You are an Aurawalker. A descendant of a race of humans long forgotten in the sands of time. For centuries, your people battled the Voidals: Monsters bestowed upon man to exterminate them and steal their souls. The Aurawalkers, harnessing the power of themselves, made Spirit Animals, spectral creatures made of their owner's aura, to fight the Voidals. For the longest time, the Voidal were being held back. Until, slowly but surely, the Aurawalker's society died out. The remaining members were scattered across the globe, establishing there own places to train future Aurawalkers. So far, your life has been commonplace: You are a citizen of Earth, like any other.
Until now.
2 months ago, you were greeted by a representative from a boarding school in the deep forests of Colorado, USA. They explained your position. Your parents shifted uncomfortably as the power of Aura was demonstrated. Reluctantly, you accepted. You are to begin you Sophomore Year at St. Draefends. You have been given basic training. You have recieved your custom weapon. You are ready for initiation.
But, just like any other school, St. Draefend's is, well, a school. Will you find friendship? Love, even?
Welcome, and good luck.
This roleplay is a reboot of the old St. D's, and I'm excited to be back! Here's a few things to keep in mind:
Let's start with the few things you should keep in mind:
1. The roleplay takes place in a fictional part of Colorado, USA. For all you internationals, this means there will be snow, rocky mountains, and forests everywhere!
2. There is a small town a few miles away from the school known as Gladsprings. The kids go there in their off-time to grab food, clothes, and supplies. This is a town of regular-ol' mortals, so shhh
3. There is a school uniform, to be worn at all times during the school year. Breaks allow for casual clothes.
4. Every character is a sophomore. This means every character is either 15 or 16. They will all grow together as a class.
5. Voidals are dangerous creatures, and have to potential to attack at any time. Here's what a basic grunt looks like.
