The virus has taken on a form, or in a better form a new strain of virus has taken over, as the Yellow Dust Virus' original strain had all but killed itself off in the process of infection, as death rates became higher than infection rates; the inflamation of brain tissue and subsequent high internal pH levels is rumored to have been the downfall of version one of the virus. The new virus, a sister virus, seems benign in nature, and the symptoms once seen in the YDV during it's initial phases are all but gone now, accept for the aforementioned black splotches which seem to be nothing more than a cluster of dead tissue cells that manifest on the chest and armpits. The number of asymptomatic patents exceed over 3.9 billion of the general population on the planet. With this in mind, many of the asymptomatic patents have now risen up against the government who have been out for their slaughter and systematic destruction r, as the asymptomatic peoples are now dominant in the world.
Is this the work of the virus? Or is this a true rebellion?
Could this global revolution bring way to a new world order? Or will it be crushed by the boots of surviving countries?
Only time will tell...
See You Around Space Cowboy.
2025 was the year the end began. Following the devastation of North America by the Yellowstone supervolcano that triggered volcanic eruptions and massive earthquakes all over the world, the virulent sickness known as the Yellow Dust Virus spread across the world, killing billions and toppling nations. By the time the virus mutated and became asymptomatic, only two functioning governments remained in the world: the Imperial Federation of Hespero-Belkia, the leader of Europe which survived due to its proactive response to the crises, and the technologically advanced island nation of Tarazed, which survived due to its isolation. A major topic of debate between the two surviving governments was the fate of the 3.9 billion asymptomatic people. Hespero-Belkia sought to protect the rights of the “Dusters,” seeing them as equally human and declaring that there had been enough death, while Tarazed considered the “Infected” to be dangerous mutants who needed to be purged to ensure the survival of true humanity. The world was on the brink of a new war, as Tarazed launched a campaign of extermination across East Asia with orbital weapons and Hespero-Belkia began assembling a coalition of allies from the world’s remaining governments and militaries. But by the time both sides were ready for battle, a new enemy emerged… from beneath the ashes-covered wastes of western North America, an army of robots assembled by MODI-01, former AI overlord of the fallen Eldenian Imperium, marched forth on a mission of world conquest. Belkia and Tarazed were forced to put aside their differences, and the “Duster Question,” to ensure the survival of all of humanity.
The Machine War further devastated Earth, killing hundreds of millions and leveling even more of the remnants of civilization. By 2030, Belkian and Tarazedian leaders realized that there was no way to defeat MODI without rendering Earth completely uninhabitable. Not willing to submit to MODI’s rule, a radical solution was proposed: to move as many humans off of Earth as possible and start anew on another planet. Tarazedian scientists, due to their advanced space program, had already identified several potentially habitable worlds relatively close to the Solar System. The problem, of course, was how to get there. But there was a solution to that too. Beneath their primary R&D center, Site 31, Tarazed had uncovered a piece of alien technology which they dubbed a “Stargate” and had been reverse-engineering it for decades. They were close to a breakthrough that would allow for faster-than-light space travel. Tarazed pointed Belkia towards another Stargate located in Egypt, and assisted them in their research. The first prototype ships were ready by the late 2030s, and scouts arrived at the planets to be colonized. The evacuation formally began in 2032, with Tarazed moving its people to the world of Tarazedia Prime instantly, and Belkia, slowly, evacuating its people and as many from its neighbors as possible to the world of Ashimar. By 2060, the evacuation was complete and teams of brave volunteers who stayed behind destroyed the Stargates and all research data to prevent MODI from acquiring the means to leave the Solar System. But as Belkia and Tarazed began anew among the stars, nearly two billion surviving humans remained on Earth, slaves of MODI and its machine armies. Under MODI’s guidance, a new society was forged. The majority of humans lived as laborers known as Servants, who were overseen by the Managers while Executives, human collaborators descended from those who willingly submitted to the machines and were rewarded with cybernetic augmentation and enhancement, control vast swaths of land. MODI aimed to rebuild Earth and ensure its reign was eternal. Yet the Belkians and Tarazedians were smart and destroyed all their satellites in orbit trapping MODI in a prison of debris orbiting the earth. Even if MODI were to break orbit it wouldn't be able to find them because it wouldn't know where they went
2225 AD
The Tarazedian Imperium and the Belkian Solar Federation had lived in an uneasy peace for centuries. While the BSF had fully integrated Dusters into its society, Tarazed still considered them mutants that needed to be purged, and maintained a population of entirely pure humans. The people had all but forgotten about MODI as they adapted to their new planets, met aliens, and colonized solar systems. Yet, on the Martian moon Phobos a joint military base between the two was built in the 2100s as a symbol of peace. Most saw the base as the end of their careers. Soldiers mostly lounged around waiting to leave, yet on February 3rd, 2225 the dullness was broken. Alarms sounded and personnel scrambled to their posts as unknown ships were detected landing on Mars...

