[Nunavutialand]

The Nunavutian State Government of Kiribati requests autonomy from Nunavutialand.
The National Assembly votes in favour of autonomy for Kiribati, however this must be passed on to the Upper Assembly (made up of the Provincial Ministers of Kiribati, Japan, Korea, Manchuria, and the Philippines.

The Upper Assembly Meeting is held three days after the NA vote. It was held in Naha in Okinawa due to the fact that Okinawa is technically not part of a Province, but is governed by the King.
The vote for Kiribati's independence is 3 to 2 in favour. Korea and Japan voted against it. As a result, the name of Kiribati will be changed from the Nunavutian Province of Kiribati to the Autonomous Nunavutian Region of Kiribati, and Kiribati's government will be renamed to the Regional Government of Kiribati.

Following the ruling, the Provincial Minister of Japan, Prime Minister Hassan Shaikh and the Provincial Minister of Korea Moon Yoo-Kyi launch a legal challenge against Kiribati's autonomy in the High Court of Okinawa. The case is won by them and Kiribati is absorbed into the Province of Japan, which is renamed to the Province of Eastern Nunavutialand.
This prompts large protests in Kiribati, eventually escalating into riots. Police officers from the large Manila Police Department are sent. The riots last for 15 days and about D^12,482,488 of damage is caused, and 55 people die. Prime Minister Hassan Shaikh calls it an act of cowardice, that the rioters hid behind their masks and fought like dogs.

In regards to the situation in the Protacan, we insist that the Moralist ideology cannot be sustained much longer if the Protacan wish to remain significant on the world stage. We encourage them to use a more harsh policy on Taiping.
