Dear person of high social, political or economic standing:

Upon reception of this letter, you are cordially invited to the Grand Ball
celebrating the 45th Anniversary of Razia-Sultana's ascension to the Throne of the Sultanate.
The event is going to take place at the Palace of Azure Hall in Utica,
on the 30th of Decembre 2017, at eight on the clock p. m..

Room, board, security and all of these concerns will be taken care of by us.
Proper White Tie is expected.
This invitation also serves as a proof of identity upon entry.
If you wish to attend, please fill out the attached RSVP and send it back to the Palace of the Azure Hall until the 30th of Decembre 2017, midday.

Hello and welcome, dear friends and fellow RPers,
welcome to A Celebratory Ball, an RP by yours truly, Kyrenaia - as the name of this RP suggests, this is a ball, celebrating the 45th anniversary of Razia-Sultana's coronation. Of course, such a ball is more then a chance to see and to be seen, it's also a chance to forge alliances, find friends, lovers and loves or to marry off the children, but also have fun and mingle, depending on what you wish for.
The IC will start on the 30th of Decembre with the opening of the ballroom at 7 o'clock p.m. (IC-time, not RL-time), but apps will be open for long after that.
As it is a ball, expect dancing... music is provided and it will not only be classical ball music. ; )
Also, I would like to spare us all the whole shebang of arrival at the airport and transportation to the Azure Hall, so you can simply spawn at the doors. You will be welcomed there.

An issue I have with this application, Bruke: The answer to the OOC-section's second question is, although correct, not what I am looking for. Could you please look over them, especially rule 6, again?

So, people, today is IC-Day and I'll most likely do something I don't like to do later, namely double post as soon as the IC is up.
Please keep in mind, that we can spare ourselves the whole thin g of arrival at the airport and moving to the venue - you can basically spawn right in front of the doors.

And, ladies and gentlemen, please excuse the double-post, here's the IC!
A small info, the main part of the festivities will indeed happen in the Entrance Hall transformed into a ballroom, but some of the doors lead further into the private parts of the Palace of the Azure Hall - gardens, tea and smoking rooms, and so on. So, if you want to have a conversation with someone away from the grand event, there are places for that.

EDIT: Of course, the applications are still very much open!

Don't worry about her being a lesbian or the marijuana - the former is accepted in Kyrenaia (although I can not speak for any other guests) and the latter... well, the smoking rooms are actually for other herbs to smoke, but there's no problem either.
Still, I do have one small issue with the app: Yes, I know you, but that does not exempt you from providing an RP-sample. Please provide a link to an RP you have been in and which shows how you interact with other players. Thank you!

Rule 7.1 states, that the minimum age for participants is 16 and the young lady in question is noted to be born in 2010 in the app, making her 7. I also imagine, that such an event will be very boring for a 7 yo girl, plus it will go far after her bedtime.
So, either you make her older or she stays at home or she keeps to her bedtime, I'm afraid.
