Ngô Đình Diệm was the first president of South Vietnam, ruling from October 26th, 1955 until his assassination on November 1st, 1963.
He was notorious for several things, including favoritism for family members and fellow Catholics, authoritarianism and horrible corruption.
Under his regime, huge amounts of people were also forcibly moved to so-called "strategic hamlets" to defend against Communist aggression, which ended up being a total failure.
His favoritism of Catholics went so far to even make the US support a coup d'etat against him, which eventually occured in 1963, leading to his assassination by ARVN officers.

Radovan Kiresece was the communist dictator of the Baltic Soviet Republic from 1954-1977. His regime imprisoned tens of thousands of political dissidents. His death triggered the Blue Rising/Baltic Independence War, in which thousands took to the streets, and Kiresece's successor made a UDI.

Gandoor has only had one leader who is widely considered to be a dictator, Alexei Petrikov.

Petrikov was Gandoor's third Prime Minister and was in office from 1940 until his death in 1951. He was elected as a member of the New Democratic Party, being the first Prime Minister from that party, although he left the party and founded the Revolutionary Socialist Party in 1942.

A few months after becoming Prime Minister, Petrikov declared the enforcement of the State of Emergency Law, officially due to the ongoing wars in Europe and Asia, severely curtailing civil rights, granting him expanded powers, and effectively turning the Forum into a rubber stamp legislature.

Using the authority and powers granted to him under the State of Emergency Law, he began his goal of transforming Gandoor into a single-party state modeled after the Soviet Union. Despite popular belief, however, he did not outlaw private enterprise, although he severely curtailed it, declaring in a 1942 speech that Gandoor would fully transition from capitalism to socialism by the mid-1950's.

He established a secret police force, the Organization for the Safety and Security of Gandoor, in 1942, intending to eliminate any opponents of his regime. Among the victims of the OSSG was Robert S. Stevenson, his predecessor as Prime Minister, who was executed in June 1942.

A series of twenty-two political prisons were constructed across Gandoor during the 1940's, which housed citizens who committed crimes against the state that were not punishable by execution. Prisoners were forced to work for ten hours a day, with beatings, torture, and even executions by camp guards common. Prisoners aged between 8 and 60 years old also had to attend five hour reeducation classes daily, which were intended to teach them about the errors of their ways and make them appreciate the future of Gandoor.

All religious beliefs were outlawed, with religious buildings being shut down and practitioners forced to recant their beliefs or face exile or a sentencing in a political prison.

Petrikov would die at age 63 in 1951. During his eleven years in power, 850,000 Gandoorese citizens would be executed and 350,000 would be sentenced to political prisons. He is also considered to be the main catalyst for the outbreak of the Gandoor Civil War, which began in 1953 and lasted until 1956 and the post-war economic crisis, which lasted from 1958 to the early 1970s.

In the years immediately following his death, Gandoor began a process of de-Petrikovization in order to roll back his effects on Gandoorese society and in the decades since the end of The Lost Era (as his regime has come to be called), the victims and their families of Petrikov have been paid hundreds of thousands of gdyns as a formal apology from the government, museums have been opened, memorials established, all so future generations who did not live under the Petrikov regime can understand what he did and why it should never be allowed to happen again.

We only really had 2 dictators, and one of them was comparatively weaker than the other. Therefore, our most oppressive dictator was Abdullah Hezarfen. He was leader of the Military Party, a political party with militaristic and nationalistic views and was elected Prime Minister in 1886. Some reasons for his election are because the government at the time was very incompetent and had become fairly corrupt. Abdullah Hezarfen promised greatness and more power to the nation, and was seen as a "strongman". However, he abused power and declared the country a military dictatorship, which he was the head of. He suspended the constitution and wrote his own, getting rid of many basic rights and freedoms. All opposition was shut down and silenced. Military was pervasive. Many people reacted to this negatively at first but were killed as a result. Many innocent people were brutally slaughtered, tortured, and executed, sometimes in very creative ways. Eventually, around 1890, the people became subservient in an attempt to stop the bloodshed. This worked for the most part, but the people were still harassed and oppressed. In 1895, many people died from starvation because the government rationed food between the common folk while government officials (all members of the Military Party) and high-ranking soldiers had an abundant amount of food. In the February of 1896, the people rebelled against the government once again. This was the Revolution of 1896, which proved successful in overthrowing Abdullah Hezarfen and his military dictatorship. The republic was restored once again under the Republic Council, with all political parties being reopened (except for the Military Party, which was banned) and a new constitution being written. Francis Truman of the Anollasian People's Party was elected Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Abdullah Hezarfen was executed in the May of 1896, being the last Anollasian executed, since the death penalty was abolished about a month later.

