So, as a resident of the state, you are a member of the Maryland unorganized militia. Someone who has taken an oath to defend Maryland, but does not live there, is also a member of the Maryland unorganized militia. Two different statements.

Of those 279... only six were from rifles and shotguns combined.

Compared to 44 from "Knives or cutting instruments", or 16 from "Hands, fists, feet, etc", which are apparently much much deadlier then the shit he is trying to commend further regulation on.
