Late into 2017, Cossakastal has had rising tensions among the Military and the Government's liberalization. During late October, a high-ranking officer, Myros Lonikovic, called for a rising against the government. He has gathered popular support from the majority of the military and the Upper-Class citizens. The current president, Lyvov Eyovich responded a short three days after the call for revolution. In an interview, he stated this:"...I have great sorrow for Myros, letting his eyes fade from democracy, and the government shall take immediate action to prevent reactionaries from taking hold of our people, and I shall deal with him as soon as I can..."
Following this statement, Myros Lonikovic was enraged to find out the President's unwillingness to cede power to his Military junta.
As people thought things were dying down, on December First, Myros declared himself rightful leader of the Cossaks on national television. Myros accuses the president of being a communist and supporting the break-up of Cossakastal.
Early in the day, Myros and his Militia storm Zagreb, establishing it as their "capital". He proceed to declare himself Autocrat of Cossakastal, and anyone in Zagreb who has refused his demand was brutally murdered.
The war for Cossakastal has begun. Many militias and other factions have been formed, vying for control of Cossakastal, each with independent agendas.

Summary: Following the fall of the C.C.P (Central Communist Party), the majority of people were left without an answer. Many people turned to the extremes, and the Cossak Syndicate was a breath of fresh air for the average worker, who was living in impoverished conditions. Across the southern provinces like Valemakedonija (Upper-Macedonia), Arabon, and Ployvdiv, Militias were founded in the late days of November to establish a Syndicalist government.

Summary: With the current Liberalization of the Cossak government, many high ranking Generals felt threatened. In late October, Myros had called for a revolution, which failed to get popular support, but on December First, Myros had the backing of the Army and led a storm on the Croatian Provincial Capital, Zagreb, and declared himself rightful Regent of Cossakastal.

Summary: Seeing the instability in Cossakastal in Late 2017, the would-be-heir whose father, the last king, was exiled to Poland in 1945, returned to Cossakastal to usurp the throne. Although he does not have much popular support, the rural Cossak regions strongly support his claim.

Summary: In the eastern provinces following the increased autonomy towards the Albanians, Greeks in Corfu, Italians in Trieste, and Rumanians, many Pan Slavics united under a coalition to unite the Slavs under the leadership of Dorutsz, in the middle months of 2017, they had been terrorizing Rumania and Albania by using bombs, and assaulting the non-Slavs.

Summary: In order to appease the autonomous regions in Cossakastal, the president had to enact more-and-more policies. With each policy he enacted, he mad more and more people displeased, his approval went down and he had an attempt on his life in August. The remaining loyalists do not want to see any of the Authoritarian regimes take power, and the right, the left, the women, and the men have all united under one banner to protect democracy. With the Civil War, the 2017 elections have been postponed.
