This thread is basically the battleground of all IC activities in the KerbinContinued region. This is a continuation of the old thread for the original region, Kerbin.

The Rules

1. Post OOC in the RMB, with telegrams, or the discord. If you would like to join the discord, send me a telegram.
2.No one liners; the RP has evolved enough that you are expected to have at least a small bit of quality in your posts.
3. Follow good RP ettiquete, that means discuss posts involving other nations with them before hand, nothing unreasonable, etcetera.
4. Remeber this is MT. We can allow some things a bit more advanced than in the modern day (Particularly pretty much anything you can build in stock KSP will be allowed), but it has to be within the realm of possibility with real world tech.
5. Lack of following these rules may lead to your post becoming non-canon (not considered to be an 'official' part of the RP and regional canon)
6. You must be on the official regional map (and by extention in the region itself, though certain exceptions will be made for nations that have remained in Kerbin) to participate
7. Respect your fellow RPers.
8. You must discuss wars and invasions with both parties.
9. No biological weaponry
10. Any and all posts or nations which do not follow these rules are automatically un-canon. 'I didn't read the rules' or 'I didn't know' is not a valid excuse, and repeatedly not following the rules may get you removed from canon and ejected from the region.
11. No NS stats
12. If you are under the belief that you have access to a nuke, or should have access to a nuke, you must contact me (Kerthenia) and Abstractaomnia. Otherwise, you do not.
13. All new nations' military tech begins at 1970's Soviet levels of technology to keep it fair to existing nations. You can't have a supercarrier on your first day.
14. One nation (with a map claim) per customer. No puppets, though puppets can be formed from land you own.
15. Have fun.

The Setting

We're picking up (almost) where we left off in the original thread.
Any event involving Blorbs or 0rbs is considered to either not have happened if they did it by themselves or to have been done by someone else if it was a group activity, they have been wholly retconned in accordance with their wishes.
However, the end of the war with Cernatine is considered canon. The conflict between Kerbal States and New Anderia over Microskovo is not considered canon.

Further references to Blorbs and 0rbs are greatly discouraged as the two nations technically didn't exist.

Announcment by the Wasbitoni Ministry of Resources

One week ago a large oil field was found in unclaimed land about 10 miles from the Wasabitoni border and 12 miles from the Pentoslovakian border. after much talk in our congress, We have decided to set up oil wells at the location and incorporate the territory into our country in order to boost our economic power and bring a higher quality of life to our population as a result. We would also like to join the Omniabstractan Economic Area. Finally, we are proposing to build a Trans-serthenian highway to more easily connect the continent. Thank you and Prosperity for all.

Earlier today the Supreme Marshall was informed about the findings of this new oil well and what the Wasbiton nation has done to it. He called for an immediate meeting in secret with his Military Advisors, Foreign Relations Team, and Economic Advisors. Enraged he demanded that the territory be handed over to the Pentoslovakian Nation and all it's oil wells and equipment seized for the government. Also he stated that all Wasbitoni citizens will be allowed to depart to their families, the military have been mobilized and are ready for military action if needed. Lastly the Supreme Marshall says this is native Pentoslovakian Territory and not handing it over would be stealing, but he hopes we maintain peace.

Announcment From the Wasabitoni Ministry of Defence

In response to the foolish demands from the Pentoslovakian government, the Government of Wasabiton refuses to hand over the oil fields and is partially mobilizing troops as well as sending 1,000 soldiers to guard the oil wells being built. we are also going to station 150,000 troops to the border with Pentoslovakia. The President has said we will not back down and we will stand our ground. we discovered this oil and we are keeping it. We warn the Pentoslovakian Government to think rationally and to stand down. We do not want war but we will retaliate if attacked.

ESTARCA SUPPORTS PENTOSLOVAKIA

After the announcement made by one of our allies, we are fully supporting them. Our grand navy, army, and air force are willing to fight with Pentoslovakia if they decide to fight, or if they are attacked. We are willing to launch an invasion on the Wasabitoni coast if need be, but, we hope that negotiations can calm the storm before it becomes a hurricane. Glory to the state, glory to order!

Amid rising tensions the Supreme Marshall met with President Jose Kerman in Wasbiton nations capitol building. The private meeting where press was not allowed the two leaders negotiated a deal. The western half will be ceded to Pentoslovakian and the other half stay Wasbitoni territory. The highway will continue construction and will run through Pentoslovakia but drivers will be met with a toll booth, car searches and tight security. The two leaders smiled in-front of a camera as they shook hands, this truly shows war is not the only option and the two nations will be working together frequently from now on despite their differences.

Today the Supreme Marshall met with his Foreign Advisors to discuss an ultimatum issued by the Kerbal States. When entering the room fear was visible in his facial expressions because of these words. After a 2 hour long meeting the Supreme Marshall made an announcement to the public in his address he said the following: "Under the circumstances and current military stance in the world we are backing down to the ultimatums. The ultimatum was issued by the Kerbal States and demanded the following The Pentoslovak nation MUST sign a non-aggression pact with every nation on Kerbin or get more embargos and sanctions."

