Powers United (Superhero, OOC, Always Open!)

Postby The Republic of Atria » Wed Sep 20, 2017 7:43 pm

Assuming you haven't been living under a rock that repels the entirety of pop culture, you're probably aware of what a superhero is. The Most popular superhero universes being Marvel's and DC's. This RP will be a single earth where all of the characters in these universes exist together, with some Dragon Ball Z/Super added for flavor. And you will be some superpowered dude or lady who exists in this universe. There's a lot of villains out there that need a boot to the ass, and you're free to use both at your leisure. Within reason of course. Please try to save the really big baddies like Thanos, Darkseid or Beerus for later. Also please don't kill any of the existing characters without permission from me personally. Other people may want to use those characters and I'd rather not have to deal with that.

Basically, it's a superhero roleplay taking place in those universes. Don't over think it. Of course you will have to be your own made up character, but you're more than welcome to take inspiration from existing characters. You're even allowed to be a Saiyan or Kryptonian if you think you can write it. Just please don't character wank too much. No one likes that. The RP is intended to be very free form. You can team up with other players and go off on your own (mis)adventures or follow me when I occasionally make up some arcs for everyone to follow. I'm very lenient when it comes to powerful character, but please do not abuse this privilege. You don't have to know much about these universes to join, but some passing knowledge would be reccomended.

IC: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=424464

Da Rules
Typical RP etiquette: No Godmodding(without permission), No Metagaming. No in OOC arguing, I am the OP/God.
Powerful characters are fine, but plot rules all.
Please have semi viable weaknesses. Saiyans can be poisoned pretty easily and Kryptonians have like 50 weaknesses.
Fun is mandatory.
Fights between characters should be discussed OOCly or over TG before they take place. If an agreement cannot be reached, it will be taken to a poll or I will decide.
All posts must be a minimum of 3 full lines long.
Don't be afraid to ask questions! Here or over TG is perfectly fine.
All characters must be original!
For the sake of simplicity, Goku and Vegeta will not be here.

Name/Alias: Nick Tassiter

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance: http://orig01.deviantart.net/2287/f/201 ... 8u24aq.jpg

Species: Human

Backstory: Nick was born to a relatively decent family. Parents were caring if a bit overbearing at times, leading him to try and avoid them whenever he could once he entered his teen years. He wasn't sure what happened when he hit puberty, but suddenly things started making a whole heck of a lot more sense. His memory went from average to perfect, and his grades went from below average to straight A's. For obvious reasons, he was suspected of cheating, but no evidence could be found. Testing him away from everyone else only confirmed that Nick had indeed just been that smart. But he was also impatient and didn't show up much for his highschool years except to take the required tests so he could graduate. He was excited. There were so many opportunities that he had, and he could do a world of good for everyone. But in order to do that, he would need some miraculous invention that would put him on the same level as all the other super geniuses on the planet.

Which was easier said than done. Lex Luthor, Reed Richards, Tony Stark, and more. What was there to invent that wasn't already a thing? He spent most of his free time trying to come up with something that would make him wealthy and famous. However, during a Kree invasion, he got his inspiration by watching several power armored people. Rather than put the armor on the outside, what if he put it on the inside? Of course there were a myriad things that he needed to work out before it came to fruition, but savaging some Kree medical technology definitely helped him expedite the process. which was even easier once he started taking the Kree stuff apart. It was very intuitive design, and he'd be impressed were it not for the fact that they like antagonizing the planet for whatever reason. It took a few weeks of work and experimenting, but he had finally came up with his invention that was going to make him beloved: Meld. A unique form of nanotechnology that is both organic and mechanical. And self replicating. ensuring that he would always have a good supply of the microscopic things.

Of course, what better guinea pig than himself. It took a few days to start seeing the results, but the increased strength, thought speed and healing made themselves known when he examined himself. It was glorious. Now it was just a matter of waiting to see if there were any unseen side effect that he would need to buff out. Hopefully he caught them before they became dangerous.