Alizeria has never had a dictatorship but there have been a number of absolute monarchs who have gone down in history notoriously.

Probably the worst was King Alfred III (also known as "Alfred the Cruel") who reigned from 1488 until 1497.

Alfred III was notoriously paranoid about his noblemen plotting against him, and would systematically rape the daughters of noblemen he suspected of disloyalty in public, boil people alive or else sentence people to death for the smallest of perceived slights, such as making too much eye contact or not enough.

Richard Castille, who took power in 1921, was Pantopia's most oppressive dictator. After taking power, Castille resolved parliament almost immediately and proclaimed the Republic of Pantopia dead, succeeded by the Empire of Pantopia. Castille developed a highly effective militia/secret police called the Imperial Guard, who sought out and killed or imprisioned all of the opposition republicans. His government was fascist in style and society was highly stratified. The nations wealth was enjoyed by a very small elite, while the majority of poorer Pantopians were heavily oppressed, especially aboriginal Pantopians. Castille's National Imperialist party (Natim). During WW2, Castille sided with the allies against it's main territorial rival, Japan. Castilles well equipped army beat Japan with the help of the US, but at heavy cost. After the war, Imperial forces were drained. In response to Pantopia's failing postwar economy as well as Castille's oppressive government, Communist forces launched a civil war against Castille, winning in 1947 and deposing Castille.

Sancho Faust was a hardline traditionalist, conservative, and capitalistic dictator that ruled Pelotas from 1959 to 1978. He abolished the nation's parliamentary system, replacing it with a presidential system, skewed elections in his favour, regularly jailed and has been rumoured to execute political opponents. He was also known for his aggressive foreign policy towards ideologically different nations, and maintaining close relationships with other dictatorships, most notably Pinochet's Chile, Francoist Spain, and apartheid era South Africa. He was tried and later hung in 1978 for treason, and the nation has been a stable parliamentary democracy ever since. Faust is also notable in that he was the last person to be executed in Pelotas, as the death penalty was abolished for all crimes after his execution.

Fidel Castro Ruz, who in the beginning closed the private catholic schools, the private schools, nationalized all private businesses, separated families and friends, imprisoned thousands, exiled thousands and executed thousands for disagreeing with the revolution, set up re education work camps, out lawed Christmas, took all gun rights away from the people, whose rapid response brigades of the Committees for the Defense of the Democratic Revolution CDDRs, repudiated you with chants of gusano worms e scoria scums, threw eggs at you and beat you up for disagreeing with the revolution, who despite their social work, keep a record of you are, where you work, who you see, who sees you, your voluntary work record or not for the revolution, your loyalty or not for the revolution and report you to the police, as Fidel once said, the main mission of the CDDRs is to be the arms, hands, eyes and ears of the revolution, outlawed all other political parties other than the Communist Party of Cuba for life, similar to North Vietnam

Medric Caius was the final Chairman of the Directorate Inner Council, the ruling body of the National Union of Isentran. He lead the nation from 1969 to 1973. Although many of his predecessors were guilty of horrific crimes, Caius was by far Isentran's most brutal dictator. Before him, the Directorate largely refrained from domestic slaughter, preferring instead to utilize harsh beatings, torture, gang rapes, and prolonged solitary confinement to crush dissent. However, shortly after Caius came to power, immense domestic strife lead to uprisings in various City States as well as mutinies among the military and defiant declarations by local governments.

Caius' response was quick, violent, and short-sighted. The capitol buildings and state office buildings of the rebellious City States were destroyed in nighttime bombing runs, and the remaining loyal Legions were dispatched to suppress the revolution. The soldiers quickly ran into large unruly crowds. What followed can only be described as a massacre; the Directorate forces machine-gunned protesters by the hundreds. Caius' administration helped organize loyalist militias who hunted down and butchered dissidents, often by barging into their homes and shooting them in front of their families. Entire neighborhoods were bulldozed, with the displaced civilians forced into internment camps.

