They shouldn't be condemned if they achieved the condemnation through cheating.

This nation cheated its way to gain that condemnation. It doesn't deserve it because it cheated. It may have done things worthy of a condemnation, but it achieved it through sly unhonest means, making their significance dulled to nothingness.

Plus, how in the heck does this get more publicity?

Can I just ask why this is in question? If the nation in question no longer exists, why does it matter? Sure, there's Gest II, but they are still a separate entity, even if run in the same fashion. Repealing after a nation is gone seems redundant since the nation is already gone.

Also, this is completely true; repealing the condemnation could also be held as a "medal". This would give Gest/Gest II two "medals", if the condemnation was even interpreted as one to begin with.

"Believing that it is improper to reward Gest for their leadership when several raids under their watch were executed using the Predator superweapon, which demonstrated no mercy for the innocent nations affected by these brutal invasions;

Aware that since many raiders treat condemnations as a reward, allowing Gest to retain their condemnation for raids that occurred using dishonourable methods is effectively rewarding them for their misdeeds

This wasn't a rewarding, it was a condemnation. Also, it states "many raiders treat condemnation as a reward" Since this is written as many and not all, there is no guarantee that Gest treats his condemnation as a reward.

Gest II is controlled by the same player, and the repeal doesn't give him a badge, it takes the badge away.