Powers and Abilities: Biomechanical Enhancements: Nick's body is enhanced by high end nanomachines that are a perfect blend of cybernetic and organic parts. This grants him minor superhuman attributes, a powerful healing factor and most of all, enhancing his already incredible intellect. Another bonus is the ability to seamlessly integrate cybernetics with himself.

Supernatural Intelligence: Nick is very smart, capable of extreme feats of engineering and calculations that can be done in a matter of minutes assuming he has the resources.

Weaknesses and Limitations: Electric Shock: A direct electric shock will stun both him and his Meld. Making him easier to damage.
Regeneration Limitations: He can heal minor to moderate injuries (Cuts, bruises, broken bones) almost instantly, however, he cannot regenerate lost limbs and must reattach them if lost.
Building: Making something takes time and resources.

Standard Equipment: None

Is your character original?: Yep.

Because of hype for The Punisher on Netflix, I'm absolutely, positively obligated to apply as the "badass normal" archetype. I just have to. There is no choice in the matter.

Name/Alias: Henry Cross; The Custodian

Gender: M.

Age: 29.

Appearance: The Custodian.

Species: Human.

Backstory: Henry Cross was born and raised in a military family. His father had served in the military, and his father's father had served, and so on. It was expected. Thus, as Henry was growing up, he had many responsibilities thrust upon him. However, despite that, Henry managed to keep up with the work he'd gotten into for his schooling and education. He wasn't necessarily a straight-A student, but he definitely was not a flunky.

When the time came, Henry joined the military as was the tradition for his family; that time being shortly after turning eighteen. He went through the standard training, but went above and beyond despite it. Henry pushed himself to his limits in his training; trying to be the best he could possibly be, to make his father proud. Henry served for several years in the US Army, and eventually, his determination paid off; by the time he'd turned twenty-one, he was assigned to a special forces unit to undergo special training and such.

Henry continued to serve the Army to the best of his abilities until his father's death. After that, he served a final year of service before finishing it. Henry retired, but that didn't mean he stopped training. He kept his physical prowess up, and kept his skills honed. When he turned twenty-six, his girlfriend of one year announced her pregnancy. Henry proposed to her within a week afterwards.

Unfortunately, fate is a cruel mistress; and as fate would have it, Henry's fiance would die after being caught in the crossfire of a gang fight. Angry, depressed, and grieving, Henry made a decision to clean up the gangs of his city, and clean up crime or those who were 'evil' from the world. Dubbing himself as the Custodian, he used his training and advanced it on his own, killing his way up the food chain of the gangs responsible for his fiance's death.

After killing the leadership, Henry decided that it wasn't enough; he looked around the world, and saw villains, or possibly corrupt heroes, or criminal scum. They all had to pay their dues, and he had a job to look out for the innocent by purging the guilty; cleaning the filth. Henry from that moment on was only the Custodian, and is responsible for the deaths of dozens of criminals and would-be small time villains who caused deaths or otherwise caused significant collateral damage. His job isn't done, and it won't be until he's dead, or the world's filth is cleaned.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Peak Human Condition: After around a decade of training his body, as well as being generally fit throughout his life, Henry has trained himself into the peak human condition in terms of physical and mental prowess.
  • Combat Specialist: After around a decade of training himself in various CQC and self-defense methods, as well as training himself in various forms of combat, Henry has become a specialist when it comes to any form of combat. He is lethal both with and without a weapon, and knows how to use his skills to the best of their ability in a given situation.
  • Peak Accuracy: Henry has trained to the point where, with most ranged weapons, he is lethally accurate. That isn't to say he never misses, but he generally hits his mark as long as he has the right weapon for the job.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
  • Only Human: Despite all his training, skills and natural talent, Henry Cross is still only a man. Anything that can kill a man will kill him just as well.
  • No One Man Army: Henry Cross isn't a one-man army, even despite his skills and training. If he's facing down an overwhelming number of people, he's going to be hard-pressed to take them all down without breaking them down into smaller numbers.

Standard Equipment: Generally, carries an 'acquired' AR-15, and a .44 Magnum Revolver on hand; other various weapons, too, if he has them available.

