It's been used to justify America's modern day imperialism, the toppling of Saddam and destabilizing of Iraq, the invasion of Afghanistan. But why should we care about what happened 16 years ago? When America killed more than that in Iraq alone? When they killed 20 million since World War 2? Why should we care about their 9/11, when they backed a fascist coup in Chile on 9/11? Why does the rest of the world need to care that you got attacked in response to what you've been doing for years?

It is. I don't care about America being attacked in response to their own actions. This could've been preventable but no, they had to invade little countries. It's like the bully beating up a kid in the playground and then being hit once and crying about it.
