Banned from my own Region

Postby Cheesedominia » Wed Jan 24, 2018 1:15 am

I recently made a region for an dicord server I own and I logged in today to see people telling me I was banned from my own region.. even though I owned it. What’s up with that.

As founder you still have access to regional controls, so you can remove yourself from the ban list and go back.
it's basically impossible to oust an active executive founder.

Don't want to get involved, but it looks like you gave your WA Delegate too much power. The result? They can pretty much do whatever they want with the region, which includes kicking people. That's weird, never thought it was possible for a delegate to have more power than a founder.

You're supposed to make WA Delegate someone you can trust. Like, really really trust, not just any random person.

imo, they might not be abusing their power. Probably just messing with you or testing things out or something. Could be wrong though...

Just clear yourself from the ban list and re-join. You could also make the delegate non-executive, meaning they won't have controls over ejecting nations and such, if you don't want a repeat of this.
Hello! I’m a GAer and NS Roleplayer from the United Kingdom.
My pronouns are he/him.
Any posts that I make as GenSec will be clearly marked as such and OOC. Conversely, my IC ambassador in the General Assembly is Ambassador Fortier. I’m always happy to discuss ideas about proposals, particularly if grammar or wording are in issue. I am also Executive Deputy Minister for the WA Ministry of TNP.
Kenmoria is an illiberal yet democratic nation pursuing the goals of communism in a semi-effective fashion. It has a very broad diplomatic presence despite being economically developing, mainly to seek help in recovering from the effect of a recent civil war. Read the factbook here for more information; perhaps, I will eventually finish it.

Go here: https://www.nationstates.net/page=regio ... on=theboys

Remove yourself from the ban list.

Walk back into your region.

Ban the person who banned you.

You don't "make" the WA delegate anyone. The WA delegate is based on the endorsements of everyone in the region, the founder doesn't get to choose who it is (except through crude bludgeoning, which is hardly reliable).

Depowering the delegate position is a good idea, however.