Is your character original?: Pretty sure. I mean, he's based on the Punisher, but he isn't the Punisher. If it is copying someone or something else, this is not intentional.

Optional stuff.

Theme song: N/A.

Asumar's application was the one that took the longest out of the two.

Name/Alias: Asumar Masaki | "The Vice Warlord"
Gender: Male
Age: 1,300
Appearance: Asumar Masaki, The Vice Warlord
Species: Human-Immortal Hybrid

Backstory:
The story of Asumar Masaki begins at the end of the 14th Immortal Extinction Event, an event that resulted in the near destruction of the Immortal race, Asumar and his brother Kazuko were born from the unity of the Celestial God of Light and an average Human Female, not only as a contingency plan so that the work of the Immortals would not be forgotten, but also as a beacon of hope for the Aquila Galaxy. As his father was one of the many victims of the Extinction Event and the mother died upon their conception, Asumar and his brother Kazuko were taken under the care of the legendary figure known as Master Shimura so that the power within them could be tamed and used as a tool to bring an end to the ongoing wars in the galaxy at the time.

While under their surrogate father would they come to hone their skills and tame their power within them, it was at this point that tragedy struck in the form of the passing of Master Shimura,
who had asked his two children to use their powers not only for good, but to also change the destructive future of the Aquila Glaaxy and make it into a future where many could thrive in peace. Following the death of Master Shimura, Asumar had been changed by this sudden loss, losing his carefree attitude with it being replaced by a fierce determination and will to follow the last wish of his father through whatever means necessary, an act what while initially advantageous to his and Kazuko's goal would eventually take a turn for the worse.

At this point with their goal set in motion Asumar and his brother Kazuko would work together in creating the tools needed to bring an end to the Age of Barbarism as it would come to be known as, through both of their time and effort would their attempts begin to slowly bear fruit, with the creation of the first sentient synthetic units now known as Masaki Guardians being realized. Throughout their years of preparation the two Masaki Brothers would amass enough resources and the proper number of Masaki Guardians to officially create the Old Masaki Dynasty and through this one empire would they voice their intent to bring an end to the era of endless war in the galaxy by ironically initiating what would be known as the War of the Rising Sun.

For most of the War, Asumar assumed the duties of a field commander, leading the Dynastic Armed Forces in countless battles, gaining many victories as well as a number of smaller yet notable losses that began the Vice Warlord's efforts to log his losses and analyze the caused behind his inability to secure victory in these battles. The War of the Rising Sun and his subsequent role in leading the Dynastic Armed Forces would come to be a lasting influence on Asumar, which included increasing his desire to maintain order in the Galaxy as well as becoming a master strategist and perhaps one of the brightest military minds in his native galaxy. However after the war and the subsequent Golden Age, Asumar whose desire to maintain order began to become increasingly extreme came into conflict with his brother's ideas of approaching others with reason and the promise of prosperity.

To the Vice Warlord, this method of keeping peace would eventually fail and thus felt that regardless of the method uniting other empires and factions into the Dynasty's territory by force was more feasible and while he still had a desire to protect the Masaki Dynasty by any means necessary, which also resulted in the creation of the Cataclysm Collective, it was this tension between the two brothers that lead to their division and subsequent conflict between each other.

In an effort to find an answer to this dilemma, Asumar abruptly choose to depart for the Unknown Regions alongside select members of the Cataclysm Collective to see if his brother's ideas of peace held any form of merit to them. While much of what he discovered remains a mystery to this day, with Asumar even refusing to divulge any information about his findings in the Unknown Regions to other Masaki Guardians, he had been confronted with widespread discord, piracy, and general mayhem throughout the majority of the Unknown Regions. Not only was this enough for Asumar to be assured that his brother's methods of peace had the potential to bring ruin to the progress that the Old Masaki Dynasty had already made.

