Years have passed since the end of the Great Balkans War, and Europe seems to be recovering. Noxtrem and its northern vassal, Zealmark, dominate Northern Europe, Central Europe, and the Baltic Sea. The Empire of Vanavoy is rapidly ending its economic woes. Rutthenia draws closer to their german allies. Noxtrem is attempting to organize a new European pact between itself, Vanavoy, and Rutthenia. Aryanistan has recently reorganized. While the relative power of the VERDRUPOL pact decline as Walgreens and Sietsk isolate themselves. However concerns about Noxtrem's large security and foreign intelligence program, the Stasi, are arising in Eastern and Southern Europe. The Stasi has been under serious scrutiny for funding nationalist forces in Rutthenia, and the Walgreensian government suspects Stasi infiltrators may be operation withing Walgreensian factories. However Noxtrem denies violating the rights of any nation. The concert of Europe is set to play a crescendo.

The Confederacy of McFreedomstan, considered by many to be the Eastern superpower, was elected to host the first Olympic games. An internal bidding war began and soon the Javanese factions won against their Chinese counterparts. Fearing the growing reality of being surpassed by their southern neighbors, Chinese factions of McFreedomstan began an organized effort to discredit the factions of Indonesia as barbaric and unfit to host the Olympic games. While the propaganda for Java and Sumatra was easily discredited, an embarrassing amount of violence, sexual deviance, and violations of even the most basic human rights in Borneo were shown and confirmed to the outside world. The Indonesian factions came to an agreement, something had to be done about Borneo. The factions of Borneo are given a list of ultimatums. They must adopt basic common laws, abolish slavery, and place restrictions on child labor. Should they refuse, a wave of sanctions, and possibly bullets, will rain down on them. Stuck between vengeful Sino-Hmong factions and threatening southern neighbors, the people of Borneo must make a difficult choice. Will the dig their heels and fight to maintain their system of absolute freedom, or will they accept that the time to compromise has come?

The Nationalist Gold Union, commonly referred to as the western superpower, stands at a crossroad. Its former position as the defacto military power of the Kaiserbund stands challenged by several of its allies. Citizens debate everyday over the rightful language and heritage of each province. Blacks face atrocities in the South African colonies that not even the cruelest slavers in Asia could match. Politicians share hushed whispers over the preservation of the Monarchy and its right to rule. On top of these burdens, the NGU must maintain a trustworthy image of persuade investors to continue and expand the use of its credits. In order to secure its future, this superpower must tread lightly.

But now, as several nations are choosing to progress their interests by covert means, the Stasi faces threats and competition. How much longer can the intelligence agencies operate without reprehension? Will potential violations of national sovereignty become escalate into wars? What will become of this tentative state of international peace? Time will soon tell. But it's doubtful that the nations of the world will give us a heads up, after all, loose lips sink ships.

Military Milestone and New Education Candidates

Today the High General of the Kesradean Armed Forces [HGKAF] announced that they have reached a milestone in the Armed Forces, reaching 300,000 as of the last recruit training graduation. The HGKAF spoke about this to the most recent recruit training of 600 Marines, 750 Soldiers, and 230 sailors. Where he revealed their training regiment made history, he also made statements at the home port of the KNS Alexander, the first Kesradean Supercarrier, and a few other assorted bases around the country. With the new troop count, more and more are becoming interested in the Army's Special Forces Regiment (SFR), the Marine Corps' Amphibious Special Warfare Battalion (ASWB), and the Air Force's Advanced Jump Platoon (AJP). To keep up with the demand the plans for a new Special Forces Training Base, named Camp Selva have been started.

The first 3 candidates have been announced that are running for Minister of Educational Affairs. Jesus Zorita, Lilian Espina, and Manuel Arrabal. More information will be released later this week.

Special Addition: Sietskian Merchant Explodes Near Gotland

At roughly five in the morning on July 14th, 2030, a Sietskian Merchant vessel was traveling along the Travemünde-Helsinki commercial sea route, near the Noxtremian Island of Gotland, when it released a distress call. The call was picked up by crewmen of the F222 Erdeburg and F220 Hamburg, who were patrolling the travel route to protecting trade. At 5:30, the F220 Hamburg had spotted the vessel, which was on fire, and rapidly sinking. Upon the approach of the F222 Erdeburg, the vessel's midsection exploded, at which point it became evident that the situation was too dangerous for the warships to approach. However, the crews of the Erdeburg and Hamburg were able to save 128 crewmen from the Sietskian merchant vessel before the fires were engulfed in the Baltic waters. At 11:25 today, Reichspräsident Erdeburg stated in a press release that:

Noxtrem will continue it's duties to protect Baltic trade, and this matter will be fully investigated. The crewmen of the Sietskian vessel, are being held in protective custody by the Ministry of State Security in Landsburg Detention Facility. I have reached out to the Sietskian Consulate in Hannover, and we are looking for a solution to bring them back to their homeland.

