The world in chaos. Tensions mounting in the Middle East between Iran and Saudi Arabia for ownership of Mecca, and the Syrian civil war turning in favor of the rebels. The world had become a gunpowder keg, ready to ignite at the flick of the trigger.

Then, it happens...

A massacre at an airport in Moscow leaves dozens and dozens of civilians dead and bleeding on the floor. Moscow is in a state of shock, as investigators look into the massacre. What the investigators conclude rocks Russia to its core. They believe that the United States carried out the attack now known as "The Slaughter" due to the fact that the terrorists seemed to have gear and epuipment that was exclusive only to the American military, and the fact that the terrorists were identified as CIA agents.

The Kremlin was shocked and furious. The Russian people demanded action against the US, demanding that the Americans should pay for the attack. On April 18, 2020, Russian president Dmitri Larionovich signed the official declaration of war against the United States of America.

Weeks later, Russian armies poured into Europe, quickly wiping out the Baltic states and Finland, and winning the support of Belarus. The nations of Europe, UK, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Hungary, and many others gathered their forces and waited for the Russian bear to come knocking at their doorstep. Russia knocked out Poland, and a small portion of Eastern Europe. Russian troops marched into Germany, reaching the capital of Berlin in only days after crossing onto German soil.

That is where you come in, rookie.
You will join the defense at Berlin, and you will help drive the Russians back. Or, you will win at Berlin and bring glory for Mother Russia. Will you help secure Europe for the Motherland, or will you fight for a free Europe?

Personality: Small town gentleman who's proud of his Texan heritage, however he leaves his cowboy hat at the door and steps up when he is needed, willing to put himself in danger for his brothers in arms,
Background: Born in Texas, Carter would grow up in a military family. His father and his father before were both army, being an infantry officer and logistical specialist respectively. Carter and his younger brother, Mike, would both follow in their parent's footsteps. Carter would end up as a Bradley ACP gunner, being excellent at armored warfare tactics. Mike would end up as a Ranger, and the two would see considerable deployment in the Middle East throughout their enlistments.

Carter served as a gunner in Iraq, and furthermore gained a bronze star when he disabled an insurgent MG nest that almost opened fire on a convoy of Humvees, keeping dozens of infantrymen out of harms way. After his second tour he was sent to Rammstein and attached to an Armored Calvary company there. When the Russians invaded Europe, his unit was mobilized for the defense of Berlin, and after multiple skirmishes, his entire IFV platoon has either been disabled or destroyed, leaving his vehicle the last one standing. Instead of being folded into another unit, his crew is attached to a FOB to defend it, and is on standby for re-tasking.