To this end, Asumar was confronted with two options. Either he return to the Galaxy with the Cataclysm Collective and wage war against the very empire he had helped found in order to force upon the rest of the Galaxy his method of peace, or return to Sigma Galli Prime and confide in his brother with the findings of his pilgrimage and voice his worries with the current method of peace. Instead of choosing the former and waging a war that would have exceeded the War of the Rising Sun in it's intensity, Asumar choose to peacefully return to the world of Sigma Galli Prime and confide in his brother his findings and voice his worries that the current method of peacekeeping would soon become ineffective. While expecting his brother to assure him that strictly adhering to Shimura's vision of peace was the way to go, he would be greeted with the opposite reaction, with Kazuko also being convinced by these findings that the Dynasty strictly adhering to a single doctrine would eventually come back to bite them.

It was to this end that not only allowed Asumar a say in the diplomatic affairs of the Dynasty and increase his involvement in foreign affairs, but it also unintentionally increased the bond between the two brothers, with Asumar eventually coming to regain his trust and respect for Kazuko's willingness to take into consideration his findings and bring about a reasonable solution for their problem.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Hybrid/Type II Demigod Physiology: Asumar is, as the name implies a hybrid born from the unity of a human female with a strong life force, and the Immortal God of Light, due to the influence of the Immortal genetics within him, Asumar is known to have an assortment of powers that bolster his durability and overall physical abilities:
    • Supernatural Condition: As explained above, Asumar is a hybridization of a Human and an Immortal, it is because of his Immortal-based genetics can he achieve feats thought impossible by human standards and seen as easily performed by the Immortals themselves. For example, during the War of The Rising Sun, Asumar was said to have the ability to lift up heavy equipment such as destroyed tanks, starfighters and other heavy equipment without much difficulty while also continuing to fight on the frontlines with his forces.
      • Supernatural Combat: For roughly most of his life, Asumar has been either training his body and honing his reflexes for battle or actively fighting on the frontlines with his forces. Essentially, Asumar is a warrior who can find satisfaction in fighting strong opponents who can match his skill or even potentially exceed it.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor/Decelerated Aging: As a direct result of his Immortal Lineage, Asumar has near-independence from the restrictions of the Hayflick Limit, which has achieved two results: allowing his Cells to regenerate from damage without consequence of shortening his lifespan, and also allowing him to recover from damage that has been bestowed onto him by his foes.
  • The Nexus: Psychic Energy Manipulation: A well known Cosmic Phenomenon in the Aquila Galaxy, The Nexus is a unique energy that is widely used throughout the Aquila Galaxy and due to it's potent energies can an assortment of powers be given to individuals with a connection to the Nexus. Asumar is especially attuned to The Nexus due to his relation with the Immortal Race, this connection comes in the form of his masterful manipulation of his mental energies in which most notably has been able to use this very energy as a form of offense, defense and even has the ability to create constructs as well as an aura around him. With this power, this ability is regarded as Asumar's primary method of combating opponents.
  • Scientific Weaponry: When not using the brunt of his Psychic Energy for combat, Asumar also has a personalized Lightsaber to use for other combat methods. Within his native Galaxy, Asumar is said to be perhaps the second most skilled Lightsaber duelists in his era, even being able to use his Psychic Energy in tandem with his lightsaber, making him a very realistic danger without using his primary power.
  • Tactical Genius: Asumar's Military Career, coupled with his involvement in the battlefield makes it evident that Asumar is without a doubt one of the greatest tactical minds in the Old Masaki Dynasty, taking the time to study the history, culture, and even philosophy of his enemies and even allies before formulating a strategy.
  • Psychic Communication: While not used for any offensive purposes, As a result of their close and brotherly bond with each other can both Asumar and Kazuko communicate mentally with each other and even coordinate with each other and time their attacks with near perfection. At the highest caliber, Asumar and Kazuko can unite their minds as one and operate each other's body with only a single mind, allowing them to see through each other's eyes.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
  • Psychic Headaches/Mental Overload: As he is using his mind for much of his actual physical attacks, there is always a risk for Asumar pushing his mind to the limit. The first signs of his fatigue is average headaches and even migraines, but as his fatigue begins to rise in severity, there is a chance that Asumar will either bleed from his eyes or his nose, and at the very worse, suffer a seizure or fall unconscious.
  • No Major Limb Regeneration: While his Regenerative Healing Factor is indeed strong, Asumar is unable to regenerate major limbs such as his arms, legs, and head, but on occasion can Asumar regenerate things like lost fingers or even toes.
  • Stamina Dependency: As stated above, Asumar can on occasion regenerate things like fingers or toes, but this is entirely dependent on his stamina reserves. Depending on how high or how low his stamina is affects Asumar's healing rate, this also goes for the level of adrenaline flowing through him. This Stamina Dependency also affects his Psychic Energy attacks as well, considering the fact that attacks like this also require a fair amount of concentration and mental energy generation.