His most infamous act, however, was ordering the "Purification of the Turvens" where air force planes dropped incendiaries on one of Tiberan's historic neighborhoods, burning roughly 12,000 people to death in a single nighttime raid. The Turvens community was mostly comprised of liberals and ethnic minorities.

Caius' brutality only intensified the hatred of the people, and ultimately made his downfall inevitable. The international community turned against him and began to lend support to the ever-increasing armies attempting to overthrow him. After years of continual uprisings, Union finally fell to the rebels. Caius fled the city in a small car, but rebel militias discovered him. The resulting chase led Caius to drive his car off a bridge and into the River Isen, where he drowned. It is still debated to this day whether he did it intentionally.

[Kenmoria]

Kenmoria worst dictator came when it was still a monarchy, in the 16^th century. He was King Bacchus III and is widely considered to be the most oppressive leader the country has ever had. During his rule, he executed over 300 people via the guillotine, an invention he popularised and spread over Europe, and created harsh laws banning many everyday things, including the colour purple.

In Fatatatutti, would-be dictators tend to be accidentally killed and eaten, so there isn't much opportunity for one to become the "worst".

Davinhia never had a dictator, but the most authoritarian president was President Hermo of the Law Party. He slashes a huge amount of civil liberties laws, but the majority of them were reversed right after he lost the election to a Davin Party Candidate

The most oppressive dictator in Greater Moloch's history is Adolf Hitler. Despite establishing one of the greatest world-powers, and being hailed as the greatest leader of the nation, he required complete and totalitarian control over the nation, due to the Great War and the rather democratic nature of the country.

Many of his edicts and policies are in power to this day.

The CTM has always been a democracy since it was founded in 1948. The closest leader to a "most oppressive dictator" was President Jake Henderson, who was president from 1956-58 and was impeached for corruption and abuse of power in 1958. The most oppressive leader is the current one, Kúllitēstchanskler and Jötelja Mārie Vön Kōrcmvaricht. “Kúllitēstchanskler“ translates to “Regime/Reich Chancellor”. “Jötelja” roughly means “guide” or “leader”, in a very similar sense to the German word and title “Führer”.

Mārie Vön Kōrcmvaricht, then known as Khāchylāna Kyölyukerimen, was the second-in-command to the revolutionary founder Máuja Kavvílysk. When Máuja died, Khāchylāna became the leader, and has ruled since then.

Khāchylāna approves the concentration and labour camps, genocide of the mentally disabled among other ultra-authoritarian policies.

Khāchylāna was born in 1362, to two nomads of Finno-Ugric origin. She was brought up in animism and pre-Christian faith. She became a vampire st the age of 30, in 1392.

Leonardo Ti Alessio, who reigned as Duce Supremo from 1941 to 1947, following the death of Consul Marcus Tipaldo; he established a totalitarian government founded on Saurian nationalism and militarism, in order to counter the Kostopoulista rebels. In addition to cracking down on opposition newspapers, party headquarters, and minority religious temples and churches. Ti Alessio's regime enacted genocide against most Non-Saurians in Saurisia, rounding tens of thousands of them up and placing them in internment camps and with his secret police wiping out entire villages of dragons, Sslurids, Dwarves, Humans, and Ponerians. He was eventually toppled in the 1947 Summer Revolution, led by Cera Hayworth, an old friend of his, and her mate Yohann Hayworth, and was tried and exiled the following year, never to return to his homeland.

Our nation's history only includes two leaders- our founder and his successor. Of the two, our current leader is the most "oppressive," largely due to his decision to switch our economic system over from near-laissez-faire capitalism to dirigisme. The focus on broadening the government and turning their presence into a Byzantine stratocracy has all at once netted him praise for the increased protections and resentment for the increased restrictions. (which were already pretty ludicrous by most other nations' standards as it is)

In spite of these controversies, the current ruler of Cruciland remains surprisingly commendable in the eyes of the Nomadic Legion's denizens.