When Pentoslovakia signed the non-aggression pact with every nation on Kerbin the people got angry. MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONS OF THE TAOO

Todays the leaders from Pentoslovakia, Ugestan, Estarca, and the PRK watched as the ROSP launched it's first ever satellite into the atmosphere from the Lontrasi Launch Site in the Lontrasi Peninsula in the PRK from the Kheyausian Hephaestus-III rocket. The satellite had some technical problems while it was going up but scientists quickly fixed it up and it managed to break the atmosphere. Currently the satellite (Echo Star-1) is orbiting Kerbin at 5 miles per second and it will be used to collect data from the great planet of Kerbin.

The Wasabitoni Government has come out with a statement to Pentoslovakia saying that they do not intend to give back the oil field as they have made the agreement null and void. any military attempt to retake the field will be met by retaliation and war. in other news, the recent Wasabitoni legislative elections were a massive victory for the socialist and libertarians as they each take 44% of the seats in the house of congress with the Republicans taking 11% and the Democrats taking 1%. in response, the democratic President Jose Kerman has resigned and chose Libertarian politician Joao Kerman to take the lead.

Today Nicholas Fry and other TAOO nation leaders held a joint press conference about the recent statements made by the Wasbitoni Government. The leaders addressed the press that Operation Eagle is a go, but the leaders said the operation is currently classified. Any more further accusations or statements made during this tense times will be met with a more stricter terms and operations. The nations of the TAOO stand strong together and believe in peace but are not afraid going to war for what's right. The K.S. government strongly denounces the imperialist nature of the TOAA, and its fascist stature of government. Democracy is key to a free society, and currently, the TOAA is the main roadblock to achieving a global free world. K.S. diplomats and strategists are working hard to find solutions to these global problems, and no options are currently of the table. Other news includes the second Serthenian Leaders Summit to be held on Saturday, September 9th 2017. The summit will discuss defensive military and diplomatic options against the fascists. Knowing that they are plotting against the free world, we must be prepared to retaliate. Incidents like the Pentoslovakian Civil War will not stay within their own borders, and we must be prepared for action against the fascist movement. Also, Nicholas Fry made an announcement today that the evil nation of Wasabiton is a warmongering and greedy nation wanting all the oil for themselves. The country is mobilizing and training to prepare for the worst.

Successful Space Station Launch!
Minister of Space and Aeronautics Aretina Stamati has announced along with the ROSP that OASS-1(Oasis-1) has been successfully launched atop a Kheyausian Hephaestus-III on Friday, 16:00 CKT. The Orbital Alliance Space Station has been under development for almost a year now, and it will be operational within the weekend. Three TDS Typhoon-class non-reentry tugs, designed in a collaborative effort within the brilliant scientists of the TAOO, were also launched with the station, the new standard repair capsule. There was a minor incident during the launch, when part of an outer hull plate separated and fell back to Kerbin, thankfully causing no damage and splashing down somewhere in the ocean. The ROSP has another satellite launch scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th.

War coming?
With Pentoslovak-Wasabitoni tensions on the rise, Defense Minister Demetrius Harris issued a statement today pledging our support and allegiance to Pentoslovakia in return for a small share of the oil wells. He also stated that the Kheyausian People's Army is more than prepared to mobilize if necessary, but will only do so if provoked. Minister Harris responded to the Kerbal State's outrageous and nonsensical claims of "imperialism" and "fascism," calling them "over the line." Glorious and Venerable Grand Chairman expects a full and unconditional apology from Wasabiton.

Hello my fellow countrymen, I have to you today to talk about the threats made by the Pentoslovakian Nation as well as the other members of TAOO. We along with the Serthenian Union perceive this as not just a threat to us but a threat to the continent. as such I have activated order 28 which begins rapid mobilisation and we will also begin an embargo on Pentoslovakia and encourage other nations too. FInally, we demand that other members of TAOO either condemn Pentoslovakia or leave the alliance. if they refuse the embargo will be extended to them. until Pentoslovakia backs down these precautions will remain in place.

As global tension continues to build, recently reports are coming in of significant quantities of Dolphik military units being mobilized and deployed to Eastern Traestan.

So far no official statement has been released by the government as to why Dolphik forces are present in eastern Traestan, although many are theorizing that CODET may be preparing for a previously unannounced large scale military exercise, a rumour that some government officials have supported, whilst some individuals are theorizing that hostile military action by CODET against a nearby nation may be imminent, so far both the government and CODET have denied such claims.

A wide variety of armoured vehicles, helicopters, and such have all been seen in eastern Traestan, and significant amounts of troops have also been deployed, and aircraft bearing Dolphik markings, particularly cargo aircraft, which are presumably involved in the moving of troops and equipment, have become a common sight in the skies of Traestan.

The forces of other CODET nations, including Traestan's own military forces, have also been seen moving towards the area, and if this is indeed a joint military exercise, it will be one of the largest CODET has so far conducted.

Currently information on this event is still sparse, coming mainly from eyewitnesses amongst the Traestani population, members of the Dolphik military involved in it, and a couple of government leaks, we will continue to provide updates on this event when further information becomes available, but no matter what happens, this is likely to be a significant event in the history of CODET.