In the same press release, Minister of State Security, Fritz Hersch released information regarding the origin of the vessel:

Our investigators, working in cohesion with the Navy, have discovered partial travel logs. These logs reveal that the vessel departed from the Sietskian port of Arensburg, and was part of the fleet used by the Sietskian government's export company. Thus far, we know that the cargo the vessel was carrying was mostly crude oil, and was headed for the Noxtremian port of Travemünde.

Just today the secretary of the navy, Adm. Jacob Taylor's request for the deployment of the Melania carrier group to be deployed has been accepted by the defense committee and the president. The carrier group will set sail tomorrow and be there within 2 days. Also, along with the group will be 2 LHD groups with 2,000 marines each will dock at a naval base in Panjoil. Also, the navy is working in conjunction with the air force to keep stability in the Arab region. Two F-16 Squadrons have been deployed to Panjali Airbases, along with 10 B-1B Bombers and 25 A-10 Warthogs. The reason for this mass deployment has not been disclosed but more details will be available soon.

Piraterram, an African country facing hard times at the moment, has agreed to become a vassal of the Worrrisian Empire for the next 6 years. Worrisian diplomat Carlito Cruz and Piraterramic diplomat Jacques Dubois both agreed to this in Rekjavik, Svallbard, earlier today. The treaty says, in summary, that the country of Piraterram is to let the country of Worris make all of its diplomatic decisions. Worris is sending 3 divisions to protect the country of Piraterram. We are also sending a monthly sum of 100 million dollars to the Piraterramic government to be used on only infrastructure. Also, the Worrisian government can siphon as many resources from our new vassal as we need. Piraterram can't join any military pacts as well without Worrisian approval. Both countries must act in good faith with each other. Piraterram is also to stop spending money on military and Worris is to deal with it.

An Executive Director will be sent to Piraterram, named Flaurian Roy, will be allowed to make executive decisions. Flaurian Roy and Empress Alexandra will both be able to make executive decisions on Piraterram. Overall, the vassalship of Piraterram is said to be mutually beneficial to both nations.

While the Alornian military is much less powerful than ours, there are two major factors to consider. One: we lack a significant naval presence in the Pacific, which could easily allow for the Alornians to establish considerable naval dominance along the coast. Of course, this can be defended with fleet of fighter jets and bombers that are slowly being moved west, but it's something to keep an eye out for. If their navy sends a missile cruiser up to the Welteinheitsbahn, we will definitely run into some serious problems. The second major factor to consider is the geography. We've chosen a good time of year to begin this war, as the blazing hot summer has come to an end. However, the Rocky Mountains and the deserts of Nevada will considerably slow down our soldiers. As of now, we're able to easily move troops into the great plains east of the Rockies because the Alornians will take a long time to move through the mountains (or they'll probably just set up a defensive line on the western side.) Right now, my major concerns are with securing as much flat, dry land as possible as quickly as possible. After that, we can consider the possibility of daring to send troops across the Rockies. Additionally, our marines in Vankuve have made landings in the small and relatively uninhabited Haida Gwaii and Vancouver Islands, both of which are owned by Alorn. These islands could likely be used by the Alorns for basing ships, spying on our command, or other nefarious plots. With these islands knocked out of the occasion, we can hopefully keep this war on one front. We intend to integrate the Alornians into our culture, as they are Anglo-Germanic, just like the Laurentians. This being said, we must take caution and never take any actions that would inconvenience the general populace of the country. Vice Executive Palden visits Worris, Noambi

Earlier today, V.E. Dorje Palden had a meeting with Empress Alexandra of Worris. The meeting was scheduled as a mutual agreement of friendship between the two nations, with the two world leaders meeting in public, posing for pictures, and enjoying each others company. After the initial pictures and cordialities, Palden and Alexandra met in private, where they discussed and agreed to a free trade agreement between Panjal and Worris.

On the 24th, Palden will be boarding a cruise from Worris to Noambi to accept the small country's charity award; the "Bookie." Panjal was gifted the award after making a considerable donation from the Islamabad Library to Noambi's national book drive.

Defense Report CLASSIFIED: Wasp and Liberty sent to Ubizytotska for Training Exercise

The Wasp and Liberty carrier groups were sent to Panjoil for an oil shipment and are now being sent to Ubizytotska to deploy 4,500 Marines and will be sent back to Mumbai to pick up M1-A2 Abrams tanks and M2 Bradleys. The Air Divisions that were sent to Panjal will be relocated to Western Ubizytotska. 2,500 Marines will be airlifted to the western border of Ubizytotsaka to aid in the training exercise. The Melania Carrier Group will remain in the Arabian Sea until further notice. Another order has just been sent for the addition of 10 Visby Class Corvettes to be deployed with the Melania.

In project updates, we will be ordering the construction of 12 Arleigh-Burke Flight II A Destroyers over a period of 3 years which will cost 7.2 billion dollars per year over the course of 3 years. These destroyers will be outfitted with a new 60 kW-class Lazer weapon and sea sparrow missiles as new technology and everything else is standard. Along with that order was an order for 10 Hamina Class missile boats set to be completed by March of next year and costing $500,000,000 .
