It is in the interest of the Republic of Vietnam to improve it's diplomatic ties to other countries.
To fight the communists in Hanoi, we cannot merely rely on the power of the ARVN, VNN and VNAF, but we also have to use diplomacy to our advantage.
Therefore, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Vietnam has given the green light to start an embassy/consulate program to increase the presence of the Vietnamese nation on the world stage, and thus preventing the communists in Hanoi from discrediting our prosperous democracy. We will act to gain world recognition and support for Saigon and the cause of democracy north of the DMZ.

About the Republic of Vietnam:
The Republic of Vietnam, commonly called South Vietnam, is a country in Southeast Asia. It is bordered on the north by North Vietnam, Cambodia to it's west, Laos to it's northwest and the South China Sea to it's east. South Vietnam has a population of about 52.9 million, making it the 26th-most populous country in the world.

Formerly a corrupt and repressive dictatorship, South Vietnam has since then transitioned into a democracy starting in the early-1990s and is now among the most prosperous countries in Southeast Asia. It has experienced an economic miracle, known as the Miracle on the Mekong, since 1980. Its nominal GDP stood at $1.252 trillion (or $23,662 per capita), making it the 16th-largest economy in the world. The capital city of Saigon, nicknamed the "Pearl of the Orient", has been ranked as one of the most livable cities in Asia. The country also excels in technological development, like South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

Consulates can be constructed in the Hòa Mình area in Da Nang, one of Southeast Asia's busiest ports and/or in the Xuân Khánh area in Can Tho, a major city at the Mekong Delta.

Rules:
- Only pistols, tasers, knifes and batons are allowed for security personnel, no military-grade weapons.
- No military vehicles are allowed, although armored cars for ambassadors are allowed
- Do not bring any plants or animals that could endanger the local fauna and flora (Pets like cats and dogs are perfectly fine, so are normal plants)
- Only MT nations are allowed to request an embassy, as the RVN is set in the year 2017
- Recreational drugs are banned
- Your application will only be accepted if your opinion of the Republic of Vietnam does not fall below Neutral (If you support the illegitimate communists in Hanoi, your application will be insta-denied
- You can only apply for a consulate if you already have an embassy. (You can apply for both at the same time however)
