So to get away from the typical political stuff here I had a question. If you were a mutant (a la marvel comics) what would you be like and what would your super powers be?

For me I would be a person who controls sound waves I produce and can use those sound waves to affect people's minds. I would mostly do this through things like making music and singing, though I could also dampen or magnify sound waves. This would occur regardless of the medium the sound is traveling through so earplugs and the such wouldn't exactly do much. The reason I would use song mainly because I would have a stutter, which gets in the way of my abilities. My abilities could be used to the good or the bad, where I can help people overcome there own mental scaring like ptsd, but I could also use it to brainwash people to do what I want.

Excellent. In that case that's what I'd do. I'd travel around the world somehow finding trans people and altering the world, including themselves and everyone they know, instantaneously to fit the true perception of their gender identity.

I'd be telekinetic, but not the kind of telekinesis where you can levitate cars. I wouldn't have super-human strength, but I'd have the ability to manipulate materials with precision on a small scale. For example, it would be simple to pick locks or fix broken jewelry or make detailed drawings by using telekinesis to spread the ink around the page. I'd have a job as a paramedic, using my powers stop people bleeding out, set broken bones, extract bullets, etc. without the need for clumsy surgical tools. Could even do stuff like breaking up blood clots without the need to cut the person open to get to the clot.