Standard Equipment: Lightsaber (As explained above), Dynastic Armed Forces (For Military Operations), Cataclysm Collective Forces (Can be called upon his request)

Is your character original?: Yes, Considering Asumar is one of my Masakiverse characters.

Optional stuff.

Random Facts about your character:

Name/Alias: Kazuko Masaki | "The Grand Warlord"
Gender: Male
Age: 1,301
Appearance: Kazuko Masaki, The Grand Warlord (Without The Feathers)
Species: Human-Immortal Hybrid

Backstory:
- Kazuko and Asumar have a shared background, allowed to skip VIA OP permission -

Powers and Abilities:
  • Hybrid/Type II Demigod Physiology: Kazuko is, as the name implies a hybrid born from the unity of a human female with a strong life force, and the Immortal God of Light, due to the influence of the Immortal genetics within him, Asumar is known to have an assortment of powers that bolster his durability and overall physical abilities:
    • Supernatural Condition: As explained above, Kazuko is a hybridization of a Human and an Immortal, it is because of his Immortal-based genetics can he achieve feats thought impossible by human standards and seen as easily performed by the Immortals themselves. For example, during the War of The Rising Sun, Kazuko was said to have the ability to lift up heavy equipment such as destroyed tanks, starfighters and other heavy equipment without much difficulty while also continuing to fight on the frontlines with his forces.
      • Supernatural Combat: Like his brother Asumar, Kazuko has also been either training his body and honing his reflexes for battle or actively fighting on the frontlines with his forces. While putting less of a preference on physical attributes but also as capable as his brother Asumar in terms of feats, Kazuko puts more of a focus on the speed of his attacks.
  • The Nexus: Low Level Light Manipulation: As a child, Kazuko was born with a special albeit weaker version of his father's Light Manipulation, while not as masterful with this power like his father before him, Kazuko has been trained in the ways of using his light manipulation for one key focus: speed. Kazuko is also able to use this unique power to launch Light-Based Attacks and even create an Aura of Light around his body.
    • Light Speed via Light Manipulation: As it implies, Kazuko's primary ability with Light Manipulation is to move at the speed of light and even teleport to almost any location within the observable universe.
      • Teleportation Combat: This is where Kazuko shines the most, his trump card is his ability to manipulate his teleportation/light speed in complete synchronization with each other, this is an application of Kazuko's power which he has personally named the "Power of The Lightning God" or the "Lightning God Technique".
  • Pressure Point Intuition: Unlike his brother Asumar, Kazuko has been given a special form of training from Master Shimura himself, and that is the ability to have knowledge about the large variety of pressure points within his opponent and can use this knowledge to incapacitate or even kill his opponent.
  • Scientific Weaponry: Same as Asumar, doesn't need any further explanation.
  • Flight/Levitation: Essentially Self Explanatory

Weaknesses and Limitations:
  • Stamina Dependency: Like his brother, the quality of Kazuko's regeneration and his Light Manipulation are dependent on his stamina reserves, but unlike his brother in terms of power, exhausting Kazuko's stamina reserves lead to his reaction time slowing and fatigue to set in on his body.
  • Glass Cannon: I feel this needs to be put on here for a reason. While Kazuko has an acceptable level of durability to fight, Kazuko's durability is lesser than his brother's and as a result can suffer more damage than his brother can.
  • No Major Limb Regeneration: Self Explanatory, Look at Asumar's Weaknesses and Limitations.
  • Light/Light Energy Absorption: This is perhaps Kazuko's biggest underlying weakness. As his attack are based on direct light-based abilities, anyone who can either absorb light or even energy can negate Kazuko's any light based attack that he can throw at his foes.