Unclaimed solar systems can be claimed but they take awhile before they will produce resources such as minerals or populations. During that time they can still be claimed by a new player if such an event occurs the two or more players involved will have to RP out who gets what.
Players that leave, by any means, will have their “imperium, Federation, or whatever” fall into rebellion for a while.
Wars
- Travel times and logistics must be taken into account - it can take weeks or months for a fleet to travel across the space or for an army to march across a planet.
- Wars will be overseen by mods - outcomes of battles will be decided by mods if the involved players can’t come to a consensus.
- Don’t ragequit the RP because you lost or are losing - stay in the game and try to make a comeback! Players who ragequit won’t be allowed to rejoin for 1 month.
Tech:
Please post tech you want to add in the OOC so it can be approved. For the most part you just need to be able to explain how it works in a basic sense.
Mods
- Respect the rulings of mods
- Mods are Hespero-Belkia, Nieblham, Tarazed, Equalsun
- Tarazed’s rulings are final
“MAP”
This map has a "radius" of 130 LYs
You are free to rename the solar systems but please mark where they are on your app.
Try to keep the solar systems you claim to close together, that’d prolly be easier on domestic trade and protecting them.
You are free to draw/design what your home/colonized solar systems look like (in terms of distance from Sun, arrangement, etc)
Our solar system named “Sol” by MODI is not initially claimable but can be IC
There can be multiple Players in the same Solar system.
Players with overlapping claims must work together to determine what that system looks like with preference going to the player who claims it as a home solar system, if there are any.

NS Name: Nieblham
Sector Claim: Pink in India,
Executive family name: Shinra
Details on Sector: Pondicherry Sector.
The Shinra family under Rufus Shinra, was able to stage a coup in Nieblham during the Robot wars with the help of the Soldiers First Class under Sephiroth. For his loyalty Rufus Shinra was one of the first humans to receive cybernetic augmentations that helped limit YDV and extend his life all the way to 2225.
Population 2.5 Billion
Capital Pondicherry
Specialization: The Pondichery Sector Specializes in Military research and production of advanced weapons for MODI drone army.
Details on Military
Soldier First Class (10k personal) are highly trained special forces each equipped with cybernetics. They utilize full auto laser rifles, personal railguns, and are highly trained in close quarters combat with their swords. The SFC makes great use of Materia as well.
Turks: (5k personal) are a corporate police force meant to watch over the Managers in Pondicherry. They specialize in espionage and gathering intel. Equipped with invisibility technology, face cybernetics, and batons they are ultimate stealth fighters.
Details on Tech: Laser Rifles
Personal Railguns
Cybernetics: allow for faster limb movement and extra strength than what human muscles are capable of. Eyes can view a variety of wavelengths and hearing can be increased. The SFC can move at 10x normal human speed if necessary (not over a prolonged time though). Allows for communication via thoughts and can allow MODI to see what the user is seeing. Some even can have their face changed with proper cybernetics.
Materia: rechargeable grenades basically. Variety of forms: Thunder (Can stun armored enemy, destroy electronics, or possibly kill light armor enemies), Fire (seems explanatory it lights the area up, can burn through steel), Blizzard (freezes an area), Ruin (gravity increase).
Invisibility Tech: for a limited time the user can disappear from the visible spectrum.
Batons: electrified, as a measure of last result can be used as a Thundaga (3rd level thunder materia) Materia greatly electrifying the enemy.
All weapons produced by Shinra Holding Company
Also has access to all the tech of the Eldenia Imperium with MODI approval
