Germany Falling... Take Two!!!

Well, what a mess with the AFD making inroads and the Social Democrats and Christian Democrats only just making a coalition. What is your opinion on the German mess?

To be honest, jam just relieved that they managed to keep the AFD out of government. Otherwise, Germany would have suddenly become a state of bigoted racists!

Nobody likes Germany though.

Maybe Scandinavia, Benelux, the Government of France and half of Austria. Merkel managed to make a greater percentage of the European population hate Germany than Wilhelm II did, each region for different reasons.

I would call it a mess, coalitions take time to forge. If this grand coalition happens then it'll have a clear and heavy majority in the Bundestag. Meaning will get roughly the same thing out of them until 2021 at the most.

Well, yes, a relief. But the AFD did not have a majority or even a simple plurality in the Bundestag, and all of the other political parties refuse to make a coalition with them. So there was not a possibility that the AFD would form a government. The real concern is that the remaining parties could not agree to form a successful coalition at all and they would need to have an election all over again. And who knows what that might have led to? Even if it worked out well in the end, it would be a very tense situation.

So where does this leave the self proclaimed queen of Europe? Does she get more power than before, less? What's the deal?
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.