Standard Equipment: Lightsaber (Of course), Dynastic Armed Forces (When called upon), Cataclysm Collective Forces (When allowed to by Asumar)

Name/Alias: Billy Reeves

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Appearance: A short, blue-eyed adolescent similar to the provided picture. When not in regular clothes, Billy is usually is clad in a golden suit of armor similar to that of a certain Space Marine from a certain tabletop game, albeit one much smaller than that of the game. While his left arm is completely uncovered by the seemingly unfinished power suit (save for some bandages wrapped around it and a fingerless glove worn on his left hand) his right arm - usually brandishing his signature, massive great hammer - is seen as an oversized silver gauntlet very similar in appearance to his armor, were it not for the obvious technological advancements and visible alien power cells seen on it compared to the rest of the armor. Retractable heat radiators can be seen attached to this arm, which mostly remain retracted inside of his right arm when they are not venting heat. The same canisters of the viscous, greenish-blue fluid making up the alien power cells are visibly built into his hammer alongside a strange, glowing purple device. These fuel cells are used in powering two very suspicious-looking holes on either side of the hammer. On his armor, Billy also carries a large power pack which doubles as a backpack, carrying along with him a wide variety of items and trinkets into battle.

Species: Human

Backstory:
A few years ago, prior to the start of Powers United, New York City was subject to a large scale Chitauri invasion, commanded by a certain Asgardian God looking to pursue his own nefarious goals. Fortunately for humanity, however — and for New York — a group of superheroes known as The Avengers defeated the Asgardian and his army, stopping what could've been a catastrophic disaster of global proportions. This set the stage for many superhero groups to follow, with the Avengers entering the global stage on par with other well-known hero groups such as The Justice League.

Though the battle had been won, as with all wars, there remained the issue of clean-up. No one knew where they would put all of the alien weapons and other artifacts left over from the battle. In the wake of the Battle of New York, many independent companies looking to survive, such as Adrian Toomes' Salvage Company, often pitched in to clean up the mess made from the Battle of New York. However, the United States Department of Damage Control and a certain Tony Stark, after purchasing the former S.H.I.E.L.D. branch of the same name, took over the responsibility of cleaning up the mess from where folks like the Avengers left, effectively cutting off companies such as Toomes' from gaining any revenue to support their families. While people like Toomes often resorted to crime to make ends meet, other folk, such as Billy Reeves, chose an alternative route.

The home schooled Billy Reeves had a natural affinity to technology and engineering thanks to his meta gene, which triggered an great interest and skill in the STEM field in the boy at a very young age. At young ages, Billy was already inventing things that no regular eight or nine year old would be making - moreover, stuff that a professional would envy. Reeves, a former student of the prestigious Midtown School of Science and Technology in New York, also saw the opportunity in taking advantage of the huge amounts of debris left behind by the Chitauri invasion not for his own nefarious deeds, but to settle an old rivalry he had with someone who attended the school. More specifically, his best friend. Dropping out of MSST and spending an entire school semester's worth of effort on perfecting a salvaged alien power fist, Reeves sought to enact payback on his childhood rival, another metahuman who attended MSST known as Luke. Billy called Luke over to his house, looking to one-up the metahuman by punching him straight through the wall. He failed, of course, after Luke reversed the fist directly into Billy's face and launched its own user away, ending a decade-long rivalry between the two in a mere thirty seconds. Reeves was unfortunately sidelined from the super field from that moment forward, growing even more jealous of his friend's growing popularity and alleged apprenticeship with more famous heroes later on.