Born: April 15th, 1901
Died: July 13th,1972
Ruled: 1960-1972

Shengin was born in Japan in the province of Tottori to Namasaru Shengin and Karinsawa Icho Nanjinmoto, he did his studies abroad, first in Carriebean, then in the united states, and then in the ottoman empire from 1915-1918. In 1940, he served in the Japanese Army, fighting in Manchuria during the soviet invasion and escaping into Korea. When World war II ended, he Served as a volunteer for the North Korean Army, getting the rank of Captain in 1951,but left the army in 1956 with a plan from Kim Il Sung himself to overthrow the Carriebeanian Monarchy that had been placed back on the throne at the end of the 4th Civil War in 1953. He agreed to serve Kim Il Sung in this matter and began to conspire for a plan to overthrow the monarchy. He then met several military personnel that were previously on the losing Republican, Communist and Warlord's side that held a deep grudge against the President at the time, Franklin Láržao,who was seen as an incompetent military figure.

In 1955, they tried to overthrow the government using a former royalist military general's army of 20,000 strong to march on the palace, failing miserably when several royalist guards arrested the general and gave the order for the army to return to their barracks, which saw 19,000 soldiers return, but 1,000 refused to carry it out, continuing the march. This force of 1,000 soldiers reached the Imperial Palace and were fired upon by the Imperial Guards and the feared Naginata Warrior Monks, forcing nearly 900 of them to be killed and the remaining 100 executed by guillotine and firing squad for treason. Shengin and his two other military higher ups were undeterred by this failure and waited, planting pro Carriebeanian-Communist newspapers to rally many military units to their side and having the Coup occur when Queen Mary II was in her Imperial Palace and when security was lowered or corruptly bribed to switch sides for the communists.

In Power
On October 25th,1960, the plan was launched and the plan that Shengin and his entourage of communist military allies had hatched was executed to a T. As the forces approached the Imperial Palace, flashlights of red and green were signaled to the traitors in the Palace, Queen Mary II was promptly arrested and executed by a firing squad a few hours later, and a communist coup gave birth to Carriebean Revolutionary Army's military Junta. The Navy, Army and Air Force were all given political positions, lavish power was transferred to the military Junta established, and elections for Military President and Military Prime Minister were set up for some democratic rule, along with a chance to elect a new Parliament and Congress under the military political parties.
His rule saw the expansion of several vast public works projects and the chance of limited free speech, which was ample discussion about problems of the new regime which were listened to by Conscientious Observers, who made notes of flaws and the citizen's proposals on fixing them, which would be in turn sent to several mini congressional and Parliamentarian committees which would test solutions and come to decisions on how to fix problems in the nation.

As for his foreign affairs, he quickly made buddy buddies with the Soviet Union and began to receive economic deals and loads of military hardware during this period. He had several assassination attempts by France and the Netherlands to overthrow his regime, all which failed. He then visited North Korea again and copied much of their economic and political systems, such as Juche into the Carriebeanian Communist Manifesto v.18 Vol. VI (circa 1964). As for affairs more close to the near but not so near areas, he began to deal with insurrections in Mexico, and assisted out North Vietnam's Ho Chi Mihn in 1970, He was also responsible in backing Fidel Castro against american backed Batista and democratic supporters. All three of these conflicts began to put a strain on the resources of the nation, which Shengin found boring to solve and so left them to his economic ministers.

As for Domestic affairs, he began several large trillion Sai projects such as Dams, military bases, schools,hospitals and began a Five Year Plan purely focused on fixing the devastation caused by the 4th Carriebeanian Civil War. he set up ambitious designs such as a large Carriebeanian Way that would connect the Capital, on an island to the rest of the nation and have large swathes of roads for the carriebeanian automobile workers. He tightened restrictions on imports and loosened them on exports to allow for more products to come funneling through to the outside world from Carriebean.
However, the human cost of these large products was near to the great walls' construction deaths, but on a larger, national scale. As many as 10 million people died during his reign or disappeared. As all three of the conflicts he unwisely got the nation in continued to call for more rescources, he began to try his luck in having a coup in Chad and setting up a friendly marxist communist government, which proved to be even more frustrating as several hair brained schemes got no where,such as with the original plan having two of the 30 assigned men be replaced with bunny rabbits because they were no shows at were getting drunk. With these failures in forgien policy and the increasing amount of stress on his body, he croaked in July of 1972, leaving Power to the Admiral of the Regime, Mori Takenyuki.
