[PASSED] Repeal "Condemn Kknight"

Postby Kaboomlandia » Tue Aug 22, 2017 10:05 pm

Repeal “Condemn Kknight”

Category: Repeal | Target: SC #194 | Proposed By: Kaboomlandia

The Security Council,

Aware that this esteemed body previously condemned the nation of Kknight for their longtime involvement in the raider organizations of The Black Riders and DEN, including being second-in-command of The Black Riders and a General in DEN,

Cognizant, however, of Kknight’s checkered history regarding international laws on raiding,

Pointing out the frequent use of Predator by Kknight, a weapon developed by General Halcones that gave raiders extremely accurate information to help their operations and which was later found to violate international law,

Noting that as retribution for the use of Predator the nation of Kknight was rendered permanently uninhabitable and its leader banned from participating in the World Assembly under any nation, effectively banning them from raiding,

Knowing that raiders consider condemnations to be badges of honour,

Highlighting the recent repeals of the condemnations of Gest and General Halcones, both frequent users of Predator, with the reasoning that those who used Predator to mercilessly attack innocent nations should not be recognized by the Security Council,

Noticing that Kknight’s condemnation passed only three days before the nation was obliterated from existence without warning under the sanctions for the use of Predator,

Disbelieving that a nation with flagrant violations of international law should be rewarded with a shiny badge by the Security Council,

Hereby repeals Security Council Resolution #194.

With contributions from [nation=short]Ridersyl[/nation].

Part 3 of 4 of my anti-Predator crusade. Thanks to Ridersyl for some of the research regarding Kknight’s involvement with Predator.

The "Highlighting" clause will be edited to add Halc if the repeal passes - I don't want to jinx it.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of this R4 thing - some of the phrasing may or may not be based off the first two proposals. :p

Please don't be afraid to comment if I've screwed up something horribly. 8)

Cognizant, however, of Kknight’s checkered history regarding international laws on raiding,

Shocked that during the April 2015 recruitment scandal for The Black Riders that led to the obliteration of the nations General Halcones and Bob Moran, Kknight was involved but was not sanctioned by the international community,

Pointing out the frequent use of Predator by Kknight, a weapon developed by General Halcones that gave raiders extremely accurate information to help their operations and which was later found to violate international law,

Shocked that despite Kknight’s heavy use of Predator, the leader of the nation only received a 3-month sanction from joining the World Assembly under any nation and none of Kknight’s satellite states were affected, a sanction identical to those received by nations such as Vandoosa, who were cooperative during the investigation of Predator,

Knowing that raiders consider condemnations to be badges of honour,

Highlighting the recent repeals of the condemnations of Gest, a frequent user of Predator, with the reasoning that those who used Predator to mercilessly attack innocent nations should not be recognized by the Security Council,

Thanks, although I wasn't expecting this enthusiastic of a response considering it's the same base argument as the first two, just written differently :p

So, are you just gonna keep repealing these useless Condemnations with the same style? Also, what do you think about my draft currently?

This is part of my ongoing project to try to wipe out the badges of those members punished for Predator (with the exception of Vandoosa's condemn, which I don't believe needs to be removed since Vandy was apparently cooperative during the Predator investigation).

While yes, some parts of the three repeals are similar due to the subject matter, they do have different reasons as well. Gest for behaviour towards other raiders, and Halc and Kknight for the recruitment scandal of April 2015.

Shocked line #2 I suspect. I agree, it seems to have little to do with your target and kind of runs counter to the overall point of your proposal. Regardless, there's no need to be shocked twice :p

In all fairness, both 'shocked' lines seem to be criticising the Mods. If there isn't a rule against doing that then there should be.

Good point. I think they both are :p

You can't criticize the mods for failing to notice predator users, there were so many. They're volunteers with actual lives. So, yeah, I'd agree on the mod rule idea

If you're going to collect facts, be sure to get them right. I had no involvement at all with the recruitment. What so ever.

I support the removal of all SC matters. I hope this will pass, even if you leave the lies in here.

And taking "information" from someone who really dislikes me, you might have been fed a few falsities about other facts as well.
