against military installations and returning back to the carrier, taking some losses depending on the air defense capabilities of the city. At the same time artillery and MLRS systems began firing from Homs and Hama, just like in the song. The X Army Corp rushed into Ottoman territory behind the bombardment, Zulfiquar III and IV Tanks tearing through the territory. Syrian soldiers supported them across the frontier, fighting for their homeland. At Aleppo, Persian soldiers pressed the attack in a similar manner. Cruise missiles and all, the attack commenced with Syrian support.
At the same time, the electronic army of Persia began launching DDoS attacks on government websites, financial services websites, and any website with connections to Turkish military-industrial complex or banks. They also attempted to extract information from the Turks, sensitive intelligence and the like.
The war had begun.