Though Billy being sidelined was an unfortunate experience, it allowed him to gain some much needed insight and reflection into his flaws and limitations, and, among other things, gave him some well needed time to rest. Though, this time of rest did not last for very long. Fueled by his desire to keep moving forward and to surpass his friend later on in life once again, Billy began work on his iconic power armor and hammer for two years until, after several trials and failures, he ultimately perfected the golden suit of armor and hammer. Harnessing the power of several salvaged alien power cells he dubbed simply as "Batteries," Billy added a powerful explosive kick to his punches and hammer blows which, not to mention, providing for an excellent and efficient power source to his armor.

Now, in a new world where supers and villains seemed to be popping up left, right, and on all three axes, Billy Reeves deliberately flung himself directly onto the streets in the middle of the fray, often collaborating with or competing against the more well-known supers such as Spider Man, all to rid the streets of crime and disorder, but more importantly, to punch suckers through walls.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Billy's Armor: In his power armor, Billy is very much stronger, faster, more agile, and more durable than any regular human, and possesses such strength that allows him to operate such a heavy piece of armor like his own without any major issues and stay on par with those with super strength, while his speed and agility allow him to maintain ample maneuverability, despite weighing nearly half a ton in full armor.
  • Genius-Level Intellect: The only real "power" that billy has, technically. Billy's intelligence, on behalf of his meta-gene, can be comparable to that of a genius scientist or engineer, despite being quite young. A perfect example of his intelligence is, of course, his personalized armor, which he made himself, along with his hammer and modifications to the alien power fist. Billy is seen as being easily capable of blending human and alien technology together, despite knowing barely anything about the latter, and holds a natural affinity to the field in general.
  • Power Fist: Originally belonging to a crashed Chitauri whose power arm was simply discarded as junk, Billy seized the Power Fist for himself, finding it to work especially well on his right arm as a new and powerful addition to his arsenal. The Power Fist, programmed by Billy to work in conjunction alongside his armor, is capable of sustaining massive amounts of stress and is seemingly indestructible, very much like Adamantium or Vibranium, due to the alien metals it was made from. Its bionic properties allows Billy to dish out powerful blows from his fist, with or without his armor worn. These damage level of these hits vary, but are generally devastating and effective. Most of the time, this arm is used as a shield due to its durability, and often sees the most stress anywhere on Billy. In conjunction with his intelligence, Billy has integrated his right arm as the center piece of all his known and powerful techniques involving his self-dubbed "super arm", along with several mysterious alien power cells he used to power his equipment.
"Alien Batteries": Billy's armor - along with his right arm and hammer - is powered by a viscous, glowing green fluid stored in small fuel cells, dubbed simply and anti-climatically as "Alien Batteries." These Alien Batteries - and thereby the fluid inside of them - make for a combustible, highly-efficient fuel source that allows for the operation of machinery for dozens of years on end without the need to refuel. This means that Billy's armor and hammer may operate for near indefinite periods of time without the need to recharge or refuel. These batteries may deliberately be "supercharged," turbo boosting any machinery is is currently fueling, a trait which Billy gladly takes advantage of. These Alien Batteries are incredibly versatile in that they may be used for a variety of practical applications, as well as to produce deadly effects in a combat standpoint.
  • Concussion Punch/Slam: Billy is capable of using the Alien Batteries to supercharge his punches with his arm, literally adding an explosive kick to his punches. These punches are easily capable of knocking the target back and causing great internal and external damage, if it does not outright obliterate the target at first. This can also be used to create huge concussive area of effect blasts around the area, which also may knock targets back. This combustion system can also be used to launch the Power Fist's right hand, in a sort of "Rocket punch" style attack, in order to attack targets from afar with the same explosive force as before. His Power Fist's hand remains attached to the rest of his arm via a cable, that can be used to pull it back in at will or swung around like a sort of mace. In addition to his arm, Billy's hammer may also be amplified with the same explosive force powered by the Alien Batteries, albeit to a much more devastating and precise effect. The suspicious-looking holes on each end of the hammer are, in actuality, thruster ports, which allow the hammer to swing at ludicrous speeds and thus hit targets with bone-shattering force, all powered by supercharged Alien Batteries.
  • Gravity Distortion: Billy's hammer sports an artificial gravity generator mounted on it as well, granting the hammer Gravity-altering capabilities powered by the Alien Batteries. This means, in conjunction with any Alien Battery-powered hit with his hammer, Billy has the potential to obliterate targets by displacing gravity around the hammer head, effectively using gravity to assist in crushing the target. This can also be used to pull in smaller objects, but Billy strangely does not take advantage of this often.
  • Concussion Beams: Billy's Power Fist is capable of morphing itself into an arm-cannon built around a rather powerful combustion-based beam weapon, which uses the same concussive, explosive energy from his punches and hammer blows in the form of a powerful ranged attack. This cannon releases energy beams and blasts of pure solidified energy that can cause massive concussive damage, with an added area of effect bonus, among other effects. The effects of this beam range from just a slight push on targets, to major damage and even the potential annihilation of much weaker targets. This beam weapon is used sparringly, however, as it has the potential to eat up large swathes of valuable energy to his suit and batteries. It also renders his right arm useless for a minute, with the arm having to vent heat from its radiators from especially energy-intensive beams.

Weaknesses and Limitations:
  • Prolonged usage of his Alien Battery-based attacks may render his right arm useless for up to a minute, where the radiators on his arm vent off excess heat to prevent themselves from exploding and causing a potentially messy situation.
  • Billy is completely vulnerable to psionic attacks, and suffers from poisons and diseases just as any regular human would.
  • Without his armor, Billy is effectively human durability-wise, save for his right arm, which really offers him no special powers or abilities in the end.
  • Billy is incredibly rash and reckless, often deliberately entering fights that he knows he will have difficulty in or not win solely due to the fact that he enjoys the thrill. This often endangers him and everyone else he is around.

Standard Equipment: His Power Armor, Hammer, Power Pack, Power Fist and extra Alien Battery cells. Regularly seen carrying around the Power Fist most everywhere he goes, either concealed or openly. Sports a black skull bandana around his face and mouth when in action in order to preserve his identity.

Fair enough.

Are we allowed to have second characters, btw? I had another idea, but it is a kinda-sorta powertheft (with the power having been modified to some degree) from something that isn't really Marvel or DC.

I was thinking of something vaguely similar to a mix of Glaistig Uaine/Faerie Queen (from Worm) and Sylar (from Heroes).

Basically, a very most definitely not-sane child-like individual whose powers let them intimately understand how other people's powers work, and can detect whether they are "natural" or not. Though the hallucinations aren't real, this individual believes in the "Fae" (or whatever I end up calling them); the way that their power manifests the person "seeing" other people's powers and such.

A secondary power lets them, if the person's powers are "natural" (mutagenic, genetic, genetic-modification, or other non-technological/non-magical bases), steal the powers of a person they touch. Unfortunately, like both the Faerie Queen or Rogue from Marvel for a better comparison, this also drain's the person's life force to various degrees, and depending on what the power is, the process of stealing it may kill the individual that had their power stolen from.

Was also thinking of having this character able to use the powers they stole from individuals, but only three at once (like the Faerie Queen), and to use them, the person manifests the "ghosts"/"Fae" of the individuals as illusions of some kind, which still aren't real (but again, the person's power made them insane and thus had to compensate, eventually). From the person's perspective, the Fae are simply giving their power to them as long as they are active/present. The "Fae" are not able to interact with the world and are simply 'visible' hallucinations.

Obviously, there'd be plenty of weaknesses. It'd be kind of tedious to mention all of the powers this individual has stolen, so I'll probably only list primary powers as well as notable stolen powers. Of course, to prevent me from pulling powerful powers out of my ass, I'll make sure the notable powers are all the more powerful ones this individual has stolen; any powers not mentioned will be weaker, and thus, even if my char does swap out powers, they won't be "stronger" than those in the app.

Assuming the weaknesses are fair, I don't see why not.
